They catch the "mule" but never the "owner". They'll just replace then with someone else. Also, most drugs dont come via the commercial airlines or post. A lot of "VIP" can by pass this all on their private planes.
No matter how short the trip would be, I would never bring fresh and unrefrigerated seafood. Not that I have ever traveled carrying any food items. I buy food from where I am travelling to. And that's pretty much it.
1. Because a very common thing to bring when you visit somebody internationally is food from your own country. 2. Because a very common souvenir to bring home when you visit another country is food. 3. Because people travelling long distance bring food with them to eat on the journey, but don't necessarily finish all of it. 4. Because probably a dozen other reasons.
No need for banning all foods family’s whom have emigrated do Love ❤️ Some Home favourite’s all packed by Chocolate company’s various pieces of other enjoyable goodies. Not wet fish or Nut Products Wood of any sort.
You obviously are to dense to realize that f....n fly that we don’t have here in our country can destroy our agriculture sector, and every country in the world has pests we do not want here thanks..ya need to get better informed before making dumb comments
You want to try suffering with anxiety when out and especially when among lots of people, its a nightmare. I am called in to these places every single time I ever go anywhere lol and I have never done a thing wrong
I do… i get palpitations, chest pains and i shake.. its horrible. I must look like a real mule with my behaviour but all i ever used to bring here ( Ibiza ) when i came back after i popped the uk was paracetamol because its over €6 here ! 56p in Tesco uk
The destroyed the eel but let all the other fish go.... doesn't make sense, that eel was with all the fish so it would have contaminated them as well, through the fluid movement 🤔🤷♂️
I have only ever been through customs at airports in UK and Dubai, straight through all no problem and when coming back into the UK I got pulled by them, turned out they were making bets on what I had in my large Canvas bag (No not a Karrier Bag 🤣) and when they searched it one jumped with joy, he was spot on, it was my..... Unicycle, so I had to ride it through customs to be allowed to leave. Dover UK customs officers were singing a circus chant and waved us through in our painted up tourbus when we came off the boat one time. Love customs people, they are cool and do a great job.
Why none of this showing anything with the passengers arriving in private jets? I've worked with some high rollers people and just in one experience, the spokesperson of the rich tell the directors or customs and immigration "if you like to keep your job, DO NOT scan the baggages and let us in, i can end you with just a phone call'. And then we got straight pickup from tarmac and out from the airport. On the way out, its the exact same process. Believe me or not, this is what always happens. And god knows what inside some of the bags
Do u live on planet Mars? People will NEVER stop using drugs (check out cigarettes and alcohol ...) This problem will never be solved until people are allowed to take whatever the hell they like. If it kills them - who cares ? All u need is really tough penaties for people who take drugs & drive. Make drugs misuse a CRIMINAL issue, not a MORALITY issue.
@@magicfairy7805 Who would want their children growing up surrounded by drug takers? not me! Places like Singapore and Malaysia do not have a drug problem because they have draconian laws which are enforced and everybody knows it.
When these people are dealing with pax who don't speak English, they have to be MUCH better at communicating. The guy who lost the veg and the eel obviously had no idea what they were talking about - but they DID NOT make it clear - these people MUST get better training - this is idiotic for front line customs people.
Friendliest customs in the world but I feel for the eel.
A classic line, one that’s not heard nowadays,……Feel for the Eel!
Why do you feel for the eel. I can assure you that the eel doesn't feel for you
@@shibbymiyah6614 Compassion does not require reciprocity...but you don't actually know that.
The Eel might make a good pet. He could go in a big Aquarium!
Me, too!
It's important to remember the serious nature of border officers job in protecting borders and preventing illegal activity.
😂😂😂
No its not important at all I tell thee
@@shibbymiyah6614
Don't try to be smart.
The dog refusing to move on after detecting the bag of fruit is the cutest thing. ♥️
I'm confused. That Eel if classed as contaminated has contaminated
the whole box. You can't risk not doing so.
The approached of the boarder officers are very professional, calm and friendly.
They always are, when they're being filmed - just like the cops! 🤣🤣
ABDUL's smile, is EPIC, any woman would fall for his charms! I am all smiles!
Excellent work on officers and especially the K-9s❤
We agree, they are so intelligent!
I swear I only watch these episodes for the dogs!
They are so impressive, we can't get enough of them either!
Why do you care so much about the dogs. I can assure you the dogs don't care about you
16:57 - Best moment!
90%food 10 percent actual interest .
I like that they dance the eel around, with daunting music, lmao.
Why bring kiwi into New Zealand? Don't they grow there?

Well done, airport staff.
No well done passengers
I love this documentary!!!
Hope you love it just as mich as us!

Keep up the good work
I will never understand why they don’t ban any and all food and plants of any type. I am sure there are local supermarkets

Love this program
They make a huge show of catching the small fly, while through the back door they secretly let the high rollers in!
Sooo true!!! And that's a global thing, not just New Zealand, or any of the countries that have these "tv-shows"

What's with the food??? I travelled a lot but never brought food. I am pretty sure New Zealand has food stores...
When they got a translator it made me think, wonder if they require a Scottish translator when we come to visit 😂 (aseeyoujimmy 🤣)
@ weemarie1137
Some Scots need a Scottish translator
OCH I YEE KNEW😂
I'm english and some Scots are very hard to understand especially when they are talking fast amongst themselves
People allowed in: Someone carrying large crates of fish, former robber, drug users.
People not allowed in: Man carrying an apple in his bag.
Think I remember that episode. The man was allowed, not the apple.
They don't refuse entry for small amounts of undeclared fruit. They just destroy the fruit and usually fine the traveller.

Less than 3 years for large quantity of high valued drugs is ridiculous.
Worth the risk.
Better 10 year minimum for all drug dealers.
If that one guy were to enter Canada with all of that food, especially all that fish, he would have left the airport broke and empty-handed
He isn't in canada .... fool !
Some of these travellers are so durr.
Does anybody check all the imports COMING from NZ like they’re so fond of doing to everyone else?
2 years and nine months for 2 to 3 million worth of ice is ridiculous

2 years only for smuggling drugs?? 😂
nice people at newzealnd airport i like
Have you been there? They are anything but nice, quite nasty in fact.
Far more welcoming in Australia.
So, did the poker player win his tournament?
Why are not fines, graded, for example food 3000, dollars ans drug fines start at 5000,with increments or banned from NZ /AUS,FOR LIFE ???
why are drug couriers sentences so light?
In this case, it was only a class-C controlled substance.

I am in the process of applying for my accredited employee visa. Am i allowed to bring my fiance's ashes into the country?
