A few weeks ago I demoed the fabulous Fane Ascension A60 AlNiCo speaker - and I absolutely loved it! It's quickly become one of my all-time favourite speakers. A lot of you wanted to know though...how does it compare to the various AlNiCo offerings from Celestion?
In today's video - Part 1 of 3 (maybe 4!) - I'm going to put it alongside the Celestion AlNiCo Cream; the most powerful of their range. This isn't a "Celestion vs. Fane Grudge Match" or anything that clickbaity...this is just a simple & fair comparison of the two so we can hear the fundamental similarities and differences between these two giants of tone.
What do you think? What differences were there? Do you prefer one over the other? Comment below!
