The Lost DLC of Sonic 06

With the release of Project 06's Mod Loader 2.0, a Metal Sonic mod was also released, which replaces Sonic in Project 06. Metal Sonic also features his rolling move from SA2.

Not sure. The only thing we know is that his name was referenced in several strings internally, in the same manner as other playable characters. Maybe he was planned as a skin for Sonic, just like in SA1, or perhaps as a future DLC.
