I have the same SSID as my old house and even after resetting the printer it still tries to reconnect using stored password for old SSID. Troubleshooting steps say make sure passphrase is correct but can’t find any way to change or view passphrase

I have the same printer, but I need help on automatically connecting my phone to my printer once I turn it on. Because everytime I turn it off I have to input my WiFi password everytime I want to use it & it’s annoying. How can I fix this ?
Hi, Kimberly! That's an odd problem as connecting your phone to your printer should be a one-time process. Both devices should continue to see each other as long as your network's information doesn't change and each device's IP address remains static. Do you need WiFi for this 😭😭 I can’t afford WiFi right now but need to print.. I use hotspot from my phone but I doubt u can connect printer and phone to that.. 😒 I miss when things where pluggable for free .. convenient and till it’s not is the new wave 😔🌊
Hi, Jasilyn! If you don't have access to a wireless router, your PIXMA TS5120 and your phone can communicate with each other directly when you use the printer's Wireless Direct feature. You'll find this option in your printer's setup menu under Settings > Device settings > LAN settings > Wireless Direct. Your printer's manual goes into greater detail. Hope this helps!
