Beverly WV, around 1976, my mom was putting my little sister into the back of my Dads Dodge Dart. We lived by a river, lined with trees, on the other side was my grandparents house, which was also lined with trees-pine trees around 50-60 feet high. It was evening, not quite dark. For no particular reason, I was compelled to look up toward the tree line. I saw a flying saucer, basically what Lazar described, almost to a T. It was around 40-60 feet wide, with portals which were very bright inside-like a 100 watt lightbulb 💡 in a shoe box. Three small lights on the bottom, red-blue-yellow. I was a kid, around 7 and I started pulling on my mom’s shirt tail to get her attention. That aggravated her because she was busy getting my little sister in the car. She finally turned around and looked up. She saw what I saw. It was just there. No sound. Not just some light in the sky. An obviously structured craft. We never saw it come, we never saw it go. She rushed me in the car and we headed off to her parents house about 10 miles down the road where she told her parents and sisters. To this day, we have never forgot it and remember it just the same. Altitude wise, it was just above the tree line. If I’d have been an adult, I could have hit it with a rock. Not sure if this qualifies as a “close encounter”, but it was entirely amazing.
Sounds like a close encounter to me. Wow! And yeah, that description of "close enough to hit it with a rock," is very descriptive and commonly used by witnesses. It really lets you know how close a craft is. Wow.

Why it was there of all places, I never gave a lot of thought until I was listening to grant cameron and his theory of “WOW”. Maybe it was just their to impress us or alter our consciousness and view of life?
As a kid, my family grew up in a very small town in the woods of Maine. When I was a teenager, my dad told us kids about something his friend from work told him in confidence one day. Something supposedly happened to him when he was a small child, I'm thinking it must have been some time in the early to mid 70's. He was home alone one night while his parents were out Christmas shopping. Long after he should have been in bed, he was sitting alone in the dark. His plan was to sneak a peek through the window when his parents returned and catch a glimpse of the presents they got him. After waiting for what seemed like hours, he finally saw a light outside and heard a racket. Assuming it was his parents in the driveway returning with the presents, he snuck towards the window, planning to conduct his snooping operation. Suddenly, he saw a classic "grey" peering in through the window at him, which made him jump in fear. He said the thing seemed as surprised to see him as he was to see it. Terrified, he ran into his room and hid the best he could. And that's all he remembered about that night. He had no memory of his parents coming home or even going to bed. Afterward, he tried to repress that incident because it scared the hell out of him. He always told himself it was just a kid's nightmare about the boogeyman or something similar. And he was successful in putting it out of his mind well into his adult life... UNTIL he was in a bookstore one day and randomly saw the alien on the cover of Whitley Strieber's book "Communion." He said he was actually paralyzed with fear and completely in shock when he saw that picture. He was instantly taken back to that encounter he had as a young kid in his parent's house and confronted with the frightening possibility that it actually happened. Anyway, that is supposedly a true story. Whether it is or not, it always creeped me out since it allegedly happened in the small town that I grew up in.
@Madman6505 That is a great story! I've heard of more than a few people who were shocked upon seeing that classic Communion cover...it's sooo...oof😳😓. I love the book and enjoyed the film, but I tend to leave the book face down because even though it's quite beautiful, I find it confronting in its eeriness 👀. Strieber says when he was working with the artist on variations, that THAT WAS THE ONE. Crazy to think about.

McMinnville cases: My daughter went to university there. Nice little town with a lovely historic district. As you may know, they have their own UFO Festival each year mid-May with a parade and speakers. I’d go but I gave her my car and I use a bicycle for all my nearby needs. Multicolored lichens and mosses grow on trees and in winter when the leaves are gone and the fog rolls in it’s quite a magical looking place.

In 1994 in Key West, Fl, while fishing with my daughter and a friend, saw a huge flying saucer hovering above us, no sound coming from it, it had intermittent lights that went around the saucer, I counted 19 on the side that was visible. After watching this craft for a while, I got scared and asked to pack up and go to the nearest hotel. Upon entering the room, I heard as if it was telepathy, "Don't hide we know where you are" This was never discussed again, as I didn't want to scare my daughter, then 8 years old
@prestondennett577 In 2015, while driving with my husband on I-75 from Tampa, FL. to Bonita Springs, only 1 mile away from the exit, we found ourselves 45 minutes away from our home in an area unknown to us. To this day, we still don't know what happened that night.
The brief case you mentioned at 59:52 peaked my head up. The one about a UFO following somebody from Sacramento to Galt. Recently there's been a lot of local Sacramento chatter about sightings of strange lights over Galt, CA. Some people claim its a government drone base, and some people even say you can see lights on a nightly basis.

@@nancyM1313-Boo there's an infamous one I believe from the late 80s where a woman was moved out her apt by grays taking her to a ship. Also, seems like there were some UN officials in a limo on the Brooklyn bridge who witnessed it, along with some others on the bridge who witnessed it.

Lancaster, Ca. A flying saucer flew over my house on W. Ave H-14 in 1996. It was just above the tree tops and just glided right over us like it was nothing. I still can't believe I saw what I saw.

Crap!!! I missed the opportunity to enter. Well in case you do another episode. Here goes. Revere MA 02151. Thanks! This is my favorite RUclips channel as of late! Ive been binge watching all of your past episodes . Crazy enough last summer , my girlfriend and I were on my porch in Revere MA, and we saw very bright star like object. It was changing shapes and morphing into stange shapes. I went and got my binoculars. Wow! It was really high... definitely in tye stratosphere... probably 60 -80,000 ft but bright and strangely made both of us suddenly feel like almost it could just us? Of course I would have been very skeptical of my story, so thats why i got my iPhone and filmed it r about 4 to 5 minutes straight. The footage is very compelling.. ... i have it if you would to see it. The following 2 days it was back... filmed it again.... when zooming in on the footage and slowing it down it was clearly a saucer like craft a greenish metallic color. With a dome n top... but the video in regular speed appears to shapeshift and try to mimic a star. It was mainly stationary as of movement. But keep it up we love your show! Hell ya! Best part of friday is the new stuff from Preston! I saw my 1st ufo in 1992 here in NE ohio. Totally clear night n seen it zig zag across the sky & thn take off way faster than any other craft in the night sky.
I lived and worked on the Guantanamo Bay Naval Base for four years. There were random reports of UFOs and USOs. There was also a lot of paranormal activity there. I experienced a haunting first hand, but few believed me.

Cool, great research as always. I now assume what I saw over Etna was Starlink, I'm off to the deep woods again, Aug 5 for some sky watching, OMG, moose, bears and mosquitos! YAY! Think I'll watch the sky on the beach by day and on live cams on WIFI by night. My latest insight is "they" have have a flexible contact program, you can go deep or stay shallow... Hmm?
Hello Preston, I can especially relate to this one since I live close enough to the Berkshires to get there occasionally. It's a beautiful part of New England with lots of forests and quaint artsy towns, such as Stockbridge and the famous Tanglewood music venue. The nearby October Mountain State Forest is reputed to be a Sasquatch hotspot. From what I can discern from NUFORC, it gets its fair share of UFO activity as well. Back in September of 2014, I assisted crop circle researcher Nancy Talbott with investigating a series of circles in corn (maize) in the town of Sheffield, Mass, the very same town (I believe) of the famous Reed case. Unfortunately for our investigation, the farmer had already cut down the corn field with the circles, but enough remained to see the direction of the lay and look for other evidence, such as blown out nodes, which we did find. It's not often that crop circles appear in New England, but I got into a few back when Nancy was able to do field research. The best was a thought bubble type formation in a tall hayfield outside of Augusta, Maine. The closest neighbor to the field witnessed several bright balls of light dancing above the field the night before the circles were discovered. I captured several odd light anomalies when photographing the circle after sunset. Looking forward to more from this series! Best wishes, Mark

But there was a man here who had simlar interest in the phenomenon. Unfortunately, he passed long ago. I only heard it from my mom. But I constnatly carry around my binoculars and I sometimes catch a few interesting things. Unfortunately, no humanoid encounters (yet).

I felt like they chose to see me.. thought it was astar at first until it started heading my way..my dad and i watched go anove our house. Ok I saw one in my home town when I was 13 or 14 years old in Kittanning PA. I have never heard ANYTHING about it. EVER! It was huge! Dwarfted our Citicens Bridge. (was used in the film, The Mouth Man Prophases) Good Luck finding anything. My Mother older sister and I all saw it at the same time. If you would like the story let me know.

Hi about 3 years ago I saw a big luminous ball of light in a canopy of a tall tree above a steep gorge in national park in Glenluce, Victoria, Australia. It didn’t light anything up around it. As I watched it from about 300 meters away, I then noticed something lit up above a hill, stationary in the air about 150 meters to the west. A year ago I decided to randomly google the terms Glenluce ufo Victoria...and was shocked to read of a sighting by a local of a ball of light under intelligent control in that exact spot in 1976. I got chills!
One day, when we lived in Cutler Ridge, FL in the mid 1960's, my father came home from work while I was playing outside. A few minutes later, he came out to see what I was up to. I pointed up at the aircraft and asked, "Is that a spacecraft?" My father and I were watching a flying saucer hovering above our neighborhood block. He wouldn't let me keep watching it, and ordered me to get back in the house. My father wouldn't discuss it with me. My dad was career Army. He knew things which we weren't privy to.

Did you ever hear of the “Bear Mountain UFO” in N.Y. State in 1967? I remember the pictures taken by witnesses appearing in The Daily News centerfold during the beginning of Summer.
Back in 2010, i was letting my dogs out for the last time, at about 11PM, something caught my eye coming from the south, i looked up, and i saw a turquoise light coming right toured me, it went over my head, and kept going north until it was out of sight. it was not moving very fast but as it went over i held out my arm, and my thumb just covered it, This happend in Fort Wayne Indiana.
I've seen UFO's all my life-daytime and night time sightings. The one and only day time sighting was when I was in elementary school, standing in the lunch line. My "hometown" is Lakewood, CA, elementary school Madison. So this would have been between 1979 earliest to 1982. I cannot remember what grade I was in. A fleet of nine small crafts flew over the playground, I left the lunch line running underneath them until I hit the fence. When I got home I drew them and stuck them on the fridge. A few hours later they showed them on the news channel flying towards or near the San Bernadino mountains. I have been unable to find that news clip or anything on them. There was a photo from Billy Meier of three small craft that resembled exactly what I saw. These flew in a "V" formation of nine. To this day I still wonder why I left the lunch line running after them. I could see one being in each-they were dark colored-almost like a shadow. No noise, were about 100 ft up, just slowly cruising. They were metallic grey, not shiny, but had a copperish colored ring or rim right around the cockpit area-which was not the open bubble top-it was only open in the front. It would be awesome if you could find that news video of the ufo fleet seen heading towards San Bernadino-cuz that is what I saw. 2nd day time sighting was in Grants Pass, Oregon. Actually I was driving & my daughter spotted it across the river. I pulled over to a complete stop to watch it. It was enormous-was tilted toward this side of a mountain-the mountain paled in comparison. It was spinning clockwise slowly. I think that was in the year 2000. About a year and half ago, while visiting my daughter-now a mom herself, I went to her bathroom & drew what I recalled seeing, folded it up, put it in my pocket. I went downstairs and asked her to draw what she recalled seeing. The drawings are incredibly similar, except in her child's mind she has equated the craft to a 'blimp' lol. Yet she is the one who pointed it out to me saying mom look a UFO! She was only 5 or 6 yrs old at the time too. It is hard for me to believe that other people have gone their entire lives never once having seen or experienced crafts. So when I listen to your stories, well at the very least I know that I am not alone!

In 1994 in Key West, Fl, while fishing with my daughter and a friend, saw a huge flying saucer hovering above us, no sound coming from it, it had intermittent lights that went around the saucer, I counted 19 on the side that was visible. After watching this craft for a while, I got scared and asked to pack up and go to the nearest hotel. Upon entering the room, I heard as if it was telepathy, "Don't hide we know where you are"
This was never discussed again, as I didn't want to scare my daughter, then 8 years old

The brief case you mentioned at 59:52 peaked my head up. The one about a UFO following somebody from Sacramento to Galt. Recently there's been a lot of local Sacramento chatter about sightings of strange lights over Galt, CA. Some people claim its a government drone base, and some people even say you can see lights on a nightly basis.

Crap!!! I missed the opportunity to enter. Well in case you do another episode. Here goes. Revere MA 02151. Thanks! This is my favorite RUclips channel as of late! Ive been binge watching all of your past episodes . Crazy enough last summer , my girlfriend and I were on my porch in Revere MA, and we saw very bright star like object. It was changing shapes and morphing into stange shapes. I went and got my binoculars. Wow! It was really high... definitely in tye stratosphere... probably 60 -80,000 ft but bright and strangely made both of us suddenly feel like almost it could just us? Of course I would have been very skeptical of my story, so thats why i got my iPhone and filmed it r about 4 to 5 minutes straight. The footage is very compelling.. ... i have it if you would to see it. The following 2 days it was back... filmed it again.... when zooming in on the footage and slowing it down it was clearly a saucer like craft a greenish metallic color. With a dome n top... but the video in regular speed appears to shapeshift and try to mimic a star. It was mainly stationary as of movement. But keep it up we love your show! I lived and worked on the Guantanamo Bay Naval Base for four years. There were random reports of UFOs and USOs. There was also a lot of paranormal activity there. I experienced a haunting first hand, but few believed me.

Hello Preston, I can especially relate to this one since I live close enough to the Berkshires to get there occasionally. It's a beautiful part of New England with lots of forests and quaint artsy towns, such as Stockbridge and the famous Tanglewood music venue. The nearby October Mountain State Forest is reputed to be a Sasquatch hotspot. From what I can discern from NUFORC, it gets its fair share of UFO activity as well.
Back in September of 2014, I assisted crop circle researcher Nancy Talbott with investigating a series of circles in corn (maize) in the town of Sheffield, Mass, the very same town (I believe) of the famous Reed case. Unfortunately for our investigation, the farmer had already cut down the corn field with the circles, but enough remained to see the direction of the lay and look for other evidence, such as blown out nodes, which we did find.
It's not often that crop circles appear in New England, but I got into a few back when Nancy was able to do field research. The best was a thought bubble type formation in a tall hayfield outside of Augusta, Maine. The closest neighbor to the field witnessed several bright balls of light dancing above the field the night before the circles were discovered. I captured several odd light anomalies when photographing the circle after sunset.

Hi about 3 years ago I saw a big luminous ball of light in a canopy of a tall tree above a steep gorge in national park in Glenluce, Victoria, Australia. It didn’t light anything up around it. As I watched it from about 300 meters away, I then noticed something lit up above a hill, stationary in the air about 150 meters to the west.
A year ago I decided to randomly google the terms Glenluce ufo Victoria...and was shocked to read of a sighting by a local of a ball of light under intelligent control in that exact spot in 1976. I got chills!

One day, when we lived in Cutler Ridge, FL in the mid 1960's, my father came home from work while I was playing outside.
A few minutes later, he came out to see what I was up to. I pointed up at the aircraft and asked, "Is that a spacecraft?"
My father and I were watching a flying saucer hovering above our neighborhood block.
He wouldn't let me keep watching it, and ordered me to get back in the house.
My father wouldn't discuss it with me.
My dad was career Army. He knew things which we weren't privy to.

Back in 2010, i was letting my dogs out for the last time, at about 11PM, something caught my eye coming from the south, i looked up, and i saw a turquoise light coming right toured me, it went over my head, and kept going north until it was out of sight. it was not moving very fast but as it went over i held out my arm, and my thumb just covered it, This happend in Fort Wayne Indiana.

I've seen UFO's all my life-daytime and night time sightings. The one and only day time sighting was when I was in elementary school, standing in the lunch line. My "hometown" is Lakewood, CA, elementary school Madison. So this would have been between 1979 earliest to 1982. I cannot remember what grade I was in. A fleet of nine small crafts flew over the playground, I left the lunch line running underneath them until I hit the fence. When I got home I drew them and stuck them on the fridge. A few hours later they showed them on the news channel flying towards or near the San Bernadino mountains. I have been unable to find that news clip or anything on them. There was a photo from Billy Meier of three small craft that resembled exactly what I saw. These flew in a "V" formation of nine. To this day I still wonder why I left the lunch line running after them. I could see one being in each-they were dark colored-almost like a shadow. No noise, were about 100 ft up, just slowly cruising. They were metallic grey, not shiny, but had a copperish colored ring or rim right around the cockpit area-which was not the open bubble top-it was only open in the front.
It would be awesome if you could find that news video of the ufo fleet seen heading towards San Bernadino-cuz that is what I saw.
2nd day time sighting was in Grants Pass, Oregon. Actually I was driving & my daughter spotted it across the river. I pulled over to a complete stop to watch it. It was enormous-was tilted toward this side of a mountain-the mountain paled in comparison. It was spinning clockwise slowly. I think that was in the year 2000. About a year and half ago, while visiting my daughter-now a mom herself, I went to her bathroom & drew what I recalled seeing, folded it up, put it in my pocket. I went downstairs and asked her to draw what she recalled seeing. The drawings are incredibly similar, except in her child's mind she has equated the craft to a 'blimp' lol. Yet she is the one who pointed it out to me saying mom look a UFO! She was only 5 or 6 yrs old at the time too.
It is hard for me to believe that other people have gone their entire lives never once having seen or experienced crafts. So when I listen to your stories, well at the very least I know that I am not alone!
