Have owned the Peerless Cremona for 2 years...it is hands down superior to the American G brand in every way! Great Video.
have owned a Monarch (16" model) for a few years now ...folks these guitars are fantastic...great quality workmanship and tone and esp. great value ...check out Matt Outten or Andreas Shultze (sp.?) for more Peerless Stuff
I have a Peerless Jazz City and totally agree Peerless make's guitars that rival the more expensive brands.
I own a Peerless Leela, which a prefer because it is 16", all the Peerless guitars I've tried sounded a played great. Sometimes I think about a pickup upgrade, not because I'm not happy with the original, but to see if it can sound even better. Thanks for reviewing!
I have a peerless monarch myself and i love that guitar. Peerless is such an underrated company...
i have peerles gigmaster jazz, i am just amazed how good that guitar actually is for just 900 euro. In my opinion best archtop in 1000 euro price range
With An 150 euros guitar from Korea and thomastik "swing" 0.12 on It, no need for a higher priced. But i was lucky...and IT has An piezo under the bridge !
Peerless Cremona 17 VC here...tops guitar
Great review!
Very nice guitar. Like an L4 only affordable.
very nice sound
Great sounding guitar.
I think this is the first video in the history of RUclips with no thumbs down...
Just give it some time....😄
nice work sir!
I'm curious, why not just buy an Epiphone for 1/3 of the price for essentially the same sound given the humbucker?
Definitely not the same sound...the humbucker is not the only element that determines the sound in a guitar.
Fair enough, it would be great to see a comparison so I can better understand the price difference. Cheers!@@RichieZellon
You can buy some of the old Peerless Epiphones. The Emperor comes to mind. They are lovely.
I have a Peerless Cremona VC 17, and a Joe Pass 2 Ephiphone, Peerless is far superior instrument in build and sound
Thanks for this great video Ritchie. Can you remember if the pickup was floating or fixed to the top ? Nice chops man !
Thx...I recall it was fixed but check the Peerless site to be sure...I've played so many guitars that I sometimes forget 😀
Any thoughts on either of the two Peerless Martin Taylor versions?
Hello Ritchie, what’s your experience with Sadowsky Archtops? I’m interested in the SS-15 but not sure if I should sink my money into it. Great jazz guitar instructional videos by the way!
Thanks...not familiar with the SS-15, although I love the Jim Hall Sadowsky.
Great picking and great guitar. I've got the Manhattan and love it!
Sounds great, but you could probably make a milk carton with rubber bands sound good :)
Wow!! Even though I am Korean, I didn't know that the guitar factory is still in Korea.
Are they outsourcing to China now?!? 🙄
Bet Joe Pass would have loved it!
Peerless Imperial
Your tone is very hard to beat ...with ANY guitar!
My Eastman AR503CE sounds better and is cheaper ..... looks better too
I have an Eastman ar605ce and a Peerles leela 40th anniversary, and I like the peerless better.
