1. Good on you staying true to yourself and putting out your honest reviews. It is appreciated.
2. As a follow up to point 1, the accessories do look promising, and good job finding the best of what seems like a sub-par product as a whole.
3. I enjoy seeing the ending gear and setup. I think it is good for newcomers as well when they are just starting and can see how well things can be done without having to break the bank.
I like the behind the scenes at the end. Too bad the mic was poor.
I like the changing mount! I am rocking my movo mic and loving it. Really stepping up my audio game
Nice! I am kinda surprised how well my Movo has held up.
@@TheCrowleyCrew my boom mic stand adapter should be in tomorrow 🤞 excited to give that a try
“Subscribe for less content like this” 🤣🤣 loving the setup rundown at the end.
😎
Definetly good idea with showing the set-up of video. Keep it up.
Honest reviews are always helpful, even for the product makers (hopefully).
At the end, your quick look at the setups used behind the camera was interesting to me, because we get to see (partly) how you got such nice looking video results!
Just a thought, if you plan to use the same setup over many videos, it might be worthwhile to do a separate video on your current favorite setup (or setups A, B, C, etc.) and add a link overlay near the end of each video, or simply among your affiliate links. Links about your other processes used like camera settings, computer edits, RUclips compression used, etc, might find some interest also. I believe you've already covered many of those topics already, so a few links might be enough. Just keep it fun for yourself.
Yes! The studio setup at the end was super nice, always interesting to see! Also sick lightsabers, idk if you had them before but this is the first time I notice them!
Thank you! I think I have had them in various places for over a year now.
Crowley, this is the type of video that I appreciate from you. There was a very sincere level of honesty in this video. You weren't trying to be like anyone else but yourself. Was definitely less Peter McKinnon/Matti Haapoja and more Crowley. Very informative. Thanks.
I hope I’m not this depressed normally, though I get what you mean. I want to make my videos genuine.
More behind the scenes please
Honest reviews are the most useful!
( Instead of hating on it... just give 'marks-out-of-ten' in various categories.... we'll understand! )
Nicely done, like the tour at the end. I have done similar on one of mine recently but like you was unsure if there is a benefit! 😎👍
Thanks for the update, I love your content
Thanks!
I think those videos that trush bad products are as usefull for us as the ones who praise the good ones. saludos amigo
I love how honest you ares. Sucks that the mic is poor. But great studio tour. Love your videos always
Thank you Violet!
Great honest review! Much respect!
Thank you!
Good audio behind the camera was something i struggled with using the Rode video micro. I switched to the Rode videomic pro plus and its tremendous. Although its even more directional (super cardioid) it picks up audio perfectly directly behind the mic as well. Its also $300 lol. Behind the scenes is cool i say keep doin it
😄 yeah. One day...when I have $300. Or maybe I should just go XLR.
Movo has been my go to budget mic for my M50. Way to be honest, and truthful!
Oh yeah I love that mic so much.
you did a great job... i like reviews.
I’ve saved so many hours and worry free nights about what to create and do by continually paying for my own things. I stay excited educated and engaged when I do the work. People ask why I don’t have negative reviews, it’s because I try not to buy things that are awful.
Hey, thanks for this vid.
I saw a lot of vids that says the microphone is decent fot the price, and I purchased it.
Thnx for honest opinion.
My friend, telling the truth is not being negative. Thank God you're honest. Truth is truth, not negative!
That's an interesting point about WIFI interference with microphones. Not something I considered before! Luckily the stuff I've been sent so far has been decent. I'm curious about the V-Mic D4 DUO with its split channel dual capsule setup, but I don't think I need another cardioid mic, lol. It appears to solve the front/back audio recording issue.
The BTS at the end is perfect!!!
Thanks!
Honest reviews are very hard to come by on RUclips. It's one of the things I am trying to do with my channel, but it's very difficult because honest reviews don't equal getting free review units. So that means I have to wait until I can spend my own money.
Yeah. But it isn’t good to compromise our brands for the sake of a $20 piece gear, or any gear for that matter.
Hi Job,
I know you probably have a pretty tight budget in buying products, but I would love to see a review on GoPro’s Hero 8 black. Just wanted to let you know that that’s something I’d enjoy! :) Also, great video.
Dude your videos are always such a huge help! I hope you can help me out with this problem I've been having. I currently use the M50 along with the Rode Videomicro. I have it on a boom arm stand and a 6ft extension cable to connect to my camera. I find it's very tough to get good audio, I'll hear some type of hissing when I'm reviewing it on my computer after I've filmed. I've put the audio setting to manual and lowered it down to get it into that db 12 range and it still does it. Hope you can help 😅 thanks
Have you tried a different extension? A low quality cord can do that.
Thanks for responding back 👌🏼 I've played around with it abit and it do believe it's possibly the cable aswell. Do you have any recommendations or which one you use?
Rode has a good one. The one I got isn’t sold any more I don’t think so I would go with the Rode if I was buying again.
yes show more!!
Explain the need for a rim light or other background light
Should make a video on that. In essence it is to separate you from the background and add depth.
Great update in it...honesty is good...missed ur videos bro...i will stick to my rode video micro
I like it! The whole vid!
Thank you!
Looks interesting, but i stick to my rode mics:)
Love the videos! What kind of post processing you do to the mic? Any help is appreciated. Much love from Mexico 🇲🇽
Finally... been updating my youtube for an hour now.
That was painful to watch.
It was painful to make.
It is good to be honest and give an honest review. We don’t mind. But if it upsets you so much, why put yourself in this position? Only you control this. I am sure you could resolve this without being so public. Mental health can get out of control through little things like this. This is your channel. You control.
Thanks. I know and I don’t want to let people’s desire for me to do gear videos to control me.
I hear you. Stay true to you and do what you want to do that makes you happy. I have loved some of your thought provoking videos. The world is too materialistic already. We dont need more gear. We need more thinking time.
nice lightsabers
*It's better to be honest! Haha*
Novel idea eh? 😆
