I stumbled upon your bread making today and it is so contrary to my sourdough bread making! I really like your spin on using the tortilla press and the griddle to make tortillas. I'll have to give the Cookie Scoop thing a try. Maybe someday you'll consider doing a show on sourdough and oil-free baking. I love your teaching ability, fantastic! Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for your help the other day... 5pm, too! First time to use the WonderMill & Zojirushi! It worked! My only error was cutting the loaf before it was room temperature, but it was fantastic! We're in love!! Thanks to you and your mom. 💗
Hey, am I supposed to leave the bread in the bread maker for any certain amount of time once it’s finished baking before I put it on a cooling rack? Thanks in advance…
Hi- you didnt share the entire double recipe for the tortillas!! Can you please share the measurings for the lecithian, salt and baking powder?? Thanks for these vids!!
i want to make the cinnamon rolls but am confused about when to roll out the dough. after kneading do i let it rise or go ahead and roll out? or knead then roll out. thanks!
I love your video. You packed a ton of information in one video. But please don't destroy the nutrition of what you've made from scratch by putting it in a microwave. Just use a toaster oven and preserve those nutrients. Also, did you know you can put links to what you mention in your videos in your description? That will generate more visits to your site, more sales, and make your videos show up in many more searches. At the very least, include at least one link to your website. See some of the larger video channels on RUclips for examples of what they include in every video. The WranglerStar channel is a good example.
Sue has a donut recipe, with a few variations, in her Essential Home-Ground Flour Book. You can find this book here, www.breadbeckers.com/store/pc/The-Essential-Home-Ground-Flour-Book-by-Sue-Becker-FREE-Media-Mail-Shipping-p3555.htm Hope this helps!
Thanks for asking. Have you watched our Getting Started Class? Sue shows how to make tortillas in this class, and it may be helpful. This one is available here, on RUclips, studio.ruclips.net/user/videoXKA-9REGJCQ/edit. Hope this helps.
Don’t you lose nutrients if you make these products ahead of time. (Ex. You mentioned making your muffins for the whole week on one day). ?? Just getting started with all of this, so hoping to find out! Want to retain as many nutrients as possible, yet can’t necessarily bake 7 days a week.
Hi! Im in the same boat as you :) I will typically make a big batch, depending on your family size a double or triple, and they will normally last for a week and we can eat on them through out the week :)
The nutrients are lost if the flour is left raw and ground. Once you bake the product, the nutritional loss is minimal. Once it is baked you just have to worry about mold and the bread going stale.
What I want to know is if we buy recipes is it going to give amounts for this tortilla recipe you are making or do you have to buy the mix. I use einkorn flour so I do not want to use mix.

Did I miss the tortilla dough measurements for the baking flour , salt and sit lecithin? I see others feel the same way. Your video was so detailed. Funny how that got missed.

You can let it rise once, then roll it out and let them rise again once they are formed.

I’m wanting to make doughnuts but I can’t find video on it? Do you need to let the basic dough recipe rise before you make them?

If you use dental floss to cut your roll you won’t squash them. They are also good with shredded in the filling also.
Great advise. Thanks for commenting!
I have had a terrible time making tortillas! Help! I bought the electronic tortilla making too! They are always hard
