once again i say , FIFA attracts me in every possible way apart from the gameplay.. watching it feels so satisfying, the presentation, the environment, player models, its authenticity.; it looks like the kind of game i will buy over and over again but only if it had PES gameplay, player individuality. sigh . i dont really care about the graphics if its menus and presentation is superb. its gameplay is just NOT what its like in real life.

wallpaperflembot i agree 100 % , but atleast pes comes closer and gives you a realistic simulation and it even feels better if you are a football player yourself and you know what it feels like to be on the pitch. so rewarding

Well the AI is broken in this year's PES,have to play on legend for the CPU to be a threat in my goal and it only ever score by spamming low crosses.
I always score if get through because the keeper doesn't come out to close the angle.
These issues can be tollerated in master league, but my favourite mode become a legend is literally unplayable with the AI in its current state.
Fifa doesn't have great AI but it's never broken to this extent
wallpaperflembot that is a problem this year ofcos..there is already a mod out to solve that.(see ttb previous posts). fifa, this year is spamming crosses and headers as well and its op. apart from these problems both games have, pes beats fifa in other areas of the gameplay.
Fifa looks quite colourful, however it still looks really dark though!

On PES the AI would have played the obvious through ball into Bale around 23 mins into the video and probably ended up scoring or getting a corner, This is the problem i had with FIFA, The AI would never punish you for bad defending. Moved to PES this year and I love it.
Got pes 2019 this year and I've found the opposite when the cpu is through on goal they normally won't take it on and shoot they will stop and look for a pass.
Also I never miss 1 on 1 with keeper on. Pes because the keeper never comes off line to close angel.

That's because in PES the defensive AI is atrocious. The defenders would've stood there and let you play the pass and your striker fly in to score. Konami need to sort it out!
The way players interact with the ball is just too unrealistic. First touch, the way they turn etc - it's like they are sliding on ice, not walking or running. Like always is with this game - just fifa 15.3.5.

How the hell you "understand" a football game demo? You just play it and see how it feels and turns to be. In my opinion, even though all license, the gameplay is a lame joke to football fans, the pitch really feels like ice with players sliding on it inevitably all time. The ball physics are ludicrous and feels as shooting a balloon would, likely. I can't take a game like this seriously when for me the most important thing is a game feels, to some extend, like real football.
Hah exactly - nobody has to "understand" some deeper meaning behind the fifa demo - it's there to see for everyone. And from what we all see from the TTB video is that it is unrealistic, as always is with this game - it has been all the same crappy body movements, elbow animations, head and neck pointing at different directions, players look like they are ice skating most of the time, perfect first touches etc. And let's not forget the ball physics in this game, shall we? :) So all this is not a matter of opinion - it is a fact.
I'm actually very surprised with thus game I was expecting just the normal fifa rubbish but the game is not bad at all with the game slowed down and some slider tweaks you have to say the game will be decent and that challenge was just amazing to watch at 10.25 it looked so good how Kompany did that

I already deleted the demo of fifa 19. The gamplay is so bad. I just can't believe how in earth this game can be so popular, when the gamplay is terrible. The ball physics is so bad, and the way the players run make you think this is a ice hockey game. Gamplay no good. Just cinematics, and licenses. And happy with PES 2019.

I played fifa too since fifa 14 till last year edition, but honestly never like it. I got it in the past just because of the premier league rights. But never enjoy the gamplay. Won't buy anymore. And my opinion is never as a fanboy. My opinion is base on the gamplay.

Honestly, I love PES and play offline only but the AI this year with the low cross spam amongst other stuff absolutely kills it for me. Played the FIFA 19 demo and actually enjoyed it, so will likely buy that and if PES doesn't get an AI patch I'll sell it.
said to say but exactly this. Servers are not working since the release and i love to play online aswell. Beside that the AI is shit in PES this year. They dont shoot from distance and always go trough the flanks and do a low cross. There is no difference because of this in tactics with every team. I dont feel the difference between Manchester city and Juventus for example since they always do the same shit. If pes fix this pes is the better game for me but for now pes is trash and unfinished :(

Players trying overhead kicks for about 30+% of crosses into the box is pretty annoying too, definitely an ai fault. I'm not sure whether Konami have done it to stop cross spamming, or whether they want more spectacular goals with overhead kicks. Whatever the reason it's obviously broken.

@@The_Dead_Zone in PES, the AI makes mistakes on higher levels of difficulty because the ball isn't glued to their feet. It's totally different in that regard.

Now when I have gotten used to the graphics and gameplay of PES 2019, FIFA 19 looks horrendous. The pitch graphics look like PES 2016-17 graphics, the ball looks like it glides in ice and the ball is glued on players feet.
I agree I tried playing the FIFA 19 demo for about 3 hours yesterday ended up switching it off and deleting the demo and going on PES it makes FIFA look horrible

The grass is looking much better, than the last year's PES (in 4K at least), but I agree with the rest.
It feels like if a right footed player runs with the ball, his left foot doesn't move as it should normally while on the ball. And the straight running looks good but when the players are running in angle they look weird. They fold their neck and their elbows are way behind their body. It looks unrealistic. Passing, shooting from unrealistic body positions(impossible in real life). Their ground passing isn't bad. It will look better if they improve the ball physics (which isn't great either). But the long or lobs,chips, crosses look horrendous. Need a total revamp. The change of sudden body direction is stupid. Even Spiderman can't do those direction changes. Their defence system is very good. And obviously the graphics, menus, presentation, commentary are incredible as always.
neo templar I think shooting still looks better in FIFA if you consider the angle of the foot and the spot they hit the ball the shots look realistic. In pes they hit the ball on the left side, but they shoot the ball straight. In pes you suddenly can never miss a ball completely like in fifa they go like 30m over the bar or dont even hit the ball. In pes the ball is like 5-7m away, but they suddenly never miss the target completely like it would happen in a real match

neo templar Thats right but in PES i feel like you cant score long range goals on superstar and legend difficulty. In Fifa you can score them very easily, but i think this is better than not beeing able to score any. Pes goalkeepers seem to be flying on higher diificulties which makes long range goals impossible.

Do this, after every little incident, think of what would happen in real life. Is this possible? Think of how many long range goals are scored in leagues like pl, la Liga in a full season? Not many. You can say if there are few they end up being in the highlights of best goals of the season. So, if you can score 2-3 those type of goals in one match, that's not ..........

neo templar Youre right. I am just a big fan of longshots and wasnt able to score one on superstar in like 30-40 matches. Its frustratin and I think thats not realistic. The goalkeepers even saved shots that would have gone over the top corners. They are a bit too good when it comes to saving. In fifa i score one nearly every game wich isnt realistic too. In fifa the goalkeepers are a bit weak but fifa has the sliders witch wich you can adjust them. But with the new timed finishing its a bit too easy to shoot the perfect longshot. I think both games need some more balancing when it comes to this point.
I've played the demo, that darkness is horrible again and it's annoying , gameplay is good, but its not realistic at all, when you play you don't feel it's a real game, presentation is great, but when the match starts you don't feel it's a cl atmosphere at all, graphicly pes is way better, and the gameplay too, if konami just fix the issues this fifa will not be even close imo

Pes the AI always hits Low Crosses and in Fifa the AI makes Pointless crosses even when theres no one in the Box.

Every team in Fifa can play like Pep Guardiola's Barcelona, and that's a major problem as well. The problem with both PES and FIFA is the AI doesn't dribble. Its all tikki takka. Hopefully sliders sort that out. Also how stupid of EA to not allow us to change pace of game on the demo?!
Bought PES but traded it in after a week. Yes, player physics and movement is very fluid, natural and realistic but what ruined it for me is that 9 times out of 10 the AI scored the same goal. AI takes the ball to the by line, plays it in to the near post, team mate then dinks the ball past the keeper to the far post. What about headers? What about shots into the roof of the net! What about daisy cutters along the ground? What about a shot to the near post, even? Nope, almost every goal the AI scores is a carbon copy of the one before. No variety. Will try FIFA.
All it takes to fix both these games. Is to employ people who know the beautiful game, rather than a bunch of accountants. Great vid, love your channel
Fifa 19 with sliders is a realistic simulation you can tweak everything about the gameplay from first touch error to how fast or slow you want to play , on very slow speed added sliders with reducing the pace and acceleration to 45 is slower than PES 19, PES hasn't this option .

I thought fifa 19 will be disappointing this year but when i played the demo it changed my mind completely and with UCL in it now thats my go to football game

I think this years Fifa is looking promising. You can't judge a game based off one or two matches. You have to get a feel for the game, and try it and give it time. I haven't got PES this year, based on the fact that the low cross spam, and ML being untouched. That doesn't mean I won't buy it, it may be fixed in a patch later on.
Fifa looks good, and some of the people on here need to stop defending PES like their life depends on it!

I'd set the difficulty again, it doesn't set first time on the Xbox Demo. The big overlay you set when you first enter the game doesn't work. Do it in settings if you can!
edit: Oh hell yeah, I've seen AI pulling a scorpion for clearing out from in front of me in PES and such extreme moves that blends into the gameplay and feels really smooth!
I really don't like the animations and how the players have no weight to them, they're just floaty compared to PES, in my eyes. What I appreciate about PES that its animations blend into each other so seamlessly, and wherever the ball goes - to the player - the player will have a good animation to take that ball, or to take an extra step to hit it with the better foot, while here in FIFA it seems that the scripts for movements/animations resets a lot more and changes abruptly... I don't think that I've managed to describe it properly, apologies for that, but I hope you get a bit of what I'm trying to say.
Just look up PES 19 game play and you'll see the difference of quality in animations and how much more planted and real like PES feels to FIFA.
PES makes me smile so much during a game in the demo... I like it so far but only will get it once it gets patched, like as the GK just wont leave his freaking box so a 1 on 1 is easy with a goalkeeper, and a few more things.
You made the demo look a lot better than when I played it. Probs because you didn't just ping the ball about. I like online play and I just can't even imagine how fast and tiki taka that will be... I think my eyeballs will just fallout.
FIFA wins this year for presentation as always but it looks like they spent far too much time on this - PES 2019 gameplay is simply far better, I'd say best way to look at it is PES is the ARMA/Miltary Sim and FIFA is the COD. I will still buy FIFA 19 as I want to play all these game modes but I will end up back on PES for the better gameplay.

The camera follows the ball much faster than in PES. I think it's a very important in the way you view both games.
Are you kidding? The camera in PES immediately jumps to where the ball is going, which does not happen in FIFA. How could the camera possibly follow the ball better in FIFA?
Also good thing about fifa if they see people moaning about the tiki taka they will patch it within days and you say about them.playing the wings when you look who they have on the wings man city had sane sterling marchez and madrid had bale and aseniso makes sense lol but then all you have to do when the full game is out go and tweak the settings for the teams will be good

when you watch fifa 19 others playing it looks like fifa 18 v.2 but when you play fifa 19 yourself it feels like whole new game.. touch system has improved. we can't win against ai easily like in previous fifas. it has improved. Both game are good. But didn't saw improvement on pes 2019 this year
Its all so easy to pick up and play for me seems really faster once you've played PES 19 which is more realistic speed and the ball physics in FIFA 19 is pants. Looks great plays naff in my opinion. And City would smash United LOL

I said I was going to be PES exclusive this year, but I may have to get Fifa too after playing the demo. I tried hard to dislike this game, but I see a lot of good things. And the addition of the CSL is huge for me as a fan of Asian football, while PES only has AFC CL & Thai League coming. I'll still play a lot of PES, for SPFL & Japan national team games for example. But Fifa always has this way to drag people to their game. I really love PES 2019, and yet Fifa will always dominate the market with these wee touches

Yeah I feel like EA mailed it in across the board on player faces this year, FIFA and Madden both have too many well known players that just don’t look like there real life counterparts.

I think you doing a fifa 19 career mode would be great. If you think PES is lacking this year and you want to play some Fifa then go for it. I love playing a road to glory on Fifa as i start from English League 2(Old 4th div). When your playing on your own the Fifa commentary is just like in real life, sadly Pes is shocking in this area. My top 5 things i love on FIFA 19 that Pes sadly lacks on 1.Skills 2.Proper road to glory 3.Commentary 4.Licenses 5.FUT online or offine.
They will obviously tone it down but in the 8 games I've played of the demo, headers are extremely overpowered. Pretty much all of them go in for a goal.
My view point is simple buy both and you can enjoy the best of both worlds!

I'd argue the exact opposite but I'm not wanting a row. It's all subjective. It's like looking at a VAR decision. We can argue all day and still see differently. They do both fail miserably often enough to get a few laughs. 😊
I've always felt the opposite, PESs collision system feels much more realistic and random.

@@niinii1234 That's true for both games. I never win penalties in either game. PES 14 and 15 were terrible and 16 wasn't much better. 17, 18 and 19 are very well done. I think collisions in PES are better than in FIFA though I would say they look awkward in both games. I'm a fan of both games, I just absolutely hate EA as a company. They have so much money and barely improve their game. It's frustrating buying a game year after year that you're a fan of and not seeing the kind of improvements you'd expect from a company that has so much money. I only play career mode, no online or ultimate team and there have been virtually no improvements to career mode since FIFA 13.
The gameplay man, it is just not what I like to play or to watch some play.Apart from gameplay everything is awesome, the presentation , the stadium atmosphere, commentary and all but for me , football game is all about gameplay so I am still sticking with PES. Will probably borrow this game from my friend to play the journey and that's it.

Yes there are. PES makes the game but they do not have all the licenses. PES Universe solves that issue because they create all of the licence jerseys to make it similar to fifa. Doesn't take long to install and is super easy. Very affordable too.

It's all about the fine details when it comes to presentation. Fifa has that in bundles but the gameplay is still weak.

Played the demo and liked it.
The nice thing about FIFA is that the gameplay sliders actually make a difference. You can drastically change the gameplay just by changing it to "slow" and adjusting the sliders. By doing this you can make the gameplay much more realistic. Also, Career Mode has surpassed Master League by leaps and bounds. I am not impressed with PES 2019 ML...It looks like it was made for Gameboy in 1998, just awful. I do like much of the PES gameplay this year, but ML is a failure and the presentation is awful.
EA just bought the UEFA champions, just a year ago. They added new commentaries , again, in just a year. And sounds great. Why Konami can’t fix their game commentary then? Why Konami? Why?

I own both games. I love authenticity and realism and i laugh at people who complain about both games : hello ea and konami made settings for you to tweak , set it on max difficulty put the passing to either semi or manual if you are hardcore put the shooting on semi 150% guaranteed the ping pong gameplay will be gone. Well thats how i maximize my $60 rather than complain on youtube or twitter when ea and konami dont give a fuck about its consumers
First and foremost, I am currently and always have been a Pro Evo fan! For someone to say FIFA 19 is a copy and paste of 18’ is absolute blasphemy. Yes, it is very fast football. But drop that to slow game speed and modify the sliders and you may have a very solid football game from EA. The AI and teammate AI are now college graduates instead of preschoolers in terms of intelligence on the pitch. Interceptions, picking up runs and holes on the line are all there. The attacking schemes are random and can be very lethal. At the moment, the demo is way ahead of our PES. I mean, we don’t even have an enjoyable game at the moment. The AI attacks in one way and one way only for EVERY TEAM!! No bias here, just observational opinion.
@T1lt3d I am a PES lover, mate. But FIFA got more realistic team movements than PES. U gotta give it to them. I hate FIFA coz of the poor physics and repetitive scoring. It's much harder and satisfying in PES. We gotta defend PES against these FIFA players. But we gotta be more honest

By the way there's a bug. You need to change the difficulty after the first game for it to take it seems. So world class is a good level. I draw 0-0 a lot on Xbox. I have to say as you're a PES fan. You see FIFA just looks way way better. In most aspects. PES isn't polished and the game faces look horrendous on unsponsored teams. FIFA has done more for years. Konami aren't great I'm afraid!

I was a pes player since ever but last year I start playing FIFA and I can't go back FIFA is fun to play I enjoy every match and that for me is everything! Pes is slow boring and I stress easily, I tested the 2019 demos and FIFA will be my choice
Xpertvision its funny because for me its just the other way around fifa is not fun at all for so many reasons.. this fifa19 demo is about as slow as pes2019.. but it misses al the realisme that pes brings to the table..when you score in pes your happy.. in fifa its just another goal.. fifa has the atmosphere/clean menu's and licencing.. nothing more then that imo. The gameplay in fifa19 is better then fifa18 but after pes2019 it just feels like a game made in 2015.. no space to be creative in fifa19 .. just ping pong, to many goals. Doesnt feel rewarding in any way.. not skill based.

One thing I would say look how the AI keepers are brilliant at least they come off their line and that is a Konami fail this year

I really dont get the REPLAY ANGLES of PES. That replay angle BEHIND THE GOAL. Wtfffffff. They should do it like pes on ps2. The television replay angle. You cant see SHIT FROM BEHIND THE GOAL
Also why can't the goalkeeper kick it past the halfway line out his hands, Ederson and De Gea can reach at least midway into the opposing half in real life, also why don't the centre backs split wide in possession teams especially on goal kicks and the full backs should go high, defensive mid should offer down the middle. It just doesn't represent how real football plays out.
The animations for the player models and the player models themselves in pes are much better than fifas.
The AI is about 10 years ahead of PES
Biggest reason why most play FIFA? They can fall back on so many things. Shit gameplay? Not so bad when you've got licenses, immersive atmosphere and way more stadiums. The commentary as well is miles ahead of FIFA. With Pro Evo, they're fucked if the gameplay isn't superb. They need to fix some glaring issues in the next patch.
Yeah love or hate it Presentation(SKY, BT etc) is a major part in football these days. Sadly playing PES is like watching it on ITV back in the day,LOL.
Ball physics are off here. Ball moves like a hockey puck moving on ice. No bobbles or bouncing. Passes are also all flat and arrow straight to each player. No player hits a pass that makes the ball bounce in any way. Weird and can't unsee.
