Hi everyone! This is my Darksiders 2 Finishing move compilation/montage. I hope you like it, because i spend 25 hours 0 minutes and 8 seconds to capture it. It would be an honor if you would appreciate my effort :P
The Argulas Tomb DLC was veeeery short. I´ve beaten it in 1:46 hours, so i don´t think i´ll buy the other DLC´s...

Hallo Leute! Dies ist meine Darksiders 2 Finishing move compilation/montage. I hoffe euch gefällt sie, denn ich habe mir in 25 Stunden den Arsch aufgerissen um die ganzen finisher aufnehmen zu können.
Das Arguls Grab DLC habe ich in 1:46 Stunden durchgespielt. Ich werd mir also den Rest der DLC´s nicht holen...
Ihr könnt mir ja mal sagen was euer Lieblingsfinisher ist! Haut einfach ein Kommentar raus!

Death's executions are both stylish and brutal.
I think it shows a clear difference in the personalities of the Horseman. War seems to kill in a way that's quick and effective to get what he needs quickly, with a tad of brutality, but Death always seems to kill in an almost artistic way. Like fatalities from MK. He makes sure they suffer.
@@kin4386 it’s his scythes. The way they Designed his primary weapon is close to if not perfect. So versatile quick and lethal. They can transform from her twin Sickles, to a full on double bladed scythe, to even using them as a boomerang. Plus death Utilizes His Primary weapon not only with such grace but with lethal purpose. Utilizing their power and his experience/ skill to their fullest. He is the most terrifying and lethal or the four horsemen and damn well he’s not afraid to show why. From throwing his scythes around like a boomerang or sawblades, to using them like a daggers or hooks to set up stylish and brutal executions that maximizes the amount of agony and pain that he deals to his foe the inevitable promise he Follows to whoever dumb enough to challenge him.

I think Death's executions are a clear example of his mastery of his powers. While War and Fury only use their Transformations as a last resort, Death had mastered quickly switching to his Reaper Form in order to swiftly gain the advantage.
Well said. Couldn't agree more. TBH I was disappointed that Fury didn't have any finishers but her hollows and combos made up for it ;)
Death grabbing his scythe instead of Absalom's hand was the biggest 'fuck you' ever
Kinda sad though at the same time since Absalom wasn't really a "bad guy". He got corrupted because he felt so betrayed by Death, his own brethren.
Death did the right thing though since the last bit of corruption would've surely taken Death as his host if he took the hand.
The best chapter in this game is when we're still with the maker, the first chapter, the atmosphere is just calming
Calming yes, Supermassive Mother of all Constructs trying to squash you with an enormous hammer, or shoot homing mines on your ass.

Yeah, Kratos may be violent and Masterchief brave, Asura very aggressive and Jojo very smart.
But, people, with Death we are on another level! No hesitations, no doubts, no regrets; yet, smooth combos, ultra-executions, splattish amputations. It doesn't matter how big or strong you are. Death is there for you, and you won't like it.
I LOVE asura but death is just "I have no time for this shit DIE "

I cannot stress enough that I love all of these, they're all super satisfying and the range from masterful artistry to disrespectful brutality in how Death takes down his enemies is just. Chef's kiss. I especially love that they establish right away with the whole interaction with Crowfather in the beginning and the way he kills him, that this is not just a reskin of the same guy we played as in the first game. This guy is unhinged and merciless, honor be damned.
But. 5:12. I could talk about this one in particular forever. Something about the choice to have Death in his ultimate form forego the use of weapons or magic and just *beat a lord of the dead into the fucking ground with his bare hands.*
There is SO MUCH ABOUT THAT I LOVE. It is so BARBARIC and UNNECESSARY and DISRESPECTFUL and BRUTAL and it says so much about Death as a person that he does that to a guy whose only crime was talking a bit of shit on him and wasting a couple hours of his time. I just eat it up.

Actually just one. I had scythes with a ~90% chance of execution
+Leo [STF1] Ahh ok. I suppose having 90% execution chance would make it pretty easy to do in one go. I don't hardly even remember doing any in my playthrough. It's like rare when you're given the chance in a normal playthrough.

No wonder i felt something missing in darksiders 3.
less finishing moves and not so epic like Death and War.
Yeah darksiders 3 is more about strategy and not stylish movements like the other games

@@silvey640 Agreed. Honestly I think the conter attack strategic style combat would suit war more. With Fury I wanted to see some carnage lots of splash, the more hp you lose the more damage and atack speed you gain kind of thing, she is fury after all. If you were to class them in simple terms I always saw War as a warrior, Death as a Rogue/assasin, Strife as a Ranger and Fury as a Berserker.
My favorite finisher is the demon one where you slash his leg than climb on top of him and stick the two attached scythes through his chest.
They should release an enhanced edition of Darksiders 3 with some tweaks, including the additions of these beautifully animated executions (on bosses too).
Oh and Darksiders 4 with Strife
This game is like a mixture God of War and Dante’s Inferno...

i was wondering about that too, but apparently not. My execution rate was too damn high to miss a finisher, so I think he just doesn´t have any

Those aren’t legs, that’s the bottom of his scythes handle.
@@custommediacreations I dunno, I don't think his scythe should reach the floor like that. I prefer to think he has twig legs because it's funnier.
@@BlorbHunter it is pretty funny, I had to analyse it twice before I realised exactly what it was. It would be pretty funny, because this big menacing Reaper form would have these tiny little legs to carry his ominous form.
Is there a way to do finishing moves all the time. Because it takes a while to build a weapon with execution chance.
Darksiders 2 gibt's oft genug bei Steam im Angebot, da könntest du dir den Season Pass (also die beiden anderen DLCs + ne Rüstung, die es sonst nirgends gibt) holen. Wären dann je nach Angebot um die 4-6€. Sie sind zwar nicht super lang aber doch gut gemacht und nicht einfach so dahingerotzt. Mir haben sie jedenfalls alle 3 gefallen.

das kommt auf deine Exekutionschance an. Ich hatte z.B. 68 % Exekutionschance. Je nach Ausrüstung kann das variieren

I don´t know the exact name anymore, but I upgraded the scythes to get the highest possibility for an execution. I think the scythes got arount 90% chances of an execution^^

this guy can execute but when he executes with reaper form i feel that he is weak and needs to power up himself to reap enemies
So he actually isn't allowed to use his normal weapon or full power, by the Charred Council's rules. Technically in order for him to reap souls, he needs their permission. The entire game's story was done without their permission, so he really only used it when he absolutely had to. Otherwise they would have known. He was a smith, and he kept the most powerful of his creations for himself.

@@ScreamingInSong it's not that the council will "know" he's using his power. The council deprived him of his power so wherever he is he can't use it at full power for example if you notice in the video when he uses his Reaper form he usually jumps high before transforming that's because his flight power is limited because of the council and even the time he can stay in that form is limited it's temporary

starwars i love this video but i have 2 things to say 1: i cant get finishers ;c my scythes one shot everything, so does my hammer xD and 2: what was that giant flame thing that fell into the lava!? i have not seen it and how do i get to it?

It has been years since I played Darksider 2 :D
Since this comment is two years old, you maybe know this by now, but if not, here are your answers.
The giant flame "bird" is Bheithir, one of the side quest bosses, you have to slay for Thane.
After getting the deathgrip, you must go to this little mini-dungeon between the main-overworld and the Lost Temple (you know, the mini-dungeon, where you first ride a construct.) There you have to go to the lowest floor, where you see a giant cave with only a small plattform in the middle with Bheithir flying around it. Access it with the death grip and wait for the boss to fly over, to start the fight.
And the crown of the dead is a quest item you get by defeating the Soul Arbiter, who hides in a ten floor-deep labyrinth with fights in any room, so you have to need some patience (and a guide, if you don`t want to look for all the in-game hintscrools for the labyrinth.) It increases the gold you get from enemies significantly, but taht is pretty much about it.

bro even I got one question for you...there's a scythe which has glowing green dot lights on it( almost like demon renders but has green lights ) and has a small bat's wing in the tip of it...it's not shown in this video but I'm sick of finding it's name...if you know, please help me🙏🙏🙏
