The buzzsaw sound of the 4 x CFMs must be by far the best sound I have heard. Glad that my National Airline, Air Mauritius operated 6 of them for some 22 years.
Gone but will NEVER BE FORGOTTEN...
Lufthansa still uses them in daily service! (also reactivated some A340-600!)
But since the B787-9 deliveries are starting, it's days are probably numbered...
I have great memories with the A340s myself, I have been flying in them for my whole childhood.
Just took a similar flight yesterday. Really showed the features of the seat

I don't know where your home country is at, but I like the way the ground crew bowed they show respect something we in the west are missing. Great video.
Thanks! I am from Japan, and I think it is something unique to that country, as I have never seen it somewhere else. Maybe in Asia, I'll definitely check the next time I take a flight.

Der Lufthansa-Flug, den ich am meisten genommen habe, war A340-300, weil der Direktflug von Frankfurt nach meiner Heimatstadt ist. A340-300 gefällt mir sehr, sehr stabil, komfortabel und ruhig, troz alt.
Ich glaube die meisten Flüge mit Lufthansa sind auf der 744,sowohl FRA-HND als auch FRA-KIX waren meine Routen :D
Did you get only simple earplug headphones ?
What do you mean? The headphones are the same as in Economy Class, which in this case means cheap plastic "on-ear" headphones. I don't use them because my ears hurt after onr hour of wearing them...
STRFlyer You got me right. I will make sure I gear up for my flight. I usually fly Finnair and they offer nice noise cancelling overhear headphones in economy premium.
Ich mache den gleichen Flug FFM-NGO im September und frage mich ob sich der Aufschlag von 700€ ggü. Eco (Return) lohnt. Eco LH auf Langstrecke soll für große Leute ja die Hölle sein....
350 Euro pro Weg wäre für mich an der Grenze, allerdings bin ich auch nicht so groß. Der Rückflug ist ja ein kompletter Tagflug, da ist die PE sicherlich komfortabler.
Ich würde aber nicht die Bulkhead-Sitze nehmen wie ich im Video, da die haben weniger Platz für die Füße haben.
@@STRFlyer99 Ich werde noch ein paar Wochen warten, vlt. fallen die Preise wegen dem Coronavirus. Das könnte auch in die Hose gehen, falls die Lufthansa Flüge nach JPN streicht...
