Yeah, i do listen to other bands songs. But never as many as a7x's songs. Probably i just listen to 3 or 4 songs from other bands, but i listening to almost every single a7x's songs.

It's not connected to the rev considering the song written by Avenged sevenfold including the rev himself and the song talks about their great life that passed away.
I mean, it's connected to him, not to his death. This song was written, played and released before he died tho, way before, it's from their 2nd album "Waking The Fallen". The Rev died when they were focused on the writing of their 5th album "Nightmare".

This is a classic, waking the fallen and city of evil are perfect metal albums in my book. Waking the fallen is when I got into the band so that probably plays a part in my love for those. Will never get sick of them. Waking the fallen the album with this song is their second album, last album where shadows screamed like this. So this was 03/04 when the main members were all still alive and well and these are shadows lyrics about I assume some relationship but unrelated to the Rev. Anyway nice reaction
My favorite albums even their first album sounding the seventh trumpet has some good tracks.

I think this song might be connected to either their former bassist or guitarist ( Justin sane and daemon ash) I forget which but pretty sure one of them committed suicide, I know that “ I won’t see you tonight” parts 1&2 are also about that person though so it may just be lingering emotion put into a song

That album has raw screams all over 😁 i personally don't really like the album because of the overscreams of it, but i give it a try from times to times, because A7X is my favorite band for a long time now. It's really hard to deslike a song from them. So it's easier to say which ones you don't like than naming all of their spectacular ones

@@-raingod STST is just too much screamness. WTF has a lot too but not its entire songs. I like the mix of scream and normal voice, but STST has screams from start to end, except one song, warmness on the soul, i like it
@@GiJ0MaN Sorry but you are wrong. The ONLY song that has screams from start to end is breaking their hold which is also like a one minute song. All the other songs except lips of deceit of which the screaming is with the singing, they all have singing bridges but you never heard them cause you never listened to them all the way to the end. STST is a mix of both. Please listen to the songs all the way before making a statement assuming.

Hey hey hey, you guys should watch the breakdown of A little peace of heaven. It’s basically them explaining the process they went through to make the song. You can find it but looking up on RUclips “a little piece of heaven avenged sevenfold breakdown” I actually have watched that video like at least 8 times…. I dunno why but I find that video comforting somehow 👍👍
Just as a side note, the ex-drummer of Dream Theater, Mike Portnoy, was asked by Avenged Sevenfold to play drums on the Nightmare album. This happened after The Rev died from a drug overdose. Mike Portnoy was The Rev's drumming idol. You really should check out Dream Theater for yourself to see just how SICK these prog metal musicians are. I recommend The Glass Prison from Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence by Dream Theater (studio not live).

You can't imagine how hyped i am for it. It's been a long time since they release new songs. Their last true album was back in 2016, it will make 6 years in this summer. Diamonds In The Rough was cool tho but i want something really new and some live concerts too
Can’t wait to hear what they do next, similar to the stage it’ll probably sound like nothing they’ve ever done before, love how they keep evolving and it keeps me excited for every new release from them. Also can’t wait to hear more Brooks on drums because the stage had glorious drums.
@@puppetmaster8551 idk if they will do something that different or if they will go back to their origins. I think i've read something somewhere about their new album having similar vibes of Waking The Fallen. WTF is their best album for me, so I'm really hyped to hear it 😁
@@GiJ0MaN M shadows clearly said that it sounds nothing like the stage. He also said that new album is very psychedelic and jazz inspired. He also mentioned that new album is different kind of City of evil type of energy/thing. As far as the lyrical/theme of the record is concerned, the album will be focused on more "Human" aspect. The stage was about transhumanism but new album will have themes like struggles of life etc

M.Shadows vocals were so much better imo back then. Wasn't trying to imitate Axl Rose. I really can't take all the nasally whines in the new material. Saw them live back in 03/04 and the energy was just insane.
