I feel like there are so many emotions behind why Marcus said what they did was a mistake. He gave her a way out because he felt he didn't deserve her. He thought she would be happier with Hunter, and just wanted her to be as happy as possible, even if he would have to suffer.
When she ran away, she should’ve just told him. He might try to stop her, but at least he’d know. She had to run away from her mom, I know, but Marcus is understanding, he wouldn’t be like Hunter, who’d most likely discourage her from leaving. Marcus would’ve gone with her, or at the least he would understand and try to help her.

i think it's because it was going on behind her back. i know that when it happened the 1st time, she wasn't friends with Max nor was she with Hunter, but i feel that she could've at least told her and resolved the issue rather than keeping it behind her back. i know that it shouldn't be a "big deal", but it probably made her a bit uncomfortable and betrayed that Ginny didn't bring this up and let it happen twice. she might've stopped it at times, but it doesn't excuse the fact that she did it the second time while being friends with Max. Furthermore, Abby knew this happened, but avoided telling Max because of her break-up with Sophie to protect her from adding more negativity from what she's going through already and this probably made the situation worse. Ginny is not a bad person, she made mistakes, but no one should be hating on Hunter or Marcus. this was her first time having real friends and it could be hard for her to fully except her feelings and do the right thing which would be: letting her friend know and her partner know how she feels about another guy, not last minute. she was in the moment which is almost impossible to do it through stress revolving around hee family issues and relationships

After having finished the season i feel like she didn't deserve him. It was clear from the beginning that he liked her, he was a virgin and is there for her the whole time. She hurt him many times with remarks about Hunter and stuff, she was like playing with his feelings and never asked about him, like he always cared for her feelings and stuff.

I do agree with you but him with Padma was a pre low blow to begin with. And I feel added fuel to her fire to utilize hunter all the same. While he was dumb enough to keep stringing along Padma too. I was really proud of him when he did decide to end things with Padma and realized what he actually wanted before she could.. But then it was a total dumb, young guy move for him to call it a mistake like that in front of everyone. Ginny was harsh and extreme, at the end with him.. Especially. Considering how their relationship had grown on the low. I am definitely more team Marcus than Ginny. But I can see why each went the way they did. They both had dumb moments but you also need to factor in, these are high school kids. And all high school kids are like that. Too.
I only think if he would have been clear about her from the beginning she wouldnt have gone for Hunter. So it was his fault to complicate everything at the beginning. But still she develops a very annoying selfish attitude, she is definitely into Marcus but still makes hopes for Hunter. In the end I like Marcus more and she is soo annoying

She was more worried about having a boyfriend than about who that would be. Hunter wanted to be her boyfriend from the jump, with zero chemistry... Only thing he can do is grand gestures to an almost unknown person. Marcus had to process that actually maybe he wanted a relationship, and Ginny didn't expect it to come true.
Ginny was selfish. She constantly blamed others for her mistakes and could never just acknowledge her faults. She was rude even when people didn't deserve it. Like saying Hunter didn't have it as bad as she did, and Marcus was a loser. She expects forgiveness but won't do the same for others. She did both hunter and Marcus wrong.

i think it's because it was going on behind her back. i know that when it happened the 1st time, she wasn't friends with Max nor was she with Hunter, but i feel that she could've at least told her and resolved the issue rather than keeping it behind her back. i know that it shouldn't be a "big deal", but it probably made her a bit uncomfortable and betrayed that Ginny didn't bring this up and let it happen twice. she might've stopped it at times, but it doesn't excuse the fact that she did it the second time while being friends with Max. Furthermore, Abby knew this happened, but avoided telling Max because of her break-up with Sophie to protect her from adding more negativity from what she's going through already and this probably made the situation worse. Ginny is not a bad person, she made mistakes, but no one should be hating on Hunter or Marcus. this was her first time having real friends and it could be hard for her to fully except her feelings and do the right thing which would be: letting her friend know and her partner know how she feels about another guy, not last minute. she was in the moment which is almost impossible to do it through stress revolving around hee family issues and relationships

After having finished the season i feel like she didn't deserve him. It was clear from the beginning that he liked her, he was a virgin and is there for her the whole time. She hurt him many times with remarks about Hunter and stuff, she was like playing with his feelings and never asked about him, like he always cared for her feelings and stuff.

I do agree with you but him with Padma was a pre low blow to begin with. And I feel added fuel to her fire to utilize hunter all the same. While he was dumb enough to keep stringing along Padma too. I was really proud of him when he did decide to end things with Padma and realized what he actually wanted before she could.. But then it was a total dumb, young guy move for him to call it a mistake like that in front of everyone.
Ginny was harsh and extreme, at the end with him.. Especially. Considering how their relationship had grown on the low.
I am definitely more team Marcus than Ginny. But I can see why each went the way they did. They both had dumb moments but you also need to factor in, these are high school kids. And all high school kids are like that. Too.
I only think if he would have been clear about her from the beginning she wouldnt have gone for Hunter. So it was his fault to complicate everything at the beginning. But still she develops a very annoying selfish attitude, she is definitely into Marcus but still makes hopes for Hunter. In the end I like Marcus more and she is soo annoying

Only thing he can do is grand gestures to an almost unknown person. Marcus had to process that actually maybe he wanted a relationship, and Ginny didn't expect it to come true.

Ginny was selfish. She constantly blamed others for her mistakes and could never just acknowledge her faults. She was rude even when people didn't deserve it. Like saying Hunter didn't have it as bad as she did, and Marcus was a loser. She expects forgiveness but won't do the same for others. She did both hunter and Marcus wrong.
I don’t think Ginny ever technically cheated on Hunter anyways. The first time they hooked up, hunter and her weren’t together yet. The second time, they already fell out. I mean ig you can call the texts cheating if you want to but 🤷🏾♀️ cause it was just sexual talk. Not proffessing love
Also her attitude with her mother. The wholeee show it was just horrible. It’s justified considering all the lies, but the way it was written makes the mothers actions minuscule and undeserving of the hate/Attitude from Ginny. They really played up the grumpy teenage daughter and yet not a single one of her friends said she was treating her mother really badly? Idk, that needs to be fixed imo too
