7 coats of base material is bad. The amount of time for application and flash off plus the cost of material consumption. Need stronger tinters or better formula, or both. And every paint gun is different, saying how you set your gun is poor information, please tell me what I'm looking for in type of spray pattern, wetter pattern? Dryer pattern? Sightly over atomized? Sightly under atomized? I can take 3 guns all with different brands and different fluid tips and set at 1 turn out line your showing, and every gun will atomize differently. So disappointed with this informational video, felt like I got nothing it off it besides the fact that sikkens has a hard time matching it. Might not be the nicest thing that I said, but I'm just trying to be bluntly honest. And honestly this needs to be better, competitors out there, like the big 2 axalta cromax and PPG, have less material usage with faster results equaling better profits on this colour. Sikkens needs to step up their game pain and simple.
