We went in 2017 for her 13th bday bc she’s obsessed with Japan and Anime. Love all the tips and packing inspo! So fun! We’re also in Los Angeles. I discovered aDaiso store in Hollywood and love variety of cute things. I'm 64 and squeal like a school girl at some of the cute designs. Love the chestnuts they carry near checkout. Will look for the strawberry drink and chips.😊

I use the twin star cream case for my meds. I have a black hello kitty hair clip but i think its more for thin hair types than my thick hair 😢 The make up brush cleaner is one of my holy grails! Lol it cleans my brushes so well ✨ The rilakkuma candy.. i recently tried it! I got it at a japanese store in Gardena. Its so yummy! ❤ I wish they can send more sanrio items to the daisos here in the US. Like i would use the heck out of that guda pen 😂 and the nail polishes!

My mom lives about ten minutes from the nearest Daiso in Southern California. I don’t have a Daiso in my town north of L.A., so when I visit her, I definitely go to that Daiso. And I’ve been to two Daiso stores in San Francisco, it seems like the one in Japantown is bigger. My hubby and I are going to San Diego next week, I hope to find a Daiso there and some other unique local shops. 😁
I'm glad you found heaps of sanrio stuff...at the DAISO shops in Melbourne, Australia, I was disappointed that there were no sanrio products...lots of other stickers and stuff, but I really wanted some sanrio items as well...

At my local Daiso, I'd buy the flavors that I can't buy at my local "Western" grocery store. But but you guys have Haribol! Speaking of Haribol, they are quite popular with kids. They don't seem to care much for twizzlers but when we had Haribol as the special of the week, kids were like meeee want!

Love Sanrio. I purposely drove all the way to Torrance to check out what they had at Sanrio. They were quite pricey to be honest. I am hoping to see more Sanrio items at Daiso on my next visit. I am so looking forward to visiting Miniso. I’ve not been to that store for quite sometime since they closed the Lakewood store. Have you gone to the Cerritos Miniso? I’ve never gone to that location so I don’t know where to find the store.
