Doesn't Premiere already have features to remove silences and fix audio as well without paying extra?

I've used Gling. it does technically work and those wondering what the differences are from premiere's transcript removing pauses feature, I'll tell you. Gling has the ability to remove "bad takes" so it can recognize when the subject or speaker messes up or flubs a line and starts over from the previous sentence. However, I found this to be frustrating. You have to trust that it made perfect cuts and didn't take out little quippy things the speaker did that they wanted in the video or if you're like my boss, not starting over from a logical sentence they messed up and instead starting over in the middle of it hoping I can cut it together well. Gling works but you have to be okay with the end product it gives you and if you're not you CAN still fix it but you're gonna spend just as much time double checking gling as you would rough cutting a video manually yourself. For that reason I decided not to move forward with gling. However it is true you get one free video to start with so it's worth trying to see if you like it!

Thanks! That is what I thought. I get 80% of the benefit from 0% of the price using Text based editing and AI audio enhance built right into Premiere Pro.
I mean, some people complain about the cost of Creative Cloud, yet they will spend $10 to $15/month for these kind of a la carte one-off tools?
Steve Jobs got it right "It is a feature, not a product". In a short time, most of these AI niche tools/companies will either be absorbed into mainstream products or simply out of business when all the existing big companies crush them.
I mean, NLE editing is only a few companies - Adobe, FCP, DaVinci, Avid - that covers almost all the market. The rest are freebie editors and niche stuff. All the big NLE companies are cranking out AI stuff now for no extra cost (mostly).

I dont like when you only get 10 hours of footage per Month and need to pay a extra additional charge of $0.04 per minute will be incurred, equivalent to $2 per hour. (applicable only for monthly subscription)

While my editing does not involve this kinda cutting. This is perfect use of AI!
it cuts out something annoying and luckily the tool doesn't fully automate it, it just high lights things to show: "Do you want to cut this?"
