Your mixes are my front room’s new best friend. (Sorry we’re late to the party.)

Your're really good man! Thanks so much for sharing. Just getting into dubstep in my forties. :-D
Nice smooth transerdental mix
Here from r/leaves, this is actually pretty good.
Top set be good to get the track list if you made a note of it? ID @20mins especially 🙌🏼
Hey, thank you so much! Tracklist is in the description, that tune is Sigha - Shake
@@padawansound6423 should have looked there first 🙄 thanks 🙏🏽
Nice mix man
Hey! What do you think of the mixer? I'm thinking of buying one. Also how did you record the output from the mixer?
David Hogberg I love it! Really solid, no effects tho if that's what you're after. It's about 130 quid, which is really decent for the quality. It outputs via USB, which makes recording really easy (also why I bought it). I just plug it straight into my computer and record audio using Audacity
How do the filters work on this mixer? Are they filtering as they should? I owe a djm700. But id sell it and get the m6 and save the left over.
No filters! No effects of any kind as far as I can tell, just EQs
@@padawansound6423 i mean. Do the filter really kill the frequencies, when you use the filters.
By filters i mean the frequency rotary knobs high mid and low.
@@resources1382 Oh right - I haven't used the mixer in a little while but if I recall, it does the job without any issues. It's just a solid, decent mixer, main reason I bought it is the USB out makes recording super simple and clean
is making music on that thing you are using easier then making music using a tool on a computer? like a beats maker, im really new at this and im interested
He isn't producing, just mixing.
Yeah, I'm not creating any music, just blending different records together
What they're saying is, it's easier to make music using a computer.
Not necessarily, I can't produce for toffee haha
hey man, do you use one ear on the headphone and the other one you listen to the monitors?
I do indeed
Nice! Your make very tight transitions! Could you explain how you work? I would like to learn!
Haha, thanks very much! It's a bit difficult to explain in a RUclips comment, much easier to demonstrate. I'm sure if you look up a video explaining how to mix vinyl, you should definitely find something that answers your question. Other than the basics, it's just knowing the tunes well and practice practice practice.
I do spin vinyl myself, but I find it hard to detect which track moves slower or faster. also, do you keep your headphones on at the transition?
It really depends on the mix, sometimes I take them off to see how they're working together, but they never stay far from my head. it really changes from moment to moment. Again, detecting which track moves slower or faster will come with time - it really is just knowing the tracks and developing an ear for it through practice. But yes, to be honest, it's much easier to distinguish between the tracks if you have have the headphones on! Also, for a bit of additional practical advice - learning how to balance having a bit of the master in the headphones really helps as well. So yeah, bsaically being able to hear the track that's currently playing out loud in your headphones a little bit as well, most mixers will let you control how much of a blend of the two tracks you can hear in the headphones, which maybe gives you a bit more control. Again, depends on the mix.
Trak id 29:00?
Martinez - Consolidation (Sylphe Lydløs Dub)
