I watched the Last pre season game yesterday between the Spurs and the Rockets and watching Dejounty Murray play literally makes me sick. He can’t shoot, can’t pass, horrible from the 3 point line, and he is a turnover machine. When the Spurs drafted him in 2016 they said he was a steal with the 29th pick and that he was going to be a superstar. The Spurs were so in love with him that they even sent Tony Parker to the bench and made him the starting point guard.Well, here we are 4 going on 5 years later and he has turned out to be a total bust. With Dejounty Murray as the starting point guard the Spurs are headed straight to the lottery. You could forget about the playoffs. That is never going to happen with him running the point

The Spurs won 5 rings/championships with 4 future hall of famers. David Robinson, Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, and Manu. The current Spurs roster doesn’t have not even one hall of famer. Hell, they don’t even have an all star on the team. With Dejounty Murray running the point the Spurs are headed straight to the lottery. Next year’s draft is going to be a very deep and talented draft. Who knows, the Spurs might find the next Spurs hall of famer in next year’s lottery.

Big comeback from what? Was he a star before he got hurt? Was he putting up all-star numbers before he got hurt? Was he a top 5 point guard before he got hurt? Not hating in him because I don't really know him and I like the Spurs but the dude hasn't really done anything significant in the league to be making a "BIG" comeback.

in 21 minutes he was 5th in defensive rating, 5th in steal percentage, 6th in defensive +/- and was all defensive 2nd team. his scoring is something fans are hoping to go up in.
he also an athletic 6'6 versatile guard that plays with intensity (averaged 6 boards in 21). he plays for coach pop and we all know what pop can do.

I am a diehard Spurs fan and I must agree with you. As of right now Murray has not proven anything everyone needs to pump the breaks. But I truly hope he has a great year and become a star.
