Oh boy! It's been over 10 months since we last played a game that even the Legendary tag wasn't enough to describe! Get ready as XlorD and I are about to engage in a [MYTHICAL] battle!
I'm still amazed by how professional players can know exactly when to move your hero away before the last hit to kill it to keep the hero in battlefield as long as possible. Both of you and Xlord did several times this game.
It is genuinely crazy how UD triple heroes with a few key items and some statues can LITERALLY go toe-to-toe with a 60 pop army. That DR at the end going through 5 health bars and living to tell the tale thanks to coil was outrageous! XlorD could have easily snatched victory from a lesser player.
TC level 6 is just so insane! He's just this big bruiser sitting in the middle of the opponent stunning for fun and can't even be focused down cuz you have to kill him twice lmao
Grubs, considering that I don't play Orc (human player here), it was not as easy for me to relate to how hard it was for you to win this game. With that being said, I felt like I am watching a freaking masterpiece. From the beginning, everything was so intense and it just kept getting more and more intense. It was like listening to a Mozart music being created or watching a Messi/Ronaldo game when either one of them was having a good day and they made the difference in a really difficult football game. There were countless amazing/beatuiful micro moments in the game (my favourite one should be the one starting at about 43:58 for the DK hunt/surround. The fact that your FS was left at 17 HP after that made it that much more beatiful). The macro decisions were incredible as well even though I am not as good as to judge them so I can't really appreciate them as much. Still, just watching you reaction at the end of the game says enough about how intense the whole game was. Don't really know how else to call this game but a freaking - Masterpiece.

Absolutely bonkers game...had me so hyped, excited & stressed the entire time toward the end I didn't even dare look at the timer, it was so close with that damned DK with seemingly neverending coils. But still even though I for sure though it was over several times Grubby somehow came out on top, what a beast man...Grubby ftw!
25:35 kinda funny how that chain lighting looked like it actually healed the fiends there instead of killing them LOL PD: dude, this game was awesome, that almost infinite mana on DK and high lvl UD heroes were a 3 man army! Dude, you are a hero for winning this! Sick Game!
@@nickl1768 I think it was actually a heal scroll and then a death coil. A statue doesn't heal that much at once, and you can see that units not near the statue got healed too. Although I guess the statue contributed a little bit too
@@bryansweeney3077 yea, it does look like it was a heal scroll. I didn't see the health of multiple fiends recover when I watched this a long time ago. The one fiend that Grubby was targeting was obviously death coil, but multiple fiends were healed so it must've been a scroll.
Warcraft 3 was my first video game at 8 years old. I didnt play it like you play it at all, but it made warcraft stay with me for a very long time. I got into WoW at 11, I'm 25 now. Even though we played this game very different, I enjoy your chillness and skill a lot, and I'm happy to be subbed to this channel
I saw crota casting this game around a week ago. I wonder why grub took so long to upload this one. It was very high quality long game back and forth. Ggwp grub. U nvr cease to amaze us all.thanks a lot. It was a treat. Tc9, fs9, despite of the absence of sh,(hex n heal wave) u still manage to beat tri hero undead. Just amazing.. Shud sh being trained, i think the lvl would be 7tc, 6fs, 5sh maybe?.. Just a guess haha
Having TC 6+ allowed Grubby to play much more aggressively, despite having 1 less hero. Even though Xlord had an extra hero, he couldn't get as much use out of it, because Grubby always kept Far Seer safe and back, forcing enemy to constantly try to focus his army units, which Grubby manouvered out of battle as needed and covered retreat with TC over and over again. Eventually the pressure was too much for undead, so he tried one last knockout blow, but wasn't enough.
When Grubby killed the DK around the 44 minute mark, and then instinctively pulled the Far Seer away JUST IN TIME so it escaped with 16 life. Crazy. Most players would lose the Far Seer there and probably the game because of it. Masterful discipline to remember to reposition the FS and not die to greed/tunnel vision there.
Wowowow!!! You were not wrong with labeling it mythical. Super entertaining, lots of fighting that never ends!!! Amazing!!! Very curious Xlord restores the heroes’ HP as if they have unlimited healing potions!

Btw im still new, so I don't get it-- after most UD units were down, why did Grubby choose to focus Lich and DR when these 2 heroes can easily be saved by infinite coils from DK? DK appears to be an easier target especially when he also did not carry town portal & invul in most of the fights, right?
DK is not an easier target, and you need to be aware of the items they had. In GENERAL DK is the hardest hero to kill because he moves super fast, and you can see that when he catches the DK, he kills him, so it depends a lot on how micro engagements are going. Pressuring lich and DR also forces them to kite back reducing their dps, as well as forcing defensive coils instead of aggressive.
When you said you sent your wolves, but don't know what happened to them Grubs, they actually found Xlords expo in the middle of the map and killed it, which I believe was what won you the game. He was so focused on the fight, 2 level 2 wolves took out a haunted gold mine.

I was under the impression that the no healing comp will fare bad against the terrifying hero focus of undead heroes. But I guess I was wrong. What a freaking great game.
wtf at 23:28 that tauren that dies spawns a skeleton AND then is immediately Spirit Walker rezzed!!!! I thought Dark Ranger Black arrow prevented a corpse when it spawns a skeleton! Is this not true?!!?
Finally getting to this game, and RIGHT away, the first thing of note is the rally point spam! I personally love the rally point spam. This is mandatory early game play in an RTS imo. I hope we see much more of this going forward in the games that I am 10 months behind on watching... *edit: the spamming building hotkeys spam. Any spam with clicks or hotkeys for APM padding is the correct response. **edit 2: Turns out I have seen this game. But it's still mythical! And there's that comment from me below starring me right in the face and I didn't see it...
Highest value Cloak of Flames in any game, maybe ever? Also, there's something to be said about UD or maybe just XlorD that he can be 0-8 in hero kills and still be pushing Grubby that hard.
Goddamnit Grubby this was a great game, but why don't you upgrade your troops earlier? At least armour upgrades - iirc all Orc units use the same armour.

beacuse during your hunting on dk, every 6 second are reducing your army by 3 units. So strong is this UD combo.
