I’m glad everyone was okay, and it sucks that a bunch of air heads ruined the fun. True metal heads protect each other and others in the space. There’s mosh etiquette and they clearly don’t know it.

Most mosh pits at actual music events are nothing like this and are actually pretty respectful. At least the ones that I have seen were. Especially within the punk and metal community. I know at a Rob zombie concert he asked for one mosh pit to be female only so that they felt safe to mosh. Mosh pits usually are not about throwing punches or violence. I'm so sorry that you had a negative experience

Awe I’m feeling for you Holland. I was out hard this week with an awful cold. I slept for an entire day which I cannot remember the last time I did that. Still getting over it but would totally suck to have it happen on a trip and right after her birthday! Feel better soon!

I love how she decides because she is tall and sturdy, she can stand in the middle and then her people come deal with the rest. Abbie, and Danny had 1/2 of the stupid men under control. Rachel and her people literally split a bar fight in half, wth. Amazing
They started the fight lol 😆 cause they were trying to stop the moshing- I hate mosh pits for the record and would have been on board to stop it buut if they hadn't done that there wouldn't have been a "fight" so they started it lol 🤦🏻♀️

🙈 why are people still using & teaching TEMP??? I’ve had dogs attack with their tails wagging furiously & dogs attack with their tails touching their belly’s & everything in between. Same with their ears giving different signals to what they’re actually doing. It’s time we reacted to what dogs actually do & not what we think they’re going to do.
Yes I agree I’ve had the same experiences! This is to help my clients start to read their dogs better. I always explain not just a nervous dog bites and definitely do more of a deep dive on why dogs bite, how we can prevent that from happening etc. T.E.E.M.P is to help my clients start to recognize body language and how important it is to put all of these signals together. You never rely on a “wagging tail”

Moshing isn’t the issue by any means but there is definitely and time and a place, and that karaoke bar was neither the time nor the place.
There’s a whole etiquette around moshing that many people (*cough* men *cough*) completely ignore. It’s not a free for all fight club.
Its fun to think about how not to long ago we were sitting in caves with fire as a power source and now we have buildings full of shiny dots, strobe lights, and pounding music. That club looked really fun!
