In today's video, we unlock the G80 M3's FULL potential and take it it to the track to see what it can do in the 1/4 mile! We do this by adding new tires, flashing a new cracked DME, and by adding an E50 blend to the tank!

They have 6 banger not a 8
5 years ago the Audi RS3 set the bar very high but the BMW M3 is truly one tier above that. I can not think of any other car that can compite with the M3 at that price range. The performance of the M3 is just on a different level.

That unlock also combines the Dahler unlock? Or which one is better or would you recommend for which application?
Nope, we wouldn't recommend tuning with multiple platforms at once. Really all depends on the specific circumstance. For the new G series models that can't be unlocked currently we would certainly recommend the Dahler tuner!

Just curious but do I have to unlock my dme on my 2016 bmw 340i? I got a downpipe and most likely will do flex fuel. And I will be tuning with mhd prolly a ots map

why do you mark the DME harness/plug? Are they all different plugs?
Just for the easy convenience in making sure the plugs go back in the same and correct orientation
What size R888R's did you fit on the stock rims?

I have the same issue with my tires on my car. I know they're not r888r's but I run nangkang ns2r's on my car and they literally sound like an axle is going bad. Freaked me out the first time driving on the highway 🤣

There will be, but lots of people are in the 9s on stock turbos
Interesting what you said about the cats as I'm wanting to keep mine in too. I hear that the M cats flow pretty well any idea how much flow they produce in cell?

Gutted interior and some slicks the car will definitely be in the 9s
Can always run higher ethanol level but I’m not sure if the g80 fuel system can handle it.

Both :). He is running awd, but in another vid, he demonstrates the on-the-fly switch to rwd the car has.

I hate the R888R, I had them on my GTR, got rid of them for Sport Cup 2 connects. Way better. 285 front and 345 rear. I run PS4 on my 800whp F90 couldn't be happier.
Post the slips. We like to analyze the raw data. Also DR2s are probably better than r888 if your dragging it.
im far from a pro or anything like that, can only talk from my own experience. you should try a few passes without automatic transmission(i know bmw have tuned it to shift perfectly), for eg shift yourself. my f30 335 stage is way quicker in acceleration that way than if i let it shift. hard for me to explain in english but to make it short, you can get more umpffh per gear if you shift yourself. atleast give it a go :D

Why do you suggest launching in second? I’ve send multiple tuned g80s launching in second. Right now I’m on stage 2 e30 and launching in first.
