Your reviews and explanations are really good. Thanks! I just recently bought this hand grip for my X100V and it really improves the way the camera feels in the hand. Early days but I think I am going to really like it. And the Arca Swiss plate is an added bonus. Oh yes, my hand grip is a perfect fit and I do not have even a tiny tiny gap at the top of the grip that you had pointed out. Perhaps JJC have responded to feedback from you and others.
This is NOT compatible with the X100VI. The hole on the bottom of the VI is closer to the front due to the IBIS
Thanks for the informative video. What would you recommend that has a handgrip as well as some protection like those leather cases that semi-wrap the body around the sides?
Which do you prefer best this one or the small, rig grip?
Got my X100V on the way so finding your accessories videos really useful thank you. Have you been using the grip?
Glad to hear! Thanks for watching, Terry! I have been using it but not always (esp when I want to go small). Did you end up getting one?
@@Tech4Baba yeah I did get one, but so far not used it.
@Terry Newman Congrats! Let me know how you like it after you give it a try.
It's been a few weeks. Did you keep the grip on? (With the grip and the filter/sealing, is it basically the size of the xt4)?
I do but takes it off when I want the X100V to be more portable. I think it's still smaller than the XT4 with a comparable lens. Thanks for watching and asking, LuskeyBowser! Are you deciding between the two?
Will this scratch or damage the bottom of the camera?
Thanks for watching and asking, Nothing! It hasn't for me. I think it won't if it's screwed on carefully and tightly. Let me know how you like it if you get one.
