I want to clarify a point at 1:41, having tips that end in a point or ball is only good for solo spin time. Not only do you want a conical shaped tip for higher LAD, you also want it for more stability. Tips shaped like flat cones allow the beyblade to recover its stability when tipping over by giving it a surface to use force on. This is important since scraping on the stadium is one of the easiest ways to lose a stamina advantage. An example of this in metal fight is a tall bey that either uses Coat Sharp or Metal Ball. Metal ball gives higher spin time since it contacts the stadium less, but coat sharp’s conical shape allows the bey to recover from tipping over when knocked around.
I love these guide videos and in general all your videos, and im surprised you dont have a lot of subscribers you definitely deserve more with the quality of your videos.
Well people seem to be taking notice since the first beyblade video, before then i was lucky if a video surpassed 200 views and now my average seems to be 1.5k. This channels been around for four and a half years at this point so it really threw me for a loop that i just woke up one day and beyblade 101 was at 20k. A lot of my older videos are pretty different to what ive decided to do now but im going to leave them up because for myself at least i think its interesting to go back and see how my editing has improved since i was 14.
I tend to favor defense because I like having a brick. But, as I slowly creep back into beyblade, I'm looking at stamina types and taking notes. I like being able to take hits but having a stable spot in the center of the ring.
Eager for the Defense type vid after learning that a lot of "Defense" Metal Wheels turn out to be better for Attack So I need to know what is actalky good for Defense and Counter (besides centralized weight, I get the obv)
sorry about that a lot of the theory in the video still applies to mfb have a round wheel with no big contact points (or have l drago/ dragooon) have a tip with low friction and high LAD i also didnt talk much about it because height played a big role in beys back in metal fight and i'm not all that familiar with how to use it effectively since i was a young kid at the time it was out
Next one is defence, script and recording is done so all thats left is the edit No promises but should be out soon Attack will be next after that and finishing off the series with balance (then I’ll have to come up with more video ideas)
Astral is "good' for dual spin steal or just "the best" for dual spin steal in among DB parts? Since the rubber on it is pretty minimal compared to other Spriggans, unless I'm mistaken and the rubber on Astral is more than just the white mane part
Yeah the rubber is only the white bit, but rubber isn’t essential for spin stealing, it helps a lot but you just need enough friction from its contact points to spin steal if you couldnt tell I’m a bit of a sucker for spriggan, it is slightly outclassed by its solo spin cousins but until burst spriggan its the only dual spin db blade and imo it gets the job done well enough
@@Milgo rule of generalist vs specialist, right? With Spriggan as the balance type of the OG 4 landing him squarely as a generalist Also, I agree, Spriggan is my fav of the OG 4
Vanish is very good for spin steal so id recommend capitalising on that Over or illegal are great discs for weight and life after death and would be perfect for vanish For the tip you’d also want something with good LAD like drift or bearing
Really it varies from tip to tip but generally to conserve stamina on a pointed tip youll want to launch flat to keep the amount of contact to the stadium low and conserve energy (without loss through friction)
Quite a few actually, depending on what you want Same spin stamina youre probably going to want Xtend+ Opposite spin stamina youll want something free spinning like bearing, drift or mobius If you want something in the middle zone+z can do both same spin and opposite spin but not quite to the degree of the others i mentioned Hope that helps :)
Sorry didnt see your last reply Spriggan 1 is the one with astral Call me old fashioned but i still think some of the gt beys hold up against db I personally use Master Spriggan Around Bearing Drift Its kinda more a balance than pure stamina, some people would say it’s suboptimal because the spriggan gt chip isnt as good as any of the other left spinning or even dual spin like diabolos but because of how the around disc fits with the master blade ive never had it burst once Depending on launch technique it can play passively or aggressively, imo it can do basically anything. Im a bit of a sucker for spriggan as the blue recolour of spriggan requiem was my first burst bey (as seen in my channel banner) which was what got me back into beyblade and i kinda see my master spriggan as an evolution to my first combo, spriggan requiem 00cross destroy’.
Yeah i played competitively for a good number of years :) stopped when i got to x rank in splat 3 mostly because of not great experiences with the community
TAKARA TOMY Beyblade Burst DB Energy Layer - Greatest Raphael (GRP) . TAKARA TOMY Beyblade Burst Forge Disc - Over (Ov).TAKARA TOMY Beyblade Burst Performance Tip - Drift (Dr). what do you think about this combo? (left spin) let me know.
Greatest raphael is an interesting case Its good as a mix of attack and stamina but isnt the best at either Dynamite F is very good for right spin stamina and vanish the same for left Wind is also a very good stamina blade but unlike the other two doesnt spin steal the best but makes up for it by being almost perfectly round
The milgo explaining voice is perfection
Too rite luv 💅
You sound like LS Mark
I get that a lot,
Thats on us both being northern irish

i appreciate this. i plan to collect again and actually build this time
Nice vid,
I already know about these but i think They're just so entertaining to watch thats why I still watched them.
who agrees stamina types are good
(especially fafnir)
I have tt vanish Fafnir and I. Am learning about more so thx
I would reccomend trying to get a hold of the over disc and bearing dash driver
That makes vanish virtually unbeatable against right spinners

It would be nice to have also the mfb equivalent parts like in the last video

I hated hunting for Wheel. I only have the Hasbro one. They sold them for $20 lol
i got a question what is a best way to launch a stamina type?

Ahh yes

and what kind of layer should i get if i want to build something like tt vanish fafnir?
Im not as familiar with hasbro but basically anything thats kinda heavy and has rubber contact points should do the same job
@@Milgo how heavy?
Heavy compared to other layers, like i said im not as familiar with hasbro
Should i use achilles or spriggan when using astral?
If you mean spriggan 2 use that but if you mean spriggan 1 they are both essentially the same mould i believe

A lot of things work with over and drift but my favourite would be Dynamite + F
would that work for left spin? if not what would you recommend using left spin over and drift
Vanish would be best for over and drift in left spin
Dynamite+F is only for right
