Awesome. We would love to see the 890. Bring it up we have great camping northern Michigan:) welcome we are a variety channel. Have a excellent weekend.
We love the northern lite as well. Truck camping is an amazing way to camp for sure. So many places you can get to that would be a pain with other campers. Thanks for watching and commenting
Great video and love the rig. Wolf creek is a nice camper. Looked at both Wolf Creeks but ended up buying a Northern Lite 8-11 in Feb. 2020 to put on my 2020 F350 with the 7.3 Godzilla. Fully loaded with two people my rig weighs in at 11320 lbs (GVWR 11300). I have zero issues going up and down mountains here in Western Colorado. Plenty of power to spare. Averaging about 12.5 mpg. My truck came with the camper package and I added Timbrens. My gear ratio is 3.73. Enjoy the Wolf Creek and Godzilla!
Thank you. We had a lance back in 2005-08 it was a 845. We loved it. I think lance quality has dropped a hair. Northern lite We think had the nicest layout. It's like if you can pick and choose pros to each one it would really be something. Awesome setup. Ours is f350 Godzilla. September we are planning a trip. Michigan-Arizona going down million dollar highway. Safe travels friend. Congrats on your setup. If in Michigan message. Lots of good places lakes to see. Take care

I like getting my stuff down early too. My niece is currently in Maine staying at Air BNB. I had a walnut once fall and hit my windshield and put a crack in it that slowly expanded all day and eventually went across the entire window
That rock hit hard. Glad it was not on motorcycle. I worked 6am-6pm just rode motorcycle to Holland tonight. On a bike trip this week. Hope your niece has a great trip. Maine is pretty awesome. Hope they are lifting mask out there.
Hello Josh and Autum!! This is really exciting!! I am really happy for you two! Honestly, it is one of the most anticipated videos from you! Because......the adventure road opens up even more!! I am happy that your truck handled it well!! Ha....no a.d.'s in the camper at work! hehehehe Whooaaaa....what a great camping location to test out your rig for the first time away from home! I REALLY like the Traverse City area. The last time I went to Traverse City, I was in the airlines. We scored a 2 night overnight. On that full day off, that was the day that a wacko started the Chicago air traffic control facility on fire; which really played havoc on the air traffic control system for days. Our flight to carry passengers back to Chicago was cancelled. So, we got to fly the plane empty back to Newark. Those are always fun as the plane is super light and climbs like a rocket. Since the facility that was damaged controlled the airspace above 10000feet, we were kept at 10k for 20 or 30 minutes, then could climb up once in Cleveland ATC sector. Happy 4th of July weekend to you two also!! We had some friends camping in our driveway to experience some great small town 4th activities; they just left today.
Thank you Alan!! We have been anticipating this video too. We are so ready for the open road in this rig. We plan on camping as often as we can. We can't wait for September. TC is a beautiful area! And a very nice small airport. We have flown out of TC many times and prefer it. Happy, safe flying for you! Hope your 4th was great too. Beautiful weather our way. More videos to come soon! J&A
wow, where is the 3700lbs of payload coming from? was thinking of buying the WC 850 for my F250 max payload 3135 but now you have me second guessing myself.
2 propane filled 20 lb tanks. 35 gallons fresh water, 6 gallons water in hotwater heater. Gear pans, cloths, chairs. A little firewood, I had similar lance 845 hauled on a f250 no issues. You can carry no water or don't carry as much. Even less gas helps too. I haul full to start no issues
Northwood makes a great camper. We have an 811 Arctic Fox, Wolf Creek is their "value/lighter" brand in case you didn't know the same company made both lol. You can totally disregard that weight sticker on the back, northwood doesn't include a lot of mandatory "options" in that weight and my camper is about 1000-1500lbs over the sticker weight. If you don't have one, a rubber bed mat will help keep the camper still as you go down the road, and some airbags will help you level the truck out a bit and take some sway out if you notice either of those issues. I love those rear living floor plans. Nice choice. Out of curiosity, what model is that generator, 2500 or 2500i? The 2500i is newer and supposed to be more quiet and I'm curious what you have.
I have to double check. It's quiet I thought. It was made March of 2021. We had a lance 845 it was a 2005 had it 3 years. We loved it. We looked at lance again. We looked at 811 northern lite. We felt bang for $ and weight. We liked the floor plan of 840 wolf creek. We don't plan on camping in zero degree winter weather. We might use bathroom if needed. But our winter travel would be leaving Michigan to somewhere warm. We are taking a big trip in September with it. Thanks for the comment.
Just a question, with the SWR did you notice any difference,, of course with a DWR better everything but huge price tag, and are you running the 10 ply tires which is a good idea, as I will be running a 2022 XLT 6.7 Powerstroke, ex cab I haul a 25ft 5th wheel with it, and I now will not be a problem with the camper of course common sense kicks in, when packing etc, but was just curious how it ran with the single axle,,thank you and awsome looking set up
Here is what we added on the truck for the camper. ruclips.net/video/0phsE0Bj44k/видео.html In September. We left Michigan, out through Colorado, Arizona. We did overs 5,500 miles no issues. This video I think will make it even more smooth. I'm really liking this setup a lot. I just rather not drive a dually all the time when not using camper. This has worked great for our needs. Thanks for commenting
Well , Hello ! I am Mark... Really like your new Cab Over Camper ! I have watched a couple of your videos and, subscribed to your channel.. I was sent over from Donna's Channel .. " Dream Creations and Adventures " .. Love your singing Autumn ! My channel is not much to watch.. I use it mostly to make comments... Our main channel is " Mark and Brenda Vlogs " We do a variety of things.. Camping.. Reviews.. but, mostly we do Live Streams of our Praise and Worship on Sunday's at 10:00 Am PST. Have a Super Blessed Day !
Thank you so much. Welcome to the channel. We love praise & worship. What part of the country are you in? We are northern Michigan. Have a excellent day!
Wolf creek is from the same company as artic fox. Decided on wolf creek weight & price. Also a little shorter on top so not catching quite as much wind.
Is my math wrong. But based off your payload numbers you only have 230 pounds to play with. Was the weigh in with nobody in the truck? Plus you didn’t have any water correct?
I believe we had fresh water full. We took it on over 5500 mile trip. Up through the mountains in Colorado & Arizona. It did great. We added upper stableloads. Since then we put on lower stableloads. ruclips.net/video/R-OB54izgeQ/видео.html
3740 lbs.. We showed at beginning truck 7020 lbs,, we showed camper with water 10,760.. Truck is rated @ 3970. So yes we are at the top of weight. It's handling it well as stock. Video on camper tonight. We do plan on adding torklift upper and lower stableloads

@@adventurerhoades Timbrins might be an option as well. it does look like you have a bit of a rake. It would be better to have a little more weight on the front end and it will also help your headlight alignment at night not to blind people coming from the opposite direction.
It's sad for sure with prices right now. The only thing Is saving on hotel & eating out cost. I think I will be between 9-12 mpg with this set up. Gas today here was $3.08
In Australia we have about 15 manufacturers of Truck Campers, but F250's or F350's are rare You can reasonably sized ones on Asian Pickups ( 2500lb payloads) or much larger , with slideouts on march larger Cabover trucks www.ozcape.com.au/
What are you talking about? We love the camper. We know price was marked up. Buy We understand the market very well. We are not ones with victim mentality. Not sure what you mean by this. Have a great day
be sure to check into the roadmaster activesuspension.com/ it will help the squat and ride better than airbags when not towing. I will never go back after putting them on all my trucks.
Right on!!!

TC is a beautiful area! And a very nice small airport. We have flown out of TC many times and prefer it. Happy, safe flying for you! Hope your 4th was great too. Beautiful weather our way.
More videos to come soon!

Nice camper, love all the details and info👍
You guys are great tour guides 😁
Appreciate it. You are a excellent tour guide yourself.
wow, where is the 3700lbs of payload coming from? was thinking of buying the WC 850 for my F250 max payload 3135 but now you have me second guessing myself.
Congratulations. I think you will love it, I do mine.
Awesome thank you.
Looks fun!
Thank you we are excited
New Fellow Truck Camper Friends here! I can't wait to see the increase in weight once you outfit with all your gear. Tracey and Christian
Thank you
Autumn you look gorgeous!! We are EARLY risers too, but we go to bed early … 😊
Thank you Miss Sherry! I (Autum) really appreciate the compliment 😊
Does the passthrough window line up with the pickup’s sliding rear glass you can pass stuff and people through it?
It doesn't line up dead on but enough to pass drinks through
Northwood makes a great camper.
Generator is the 2500i I'd say very close in noise to our Honda 2000. We are happy with it.
Beautiful camper
Thanks, King Albert!
Congratulations! In your travels do you regret not having a dually?
No if I had artic fox I'd probably go dually
Great video, guys.
Thank you sir. Appreciate you commenting and watching. Have a blessed week. Happy Thanksgiving
Just a question, with the SWR did you notice any difference,, of course with a DWR better everything but huge price tag, and are you running the 10 ply tires which is a good idea, as I will be running a 2022 XLT 6.7 Powerstroke, ex cab I haul a 25ft 5th wheel with it, and I now will not be a problem with the camper of course common sense kicks in, when packing etc, but was just curious how it ran with the single axle,,thank you and awsome looking set up
Here is what we added on the truck for the camper.
ruclips.net/video/0phsE0Bj44k/видео.html
In September. We left Michigan, out through Colorado, Arizona. We did overs 5,500 miles no issues. This video I think will make it even more smooth. I'm really liking this setup a lot. I just rather not drive a dually all the time when not using camper. This has worked great for our needs. Thanks for commenting
@@adventurerhoades good to hear will watch the video later, this damn thing called work gets in the way lolol
@@Lovecamping290 yes it does lol. I just got off my 12 hour shift. We are in Northern Michigan. What part of the country
@@adventurerhoades BC Canada where I am in -33 weather right now
@@Lovecamping290 very cold. It's around 25 f here. We had knee deep snow, it melted now around a inch. Have a great week!
I had to laugh when you said the camper weighs around 2000.
Total truck and camper was I think 10,760. We has a lance 845 before. I think we'll really like this one
Nice! No arctic Fox because too heavy?
Wolf creek is from the same company as artic fox. Decided on wolf creek weight & price. Also a little shorter on top so not catching quite as much wind.
wow! looks good
Thanks Elsie!!
@@adventurerhoades Cool, just remember that airbags or any suspension mod does not increase payload. It only keeps your truck from squatting.
@@fattie2550 yes thank you. I'm just under payload. Many that haul truck campers are well over gvwr
@@adventurerhoades Be safe.
@@adventurerhoades hauling truck campers over the GVWR doesn’t mean it’s safe or a smart thing to do…
Love the fire pits Mich St Parks
They are nice. We love the natural rock ones too
This may seem like a silly question, but, can you tow a boat with the camper on?
Yes, torklift makes hitch extension. One friend has same camper he tows a tractor to vacation property
You never mentioned the camper weight, with water I'm guessing 4000 lb +. That's very close to max for the truck.
3740 lbs.. We showed at beginning truck 7020 lbs,, we showed camper with water 10,760..
Truck is rated @ 3970. So yes we are at the top of weight. It's handling it well as stock. Video on camper tonight. We do plan on adding torklift upper and lower stableloads
@@adventurerhoades Hi, looking to go the f350 Godzilla Tremor route myself once the world settles down again, looking at a lance truck camper, maybe a 975 ?
@@grahamkearnon6682 we have a friend who follows channel. He has a 975. Some videos on it. Out of slide out models. That's probably my favorite. Welcome to the variety channel. We sometimes do giveaways. Have a great night. Best wishes in your search.
I thought for sure you would be getting a towable trailer.
We like these. Easy to pull into a spot. No trailer registration etc.
Not gonna give us a tour inside of it?
We are gonna be live tomorrow night. We'll do inside tour. The last video motorcycle trip we are doing s drawing on the comments. We will be doing more truck camper videos
I was very disappointed that you did not show the inside.
At thirty one min 45 sec in this attached video. we have inside..
We love it.

Appreciate it. Have a great day
Very nice rig
Thank you welcome to variety channel. We have a video on 7pm tonight. Your welcome to chat with us. It's truck camper video
Just to add my truck payload is 4076 lbs.
Awesome. This one is 3960 I believe. I put it in a video with load of firewood
I like the truck 😎👍
We have really liked it. Welcome to the variety channel. Have a excellent night
I hope you put airbags on it.
This was stock. Overall not bad. But we just put torklift upper stableloads on. Probably will add some lower ones too
Ok wish you all well.
@@michaeljrender1247 appreciate it. Welcome to the variety channel. We sometimes do giveaways. Have a excellent night
@@adventurerhoades Timbrins might be an option as well. it does look like you have a bit of a rake. It would be better to have a little more weight on the front end and it will also help your headlight alignment at night not to blind people coming from the opposite direction.
At nearly 5 bucks a gallon of gas in California it makes truck camping impossible for me, every 8 miles would cost 5 bucks :(
It's sad for sure with prices right now. The only thing Is saving on hotel & eating out cost. I think I will be between 9-12 mpg with this set up. Gas today here was $3.08
Great video👍
Appreciate it. We like to have fun. We are a variety channel. Have a excellent day
In Australia we have about 15 manufacturers of Truck Campers, but F250's or F350's are rare
You can reasonably sized ones on Asian Pickups ( 2500lb payloads) or much larger , with slideouts on march larger Cabover trucks

Very cool link thanks for sharing. Welcome to the variety channel
Nice truck camper but it's hard to listen when you both are talking over one another .
I apologize. We will work on it. My fault. We really enjoy this setup
Where and how do you live that you feel you're going to get robbed. It must be exhausting feeling like you are always a target or victim.
What are you talking about? We love the camper. We know price was marked up. Buy We understand the market very well. We are not ones with victim mentality. Not sure what you mean by this. Have a great day
👍✌️
be sure to check into the roadmaster activesuspension.com/ it will help the squat and ride better than airbags when not towing. I will never go back after putting them on all my trucks.
I will check out. Just seeing comment. Have a great day. Welcome to the variety channel!
In future videos, can you not try to talk at the same time?
Sorry. We will do our best. Have a excellent day
I can't even believe after all that, you don't even show the most important part of the camper, the interior !!!! Boooooo.
