Just started my CDJ journey and could not for the life of me work out why extending/halving the loop made it go back to the beginning of the loop. This video explains everything, thank you big time!
i couldnt for life of me figure out how to 8 beat+ loop on my first cdj2000 adventure . wont happen again when i go to vietnam for international show thank you❤🎉
you need to be really precise in the grid for the 4 beat button exact? for in and out for example if you registered well on rekordbox also if is not precise he will in automatic create a perfect loop, thanks
Brother, you forgot to tell us about Loop /Cue(+ - 2x) button function which is placed next to Delete or Memory button . Rest information in this video is 100% useful. (I will wait for your reply on feedback given above by me)
I try to figure this out on every tutorial but none of them mention it : How to start directly with a loop ? from the very first beat. what if I need the first 8 beats of a track looped? because what i usually do on the controller is hit "auto loop " instead of play and then adjust it, hence i don't skip the beginning if i need it

It is indeed a little bit weird to figure it out.
But when you are used to it, it seems so logic

Exactly what I needed thank you
Thanks! You can also use cue/loop to shorten/lengthen the loop
yes, you can set a new out point

set the player at the beginning of the track and hold the loop button for 2 seconds
Do it with headphone prelisten
Nice tutorial. Question : Can you move the loop ? like it's possible in the traktor.
I don't know trktor, but not that I know of.
you can adjust in and out point
What I would like to know is when cutting the loop in half, can I choose if I want to cut it into the first half or the second half?
no you can't choose.
what about looping something before its even playing? to loop the other song and beat match it in . my headphones
that is more difficult, but you can program an automatic loop in rekordbox
Does this also work on the xdj xz and the 1000?
probably, but I don't know those particular machines
Hahah je klinkt gelijk Nederlands
beter dan dat het 10 minuten duurt...
@@DexxterClarkMusic hahaha goed gedaan hoor
