Cheers Andy, yeah I've always loved SLF - the SG's with embossed covers were only made (well, pretty much only made) in 1972. It's not the easiest guitar to play, I'll say that, but it makes up for it in looks and sounds!
Most definitely on the cards in the next couple of weeks, absolute classic! Another SLF number tomorrow - still loving playing my Yamaha SG, so seemed appropriate.
Good morning Dunsy? A Gibson SG, oh man wifey must've screamed bloody murder when you bought that. Hey Dunsy, I know its none of my business but do you have a buying guitars addiction, lol. Wish I could but just one of them and I wouldn't be eating for a year. Rock On!
@@douglaschristine8387 I’m not a huge fan of SG’s, never have been - this is the only one I own, which I bought because I wanted that specific 1972 model with the Gibson embossed humbucker covers - I prefer a Les Paul. The bridge and pickups on an SG sit a bit further forward towards the neck than they do on a Les Paul. I’m much more used to playing a Les Paul. Other folks much prefer an SG for feel and sound though. Angus Young does not too bad with his favoured instrument though. Tony Iommi too. I think it’s definitely a guitar for trying before buying, to see how it fits your style.
Early Sparra are pure magic...Rock&Roll of a high standard

Yeah, she went ballistic; divorce papers were almost served, crazy times, my friend. But what’s a guy to do when he wants an SG?
@@DunsysGuitarWorld buy an EpiphoneSG for $600
@@DunsysGuitarWorld I hear their difficult to play if your not used to it, true?
