Leo, do a poll with all Kishore Kumar songs and one with all Rafi songs. I hope others support this suggestion. We can’t get enough of either of these singers.
If you want to understand Rafi, listen to two of his songs - 1. O duniya ke rakhwale and 2. Man tarpat hari darshan ko aaj, both from the film Baiju Bawra. from these you can go to any other but your world would have changed. Best wishes.
KL sehgal was inspiration of Kishore Kumar and Mukesh. And Ashok Kumar was elder brother of Kishore Kumar. Kishore Kumar got his first big success from 'Aradhana' movie from which was the song 'Mere sapno ki raani kab aayegi tu'
Mohammed Rafi is the legend of legends. Legacy of mohd Rafi is unparalled. He is incomparable to anyone weather it is male or female singer. Here is so much less songs of him
Tujh mein rab dikhta hai was Roop Kumar Rathod's song . You should check some of his songs . Tere liye Dhadak title track Ae jaate hue lamho O saiyaan All are your types of songs . Absolute perfection ...
KK, Mohit Chauhan, Neeraj & Shreya Ghoshal were robbed in this video lol 😂. I mean they literally dominate 2004-10 easily. Also Kumar Sanu robbed off 90s... I mean the man literally got 70% of the best compositions, even more than what Udit sir got... But What the heck! But yeah, this is evolution video so we had to see whether there is any different song from the next Years.
In 1994-95 "Didi Tera Dewar Deewana" from movie "Hum Aapke Hain Kaun" was constantly number 1 beating all others for weeks. I remember this because every countdown on TV in those days showed this. The most popular song for that year is listed wrongly in this video.
Yes sonu nigam lived 1966 .. Coz his voice is most close to Rafi ji... He produced cassette during the ear of cassette... In 90s ... Singing Rafi's song... That was too close to actual voice of Mohd. Rafi.....
When I was a kid, my dad used to listen to Saigal, Mohd Rafi etc. and I (typical rebellious kid) used to scold him with "How can you listen to such crap !". Today, at 60 years of age, I enjoy listening to the same "crap" over a cup of coffee every evening. I feel so much regret about the way I treated my dad as a kid.
KL Saigal ---> Kishore Kumar ---> Kumar Sanu ---> KK ---> Arijit Singh These are one group Mohammad Rafi ---> Sonu Nigam ---> Atif Aslam These are another group Which group U like the most ??
You could call Saigal the father of Bollywood male singers BTW, Asha Bhosle and Lata are real sisters (in case you weren't aware) Neha and Tony K are siblings And don't dismiss Monali because of Cham Cham, give her a chance, listen to Sawar Loon and then decide...
Now a days people use the word *LEGEND* so easily for any one....But in true means it's for them who have made history, inspired generation after generation and survived the taste of time...for eg. Lata Mangeshkar, you saw her span of career..it's just unbelievable ❤️ thats why she is called the *Nightingale of India* and the *Voice of India* ❤️ Kishore Kumar, Rafi unfortunately they died earlier otherwise I think they also would have done the same as Lata.

loved your keen observation.. you are right about the singers that ruled the era.. of course with lata ji being the forever queen.. she has worked with likes of mukesh, md rafi , kishore kumar to udit narayan and sonu nigam as well and giving blockbusters and evergreen songs all these decades.. Asha bhonsle is her sister and another legend in herself.. she brought that slighlt modern and energetic touch to Bollywood songs.. there are so many gems that all can't be compiled in one list .. the one you paused at are all evergreen songs and last few years, as you said it's basically a trash.. either the songs are monotonous with no different feel or they are remakes or just trash lyrics.. you are right about neha kakkar.. she and tony are siblings... they could be good if they want but they basically works with the policy of whatever sells.. jagjit sing, known as ghajal king is also another one you should check out.. And you missed alka yagnik, she was the one who basically took the reins from lata and ruled 90's and early 20's era as the most popular female voice.. be it kumar sanu, udit narayan or sonu nigam, she was the female singer with whom they had the most charbusters with..
Bolly Leo I want to let you know the most underrated yet intoxicated duet song of sonu and shreya it's named as Saansien ghulne lagi from movie aitebaar 2004

You have great sense of music. The song you have paused between 1981 is 'Hume tumse pyar kitna' This song has 2 versions in the movie. The first one is delivered by Legendary Kishore Kumar in romantic mode. The second one was delivered by Parveen Sultana with classical nuances. There is another cover version sung by Shreya Ghoshal.
Honestly I don't think this video did justice to the evolution of Hindi film songs.. You should do a reaction on Best Filmfare Winning Male & Female Singers list video over the years - there are many availabile on youtube and that should give you a better perspective... Filmfare awards is considered as Indian equivalent of Oscars.... Trivia for you : Arijit Singh (2016-20) & Kumar Sanu (1991-95) holds the record for most consecutive Filmfare wins for winning in 5 consecutive years. Kishore Kumar won it consecutive 4 times (1983-86). Interestingly he got beaten by his own son, Amit Kumar, in 1982 who won the award that year. This will show the kind of dominations they had during their prime time.

Rafi (you said how beautiful) Oh mere Dil ke chain - Kishore Kumar (you said you definitely have to react to this) Pal Pal Dil Ke Pas - Kishore Kumat Hame tumse pyaar kitna - Kishore Kumar (paused and went back) Tum Itna Jo Muskura - Jagjit Singh (absolutely beautiful voice texture, there are a lot of beautiful ghazals in his voice) Dheere Dheere Se - Kumar Sanu from Ashiqui (ALL songs in this movie are gems) Ya Ali - Zubin Garg (you have already reacted to this and love it) Tujhme Rab Dikhta hai - RoopKumar Rathod (also has some beautiful songs, you said we betrayed you LoL) Behti Hawa Sa Woh - Shaan (has been recommended on your channel ) Kun Faya Kun - Mohit Chauhan, Jared Ali and AR Rahman Teri Galiyan- Ankit Tiwari (you said beautiful) Main Tera Boyfriend - Arijit and Neha Kakkar (do this for the actor Sushant Singh Rajput though…he is no more and we are heartbroken.) You should check out all Rafi and Kishore Kumar on this video as well as the Hemant Kumat one Yaad Kiya Dil Ne. Asha Bhosle is Lata’s sister. There is a beautiful song by Asha and Rafi, “Deewana Hua Badal”. You should check it out. These are just popular songs of the year. There were many songs in those same years that were also very very beautiful. Rafi’s Din Dhal Jaye is a heartbreak song from the movie Guide for instance. Kishore has had other beautiful sad as well as romantic songs. Manna Dey is such a classical voice. Kumar Sanu you should also check out.
I saw you really like that TUM ITNA JO MUSKURA RAHE HO by Mastero Jagjit Singh.... He was known as the king of Ghazals . You must check out all his hits like : Tumko dekha to ye khayal Hoton se chu lo tum Kahin door jab din Teri fariyaad And many many more ..
Selection of the songs in this video is not that authentic...and way to short. They missed so many singers and so many best songs. For kishor Kumar songs: Pal pal dil k pass O mere dil ka chayan Humein tumse payar kitna You will love this. You found *Jagjit Singh* here...plz listen to him. His voice is so deep. This video missed another legend *Manna Dey* from the era of Kishore - Rafi. He is an amazing singer and a Bengali too...the depth in his voice and technicality...❤️❤️ You must check his songs too .
Exactly.. They missed many songs.. Like in 2003, Kal Ho Na Ho was the most hit song but they missed, in 1999, Tadap Tadap ke was probably the best song, they missed again.... Even in 2008 , Zara Sa was the chartbuster but they added Tujhme Rab Dikhta Hai 😑 Even in 2012, there should've been Abhi Mujh Me Kahin... And what the hell these Chhitiya Kalaiya, Chham Chham, Main Tera Boyfriend are doing here 😑 there were many more hits in those years..

My favourite singer is Mohammad Rafi. Love you from Delhi India.
The video is actually fake. 2021 lut gaye and many others. Pehela nasha also not there

Modern Rafi - Sonu Nigam ❤
Modern Kishore - KK ❤
Modern Lata - Shreya ❤
Cool
👍
Modern Asha Tai - Sunidhi... Versatile as hell.
Arjit singh?
@@rockstar-ot4hm probably Kumar Sanu as both dominated a decade.
Yes sonu nigam lived 1966 .. Coz his voice is most close to Rafi ji...
He produced cassette during the ear of cassette... In 90s ... Singing Rafi's song... That was too close to actual voice of Mohd. Rafi.....
React to Shreya Ghoshal's Chikni Chameli...that shows how versatile Shreya Ghosal is
From 50s to 2010 all songs are masterpiece
When I was a kid, my dad used to listen to Saigal, Mohd Rafi etc. and I (typical rebellious kid) used to scold him with "How can you listen to such crap !". Today, at 60 years of age, I enjoy listening to the same "crap" over a cup of coffee every evening. I feel so much regret about the way I treated my dad as a kid.
KL Saigal ---> Kishore Kumar ---> Kumar Sanu ---> KK ---> Arijit Singh

Dude 😂 Where is Lata Mangeshakar and Asha Bhosle.
You could call Saigal the father of Bollywood male singers
BTW, Asha Bhosle and Lata are real sisters (in case you weren't aware)
Neha and Tony K are siblings
And don't dismiss Monali because of Cham Cham, give her a chance, listen to Sawar Loon and then decide...

06:00 : Indeed, Sonu's idol is the Md Rafi sir.
1960s to 1980s,periods Hindi film songs of Mohamad Rafi,Mukesh,Kishore Kumar,Lata Mangeshkar ,Asha Bhonsle are very much popular and highly enchanting which several crores viewers loves even Today.More than 500 Hindi popular songs from this above singers for the above said period.
Pukarta chala hoon main by Md Rafi is worth listening from the old era. I still enjoy the song even now.
Arijit Singh, Shreya Ghoshal, Sonu Nigam ❤️
3:47 second was the legend music composer and singer Hemant Kumar.
loved your keen observation.. you are right about the singers that ruled the era.. of course with lata ji being the forever queen.. she has worked with likes of mukesh, md rafi , kishore kumar to udit narayan and sonu nigam as well and giving blockbusters and evergreen songs all these decades..

And that filmfare one would do ??🤣filmfare is the most biased awards ever 🤣
