As a Korean-American, it's really amusing how the Korean women interviewed think all Westerners are tall, fit, and handsome. Go to any local Walmart in the US and they will be in for a rude awakening 😆
@1 2 same here in India...Indian girls die for white men specially britishers ..they think every other britisher looks like Henry cavil , Andrew Garfield , Tom ,Robert pattinson etc
The girl in the white shirt is definitely wifey material. She answered the questions genuinely and the way she spoke about what interests her was very mature and intriguing. She has a great mind set and intelligence about her.
Also, the Americans have misled her into believing that a good body is a sign of wealth, if that case then everyone who had great body would be rich. We all know that one can achieve a great body by training using their own body weight either in their homes or in the park.
I have been married to a Korean lady since 1995 and never regretted this decision. We met in the US and now live permanently in Daejeon, South korea. Culture differences cause misunderstanding at times. When you do not think this is a problem, it will bite you. I must always think of what my precious wife needs. I have had to think in a difference way then when I was married to an woman in the US. Korean ladies expect you to keep in close touch with them and keep them informed during the day. I am proud to be married to a woman who is from such a great country as Korea. I am proud of my wife who taught Korean language in Romania for 5 years and is a professor at Boston College now. I am proud of her accomplishments. I was a professor at KAIST until recently teaching Industrial design and science writing
Nice story I envy, Is it easy to meet Korean women who want to date foreigners in Korea? I’m thinking of coming to South Korea but not sure where to go or how east it is to date Korean women you meet out at nightclubs/bars etc. whether they are open to stay with you for the night/foreseeable future
@@Allthingspoll Depends, how old are you? do you like going out? If you like going to bars or nightclubs and you are not super ugly, you'll get a girl every time you go. I would advise learning basic korean, because most of the people here are too shy to speak english. If you don't go out much it's going to be a ROUGH ride. Korea can make you feel SUPER lonely because almost everything is catered to couples or friends. On super busy nights some places won't even accept you if you go alone, especially if you don't speak the language either. So the solution if you don't go out much but you still want to be in Korea, is to come for studying (if you're young), or try to find a job with a work visa (hard to find). My own experience: 2022 I was here for 50 days from June-August. I used mostly Tinder to find dates and i was able to get a date every few days. I went to bars twice and girls would come up to me to talk (in English). This year has been much more rough, maybe I got lucky last year, or maybe I'm uglier this year :D but I've had a little less success.
@@PrinceGaki thanks for the message, well I’m 31 have no experience in Korea, but I have been to thailand for a month over 10 times from May 2016 - December 2020 I didn’t have trouble with women there they just come up to you even if your with another lady lol, but I want to move on from thailand now I have always wanted to try Korea even when I had booked for thailand sometimes, I’m not an ‘ugly’ person but not a model at the same time lol, most Thai people thought I was ok looking mainly because my skin is soo white lol, but I do enjoy bars and nightclubs and dancing and I’m just looking to meet and stay with Korean women and have a companion out there for a night and change if they don’t like long term or one that is happy to be with me for the time I’m there
@@Allthingspoll Yeah Thailand is the easiest place on earth 😂😂 I'm 33 so we're similar in age. If you're white you have the most chance. If you're average (like me, I'd rate myself a 6) you won't have much trouble. Just have to put yourself out there. I dislike going to nightclubs in general and going to bars alone is weird so this year I haven't met anyone outside of using dating apps. You will definitely stand out more and height will help as well. I'm average height, 5'7 (169 cm) so I'm nothing special.
The girl in green wanted him so bad 😂 also it was genuinely nice how so many of the interviewees gave intelligent answers and were willing to learn about another culture
As a Mexican American, I had no problems in Korea. I suffered more racism in India from darker skinned people than I did in Korea. As a matter of a fact, I feel like because I was a foreigner that wasn’t white, Koreans put on a better face for me due to the fact of racism being an issue. Super weird for me, can’t wait to go back, I’m sure covid changed things
@@RobertFromCali No yeah it was so cool, Korean girls were even more open to me at bars because I was the “American” but I was also latino so seeing an English Mexican speaker jump between Korean, Spanish and English made for a pretty cool bar trick that got me laid a few times hahahaha
I'm from New York and that's something that I feel like Western areas , such as like America, we can't just sit there and listen to an opinion without sharing our opinion as well, I see this till this day and I'm 34 So I love how you keep a serious face and you let them speak the whole way through to get their full thoughts on the topic... that's wise so I learned alot from this
you're so good at this. people are so comfortable with you, you seem like such a chill guy but you ask really introspective questions off the cuff that gets people talking, its interesting! your street interviews are the only ones that seem real lol

Itaewon nightclubs exist for foreigners to mix and mingle with Koreans. It is the reason why pub crawls exist. Finding love in a foreign land is quite the experience, and educates people about different cultures.
@@jaezerbeam1956yea not really, foreigner guys don’t really come to Korea it’s usually the girls (google it out yourself), with the most common foreigners being Russians/Ukrainians and to my surprise Turkish and Morrocans too
When I was stationed in Korea, my friend invited me to visit his family near Seoul. We ended up going to the mall and while we were walking around a group of girls walked up and asked him if I’d take a picture with them. It was a really interesting and flattering experience. Up until then my experience with Korean women were that they were really reserved and shy.
When was it In the 90’s? Cause now they see foreigners very often they became over smart now ig cause I work in South Korea and no one does that to me!!!! Or you really that handsome 😮
Jerry is a pretty good interviewer. Didn't interrupt the guests, he lets them talk, and asked pertinent follow up questions. I enjoyed this. Keep at it Jerry.
Something super interesting for those out there who want a learn a language. There's a phenomenon that happens when learning a language that many people experience where your personality CHANGES while speaking/being immersed in the other language. It happened to me big time when I learned French and was immersed in a culture that spoke it. I was SIGNIFICANTLY more confident and assertive when I spoke French than I am in English. I can "turn it on" in english so to speak, but when I was speaking French among the French, I was WAY more direct and confident in general almost all of the time. It makes me curious how I would behave if I were to learn an asian Language.
I speak two languages. In America I have no issue speaking English. In spanish speaking countries and depending on the country, you are right the personality change hits slightly lol. I become different for sure. Depends on the country though. If It were Colombia for example... to be of the people, I'd have to be more lively in the way I speak.
I lived in Korea for a year and things I've noticed....the young women are pretty open minded amd more catering to their man , if your black dating a Korean people will noticeably stare, and they love watching you do stereotypical things like my friend and I were playing a basketball game being black men we had a crowd around us as we were breaking the high score lol
@@Djainwiqjzncdek How can you tell? Are you sure its not just a case of a good health, exercise and hygiene routine? Someone who sticks to a low fat/sugar diet, doesn't drink/smoke much or at all and is young can look that healthy.
9:00 I live in America and never heard of that expression. She must've spoke to someone who was trying to impress her. Someone with a good physique takes care of themselves and has great discipline while some are arrogant narcissistic mf'ers.
lmao @ Benjamin Button. Unfortunately basing your ideas off movies is not very accurate. Brad Pitt is one of the most desired men in the world, even here in the states. He does not represent an average foreign man.
0:43 I don't know....sounded like her English has a bit of an American accent to it. That doesn't sound like bad English to me. Plus, she's pretty mature in her thinking. The other girls come across as being more swayed by physical appearance and what they see from the movies. They know that studios only pick good-looking people for the movies, right? They also seem to think of only Caucasians when referring to foreigners. Asians from other countries are also foreigners, you know. Lol.....
Having lived in Korea for six years, I fell in love with Korean women every day. Their manner, commitment to their family, their style, their cute enthusiasm, their attentiveness to their man …. So many reasons to like Korean women!
its called femininity, give it 10 years and it will be gone, when the west influence of strong independent women has infiltrated them trough movies and music etc
This guy is solid, he has rhetoric, he is cool, he is calm, he has good posture, he has good eye contact and he knows how to listen without interrupting the other and his Korean is excellent. It's a real pleasure to discover your youtube channel.
Girl in the green is all about it 🤣. For real though, good insights and some well thought out responses for a "on the street" series of interviews. Wonder if a more strenuous barrier to long term relationships may be cultural/values based differences rather than any communication barrier or traditional hurdles toward compatability (beyond shallow surface considerations).
People are interested in what they are interested in regardless of race. I can only see this being the exception if someone just wants to marry or date within the confines of their community/ culture. If it takes an interviewer to ask these questions the person being interviewed is either going to answer the question truthfully or they will be nice and make it seem as though it could be a possibility. I personally think that Koreans like Japanese or other Asian communities in general are more inclined to marry or date within their race. However there are those that do date or marry outside of their culture.
Ironically she doesn’t know any Korean with Kim as the last name has brown Indian blood. An Indian queen from ayodhia married a Korean king and the Kim line was born in Korea. That why Korean ministers and their wives visit India to pay a visit to ayodhia the birth place of the Indian queen who birthed the Kim lineage of Korea.
I don't speak anything CLOSE to Korean but it seems to me that this kid speaks it very cleanly. If I closed my eyes, I would think he was Korean. He has the same inflection and tone as the girls. As a person that likes learning languages, I'm impressed. But the girls are the stars of the show 🤣🤣🤣
He does a strong accent but does well with the inflection. Pronunciation still needs work I would say to be considered very cleanly, but he does speak well overall. I would give him a 6.5/10, but I’m a harsh grader and have high standards for what a 10/10 speaker should be.
He speaks clear. Better in some videos than others but most foreign men speak clear 정확. But it sounds more like proper female speech. My opinion is females speak more clearly than the males.
This is so funny because when I frist met my Korean wife, she also said that I was a manly Man and thats what she liked about me. I also had two handsome sons by her. The mix is unbelievable cute!!
It is always interesting with these kinds of interviews how Koreans equate foreign with white. Foreign never seems to equate with other Asians or even other transnational Koreans (ie Korean Americans, Korean+European country) as they are also foreigners. This level of stereotyping is not only annoying but showcases the ingrained bias of years of US dominance in the area and Korea's own fragility when it comes to their self-identity and the liminal space that other Korean non-Korean citizens hold in the Korean psyche.
@@mando7670 Really...please tell me how? I've listened to countless interviews on this topic (are Korean girls into foreigners) and they all seem to follow similar patterns. K-Explorer is not touching upon a topic that hasn't already been done. I'm sure he knows this, but perhaps you don't. And also, this critique wasn't necessarily laid upon him as much as it is on Korean perceptions of foreigness... but these perceptions exist in all cultures as a way to differentiate us from them. It's nothing new but that doesn't mean it can't be critiqued and the thought processes critically deconstructed. Please tell me specifically where I am rude. I would love to be enlightened as you seem to be way smarter than me.
There are good and bad foreigners just as there are good and bad Koreans. You have to learn to see a person's heart to know who the person is. We are all bias to some degrees. Also, some cultures and religions look down on women as properties and not as fellow human beings.

I’m a 22 year old half Romanian and half Iranian man. My 16 year old cousin was killed in Iran due to the regime. She had an infinite love for South Korea and its rich culture. She loved listening to Kpop in particular (especially BTS). Though prior to her death I had no interest South Korea and I didn’t understand at the time why she always made a big deal about visiting there, I recently became interested in exposing myself to all-things Korean as a way of keeping her memory alive within me. I went to Seoul last month for the holidays with my close friend (who is half Korean and half Japanese) and I fell completely in love with the city and the country and its culture. For the most part, the men and the women were very kind, generous, and warm-hearted to me. One thing that bugged me though was that when some Koreans would ask me where I’m from (because I don’t look white) they would be like 🤩 when I’d tell them I’m half Romanian but be like 🤮 when I’d also tell them I’m half Iranian. I wonder why that is ☹️. Nevertheless, I hope to visit again in the near future!
so sry for what happened to you but how does regime kill random girls i don't get it do they enter houses and kill people how does country still exists then ??
Hey, @Ko- Jap. Sorry, for some reason my RUclips app is not letting me tag you for the reply! Thank you for your emotional support. It means a lot to me. My cousin’s name was Nika Shakarami (feel free to look her up on the internet, as she’s famous now). While the Iranian government has been known to breach into people’s homes and kill them from time to time, with Nika’s case, she was captured by the Islamic police while protesting against the government. They took her to prison, the guards over there beat her up, raped her, then they cut up her stomach to sell organs to the black market. I know that this may come to a shock to you, but this is what’s happening in my people’s country and the government holds the citizens in fear. The regime of the exists because it can. The people are having a hard time overthrow it. I’m still devastated by her death, and honestly, South Korea is the only place in the world that makes me feel that my family and I never truly lost her. Her memory and soul lives in Seoul. Now that I think about it, I don’t blame South Koreans for getting scared when I mention Iran. The whole world fears it and hates it. Thank you again for your comment! Please take care. ✌️
I can never understand why Romanians/Romania gets this type of response from people (even Europeans). I’m Australian but lived in Germany for years. I travelled to Romania often for holidays and Europeans would just ask ‘why’ Romania is in fact one of the most beautiful countries I’ve ever visited (out of at least 50 I’ve been to), I would say top 5 easily. It’s such a wonderful place that I even proposed to my wife there, in a small town in Transylvania, a truly wonderful part of Europe. Sorry to hear that people react this way when you tell them you’re from Romania, I hope you can convince them what a lovely place it is!
Unfortunately the roma get conflated with Romania and people automatically make prejudice connections between the two. For example Nigerian=Scammer, Iraqi=insurgent, it can take time to break down perceived barriers by being an ambassador for your culture.
Im here because im dating a korean girl and she is similar to the first white shirt girl with what she wants in a partner and with casual/serious relationship she wants something serious, it takes abit more time to always understand why she does things the way she does but trust me when i say ive found a gem literally the best women ive ever met and somehow she loves me now... I am lucky
So basically the only one who will take them seriously is the girl in the white shirt. The rest just have fantasies about dating one for the experience but at the end of the day will not marry them. All of then gave off that vibe. And seeing the comments here it seems like foreign guys view Korean women the same way. They just want to date each other to check it off their list. So they’ll just end up using each other. 🤷🏻♀️
Let’s not jump to conclusions Sherlock. Assuming you know everything about a person based off one RUclips comment or a two minute interview is a major fallacy.
My guy, you are a great interviewer in that you allow the interviewees to express themselves and you don't interrupt and your responses are professional and subdued.
01:07 yep thats true their guys (kpop) look more feminine than their women lol Btw they have one of the lowest birth rates in the world so something is seemingly wrong!
I think it's funny when they say they wouldn't because of the language barrier. I felt like it's assumed that this is a situation where they're able to communicate. Although i have seen some google translate couples on 90df haha
The ladies would be surprised that not every western guy looks like Brad Pitt or Ronaldo 😂 Just like not every South Korean looks like a Kpop idol. I'm from Germany and was surprised how uncomplicated it is to date, as long as both speak English.
@@mpforeverunlimited I can't answer the question so easily with yes or no. South Korea is definitely one of the countries where I felt most comfortable. But there were also hard times. I'm not a fan of prejudices and stereotypes, but as a German you tend to be reserved and quiet. That already ensured that I fit in well and felt very comfortable in society. Furthermore, if you research some customs, unwritten rules and know simple words/phrases in Korean beforehand, it is received very positively. I am an engineer (a German Engineer surprise, surprise 😂) and was in Seoul a consulting expert. I had a tough time on the job. Germany is probably the most blatant extreme of a low context culture and this is especially true in the professional environment. Short, fast and direct communication, flat hierarchies, bottom up processes/development, all requirements are explicitly documented, individual performance is paramount, teams are quickly formed and disbanded... wooow that was a culture shock for both sides. I openly communicated this problem and asked for a cultural mentor to help me fit in better and after some time I was also adjusted. Privately, things were much better. As a German, as I said, One rather reserved. One builds relationships only slowly and relies on few long term relationships. This fits well with the South Korean mentality. At least I didn't feel as run over as I do in southern European countries, for example. With women, I embarrassed myself quite a bit at first. In Germany, it is no problem to go out with a woman in the evening and it is not a date, but you meet without ulterior motives as with a colleague or a buddy. Accordingly, one asks directly for a supposed "date". That cost me 2-3 embarrassing conversations until I realized that 😂. Once they were not interested in me as a person, but there I was just the "western guy". That was a very uncomfortable situation for me. But all other rendevouz I enjoyed very much and I always felt that the pace was perfect (for a Spanish, French or Italian Woman, Germans are awfully slow in building up the relationship 😂). I made a very good friend in South Korea. He was assigned to me as a technical assistant. Most of the time I was go out with him and we had a very good time. In the meantime, he lives in Berlin/Germany and works in the same department as me 😊 If I had to emigrate, South Korea would be at the top of my list.
I'm glad that she clarified that they don't have to be white as when stating the nationality of the men they want to date, most of the time they usually mean 'white men'.
The girl with the yellow mask wearing all blue must be loved even more by her parents cus she made it clear, I love my culture and the men of my culture. Looking inward into the culture I have the most respect for her being interviewed. Although all the other women were very clear and elaborative on their answers.
@@Lan96 Yeah she wasn't against foreigners but I can't be with someone who talks down on her own people. Most of the other women were making fun of the physical appearance of Korean Men.

Good to see a range of opinions from the people interview and the interviewer know when to hang back or ask additional questions to move the conversation in the right direction. The woman in the white shirt is great. Naturally pretty but also able to explain her points well without falling too much into a stereotype. Perhaps its finally time to make a trip to South Korea (maybe even as a side trip when I next go to Japan).
The Movies girls was so funny... midway into the chat and she suddenly now went to the States and England but only has a perception from how foreigners are from the Brad Pitt movie. as an american, i can say dating, and marrying a different culture is HARD. i was married to a chinese woman for 6 years..and its hard. but damn im gonna learn korean and move there yesterday...
In Asia, South Korea, Taiwan, and of course Japan are the countries to visit and get connected with (make friends, learn the language, culture, etc.). I love their focus on education. They are always learning/sharing something. It's just openess, curiosity, and the urge to learn (new things), that'll make it a rich experience. If you want to learn Chinese, don't go to China, go to Taiwan, or Singapore, it's much better, and a much richer experience.
I could be wrong but I think like most Asian cultures when they refer to foreign men they usually are referring to white males ie European etc. Brown or darker skin is not something traditionally viewed as a positive trait in Asian cultures from what I’ve seen other Asians say in other videos. I appreciate their honesty, and understand that it’s mostly a cultural upbringing, and does not necessarily depict every individual or family.

Interestingly enough, my wife is Korean and when we first started dating, she was a bit insecure because of the language barrier. But, after 2-3 years of dating (when she felt her English was really good), she told me exactly the same things these girls are saying about foreign men. Also, Korean women (born and raised) are such keepers - Wife material to infinity and beyond!
I really enjoyed this. SO much personality between each one of the girls and what they are looking for in their respective men. That girl who loves California looks like she would be a lot of fun!
@9:01 It seems that the woman has travelled to many countries, including England, Spain and America. However, she was misled by the American who told her that having a good body is a sign of wealth, it is not, this is because you don't need gym equipment to train you can literally train in the park using your own body weight. The American who told you that just wanted to believe that they were rich by setting the bar very low so that she be misled into think that everyone with a good body is rich. Ps When the woman made the comment about having a good body being a sign of wealth, her friend couldn't stop laughing. She tried to contain her laughter, but her facial expressions and body language gave it away. It seemed like the friend found the comment to be amusing, but didn't want to be impolite by laughing out loud. She kept trying to suppress her laughter but couldn't, her movements of rock back and forward, her facial expression showed she was laughing hard but was trying so hard not do so which made me laugh because her friend didn't even notice and just kept on talking.
The thing is that Korean and just many Asian women in general, see a Chris Hemsworth and let that represent all Western men. As an American I can assure you that there are very few Chris Hemsworth level dudes out here.

I rarely ever rate the interviewer. But mate, you could be a journalist. I like that you don't push on to a point of becoming cringy. I personally, as a Danish Person, wouldn't date a Korean. But you still managed to keep me watching lmao. I appreciate that you didn't start "You like Black Guys or White Guys?".. seen so many interviewers in America just feeding on like "What is wrong with a ..." just to piss of viewers of that ethnicity. Andit is great that you also seem unbiased and act like they are supposed to educate you. That is why they are comfortable answering your questions.
I'm Caucasian, and growing up I went to school with a lot of Koreans. I had the opportunity to date Korean girls. The biggest issue to overcome is how the family views the relationship. In most cases marrying outside of Korean culture is frowned upon. Especially by the patriarch. I know things have become a bit more liberal, but overall it does carry a sort of stigma.
Korean and Japanese women are sensationally beautiful, but socially ambitious, whereas Filipinas are more likely to be Christian, speak good English, and are more accepting and less socially ambitious, so I think the stats might show that the huge number of "Asian fever" marriages are tp Filipinas, but many of them don't even seen themselves as Asian. Am I wrong about the stats? I mean foreign women, not with citizenship already. Also Filipinas might be more willing to sign a pre-nuptial agreement.
I love Asian women who are open to dating foreign Men, especially if specifically black Men because I would like to settle down with an Asian lady. I love how they carry themselves.
@1:24 "Foreign men are cool, tall, and handsome". We all know who she was talking about, and she was talking about Jerry. That's why her friend was laughing because they knew who she was referring to. Look at the way she looking at him when saying those words, she wants him. I don't know Jerry's history in the sense of whether he was born in the country or moved there. If he was born there, it would make sense why he speaks Korean so fluently, and if he moved there, he would have lived there for years to speak it so fluently.
I’m finding hard to picture what a foreigner is to them. I guess it’s just y’all western or Northern European people ? South European men are quite average to short. Also do neighbouring countries count as foreigners too? 😂 I’m just curious
There nothing hard in dating anyone, if the first reject go to another one , eventually you will be accepted, dating is same everywhere, I once dated a Korean girl when I was there so I know this it's pretty is , RUclips is making it very scary
"I want a American guy because of their good physique" LOOOOOOL "They have better physique compared to Koreans" "I like soccer players" This girl is talking endless non sense.
If everyone around the worlds frame of reference is Hollywood movies - of course they believe in nonsense. If they think the average American male looks like Tom Cruise or Brad Pitt (and those guys are late 50's now) they're in for a mind numbing shock when they meet a real average American middle aged man.
I think this is a little bit true, Koreans tend to be less obese, But BMI is flawed because if you’re smaller you have an advantage and are more likely to not be obese. Many Korean men I see are skinny fat, They have skinny figure but not much muscle and they have small frames and are kind of chubby, But not obese because they don’t weigh a lot. American men tend to be bigger and have bigger frames with more muscle, Don’t forget bmi only measures weight not muscle, fat, bones, or anything else.
Nice interview.. so it’s all comes to physical differences between Korean men and foreigners.. language barrier is also a big issue. When it comes to culture we can all learn from each other
I asked my Japanese friend how he's able to tell Japanese and Korean women apart, as there is some genetic crossover there and it's impossible for me. I'm good at telling Chinese and Japanese apart, but Korean always messed me up. He said he has a 95% foolproof technique. This isn't a joke as I was quite curious. So he says to me it's basically three things. 1. If she looks like she can throw a punch, she's probably Korean. Japanese women go out of their way to look demure. 2. She's wearing a push-up bra or has cleavage. Again, see point 1. You'll sooner catch a Japanese woman wearing a scarf or overalls with four sweaters. And last and most important is 3. The facial expression. A Korean woman looks like she's either about to burst out into laughter or tears at any moment while the Japanese are taught to "be like sea". Now rewatch the video, what do you think?
I always thought japanese look incredibly different than other asians, very unique features (probably due to island isolation). Chinese vs Korean is harder for me (and Mongolian vs Korean is sometimes impossible)
There's always going to be edge cases too, its impossible to always be right. Someone had an adventurous grandparent here and there. So I click on this video by Awesomeworld and its three women from china, korea, and japan and I was able to tell them apart right away. The system works!
I agree that Japanese girls demure, but Korean girls are not brave enough to punch That's how Japanese consume Korean girls. I have seen a lot of men on RUclips who have foreigner dated Korean girls say that Korean girls are very shy and introverted. It's relative. Compared to Japanese girls, I think girls in all countries will look like that.
I have to hear them speak. I don't know Japanese (yet), Chinese or Korean, but I know the sounds each of them makes. That's the only way I can tell. Based on looks, impossible for me.
@@Kululu-e3e That's true. Japanese, They really painting themselves and others in that weird way. From my perspectives, Japanese tend to avoid (or maybe afraid) showing their opinion for some reason on the other hand Koreans straight up to their opinions. Japanese they somehow think these difference is from that The Koreans are aggressive and The Japanese are nice and genuine which is absolutely ridiculous lol. They literally live in their own fantasy. They really think that way and used to say those kind of things to Koreans in internet without a bit of shame. Actually you say something of your honest thoughts in Japan you would be considered Big personality which is they apparently unvalue.
Great interviewer asking the exact follow-up questions. It seems not all Koreans are racist after all, but surely they have funny stereotypes snd views on Western guys (English men are gentlemen, Americans are Brad Pitt looking, everyone has a physique of CR7)
There are language and cultural differences for sure, but at the end of the day people are people the world over; a hug is a good thing in any culture and turning your back on someone is a bad thing. If we're willing to work through the differences then you have the same chance for success as being of the same culture.
That's just straight up bullshit. Let's go to Burkina Faso and let's compare their culture with Netherlands. Why are we pretending like race is not real?

How'd you meet her?
My own experience:
2022 I was here for 50 days from June-August. I used mostly Tinder to find dates and i was able to get a date every few days.
I went to bars twice and girls would come up to me to talk (in English).
This year has been much more rough, maybe I got lucky last year, or maybe I'm uglier this year :D but I've had a little less success.

Learned Thai. Feel more "bubbly" and animated when speaking Thai, just like Thai people are lol
Wow I never thought of it like that. I want to learn Spanish so bad. I think I'd act more confident and sexy and spicy/sassy if I did😂💕

I speak two languages. In America I have no issue speaking English. In spanish speaking countries and depending on the country, you are right the personality change hits slightly lol.

There are good and bad foreigners just as there are good and bad Koreans. You have to learn to see a person's heart to know who the person is. We are all bias to some degrees. Also, some cultures and religions look down on women as properties and not as fellow human beings.

What is BIGGER with a straight face killed me! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I travelled to Romania often for holidays and Europeans would just ask ‘why’
Romania is in fact one of the most beautiful countries I’ve ever visited (out of at least 50 I’ve been to), I would say top 5 easily. It’s such a wonderful place that I even proposed to my wife there, in a small town in Transylvania, a truly wonderful part of Europe.
Sorry to hear that people react this way when you tell them you’re from Romania, I hope you can convince them what a lovely place it is!
Sorry for your loss❤️

The ladies would be surprised that not every western guy looks like Brad Pitt or Ronaldo 😂 Just like not every South Korean looks like a Kpop idol.
I'm from Germany and was surprised how uncomplicated it is to date, as long as both speak English.
Or both speak Korean. You live in korea?

I'm guessing you're referring to the possibility of culture shock when two cultures come head to head in some respects.
Why not Hong Kong and Macau? Those are great cities
why not China? They also have richer culture and tradition.
😅
I could be wrong but I think like most Asian cultures when they refer to foreign men they usually are referring to white males ie European etc. Brown or darker skin is not something traditionally viewed as a positive trait in Asian cultures from what I’ve seen other Asians say in other videos. I appreciate their honesty, and understand that it’s mostly a cultural upbringing, and does not necessarily depict every individual or family.
Simple answer, if youre white youll find a relationship, if youre black youll have a bodycount of over 100 , good luck to every other ethnicity😭 lived there for a year and spoke to a lot of foreigners on military bases and thats just how it be

Ps
When the woman made the comment about having a good body being a sign of wealth, her friend couldn't stop laughing.

"and act like they are supposed to educate you". I like this analysis.
I'm Caucasian, and growing up I went to school with a lot of Koreans. I had the opportunity to date Korean girls. The biggest issue to overcome is how the family views the relationship. In most cases marrying outside of Korean culture is frowned upon. Especially by the patriarch. I know things have become a bit more liberal, but overall it does carry a sort of stigma.
understandable
Korean and Japanese women are sensationally beautiful, but socially ambitious, whereas Filipinas are more likely to be Christian, speak good English, and are more accepting and less socially ambitious, so I think the stats might show that the huge number of "Asian fever" marriages are tp Filipinas, but many of them don't even seen themselves as Asian. Am I wrong about the stats? I mean foreign women, not with citizenship already. Also Filipinas might be more willing to sign a pre-nuptial agreement.
The language barrier is definitely intimidating. I’ve experienced second hand but if you can speak a foreigners language it opens them up immensely
If your a white man, don't worry, you will get all the girls
Once you are married, you’ll appreciate the language barrier.

If everyone around the worlds frame of reference is Hollywood movies - of course they believe in nonsense. If they think the average American male looks like Tom Cruise or Brad Pitt (and those guys are late 50's now) they're in for a mind numbing shock when they meet a real average American middle aged man.
Maybe she only sees wealthy Americans who can afford to travel to the other side of the planet.
I agree that Japanese girls demure, but Korean girls are not brave enough to punch
That's how Japanese consume Korean girls.
It seems not all Koreans are racist after all, but surely they have funny stereotypes snd views on Western guys
(English men are gentlemen, Americans are Brad Pitt looking, everyone has a physique of CR7)
