I have done an intercooler, full exhaust, intake, hks bov high flow cat and a test pipe. I plan on doing injectors and a mishimoto radiator. Should I do a canned tuna or a custom one
I have a 2010 BK1 that is going to the machine shop for head & block work. Adding Weisco 86.5mm pistons & rods, GSC stage 2 cams, Treadstone Intercooler good for 500 hp, oversized intake/exhaust valve with BC valve springs & titanium retainers with new manganese bronze valve guides and stems. I already have the Tomei MX7960 turbo with Deatschwerks 550 injectors with fuel pump as well and adding a fuel return system and replacing bushings for the rear differential and tossing in a stage 2 clutch with a A/F AEM gage added to the cluster. I already have a tune (canned) from SFR but would prefer to come to Chicago if needed to data log and have you custom tune for the add-ons and work done since I assume the cams will require this with elevated lift on the intake & exhaust. Am I right? Will the car even start with all the changes? And I have not cats but use a O2 MXP pipe with ISR downpipe and opening up to a 3" ISR exhaust out the back from 2.5". Was running 20lbs of boost still something went wrong requiring the engine tear down.

Yes bk2 and other platform videos' will follow. For canned tune dyno results, its hard to come by since people dont dyno often afterwards but they are all based on our custom tunes so they aren’t very far off from custom tune results
If I have a stock engine, with alpha speed tune. Then later on do bolt ons like air intake, intercooler, o2 housing etc. how does the tune react to these.
canned tunes will adjust to the different air flow characteristics as you add parts to the car. only time you would need a full custom tune is if you changed injectors or turbo itself.

I have a key start ECU from a usa car that i would like to send for tune...my car is a Canadian car key start SRF tune told me that can make it work.... but your saying it will not work confused

Hi if you have aftermarket injectors it might be a hot start issue which can be mostly worked out with a tune, just need to speak to your alphaspeed dealer. If you are running stock injectors, try checking the spark plug coilpacks for any damage,
I ordered the cheapest tune for the genesis coupe with 93 octane. But I forgot to burn out the remaining 87 in the tank. It's only a little I will burn it out

We can’t answer what another company does but we do not offer pretuned option for Canadian immobilizer cars

Tune helps quite a bit and aftermarket flywheel helps as well to take weight away from the oem’s heavy dual mass
