Azhar came from a very modest background. His cricketing exploits meant a complete transformation of life for him and his family which is really happy and lucky. In countries like pakistan, if you are born poor there are a few ways out especially since access to quality education is rather expensive. Cricket is one of those few options but in a country of nearly 300 million and a class of decision makers who couldnt care less about merit, you need a lot of things on top of raw talent to make it through.
Cricket Golden Memories, was Azhar Mahmood a wasted talent like Basit Ali, Asif Mujtaba, Zahid Fazal & Imran Nazir for pak team in cricket, please let me know.

Imran nazir had a fair go approx 79 odi matches only 1900 approx runs but he was far better talent. Azhar should have played more.

I saw this innings of Azhar Mahmod on TV when I was in 8th Class golden days of my Childhood it remembers me to take my old bat in my hand and then I use to practice like Him. Bachpan ki yaden hen is 1 Innings men jis k bad Azar Mahmood Pak team ka musakil player ban gaya.
