@cwarren2buy all time leading Steelers wr and not even close, 2 time Superbowl winner and a. Superbowl MVP, with many more accolades. His stats surpass those of Lynn Swann and John Stallworth who are both in the Hall. He will be in the HOF for sure.
He's not in, yet? He should been in already. 1st ballot. I lived in Pittsburgh his entire career. Hated every nano-second I lived there. Except Sundays. That's when Big Ben, Hines Ward and Chris Fuamatu-Ma'afala were playing. Fuamatu-Ma'afala was a fan favorite. Mine, too. Loved the chants of "Fooo-Fooo" everytime he touched the ball. lol He ran tough and angry. Like the opposition was trying to take his money.
To say he was underrated is an understatement . So proud to have his autograph on my Steelers throwback helmet . He’s at least as great as Swann and Stallworth.
He is 1 of 2 now. His teammate Ryan Clark broke Willis McGahee's jaw in a game. Hines was the first ruclips.net/video/zSWcPkuvaXw/видео.htmlsi=EXN5NvsFHkePfA46
I miss being a kid and seeing Hines Ward, Troy Polamalu, Big Ben, The Bus, all these legends play for my home team and I didn't realize just how great they were at the time.
Without a doubt or hesitation, HINES WARD is the greatest steelers receiver of all time and definitely my favorite receiver of all time, the fact that he's not in the hall of fame is a crime, 1000 receptions, superbowl MVP, 2 time superbowl champion, multiple 1000 yard seasons, what else does he have to do? Hines deserves to be a hall of famer, the voters need to make it happen.
He did all aspects of the position. His blocking was off the charts. He would take a shot over the middle and get up smiling. H played the better part of one season with bad hamstrings. Most would have checked out for most of the year. His numbers match others of the same era. I think even moreyards than some. And he played on a team run first
Out of all the Steelers eras to come before the nfl was brought to us by draft kings, I’m glad I was able to watch 2004-2016 Steelers best Steelers overall to watch
Hated Pittsburgh growning up. (Bengals fan) But will admit, it was impossible not the respect Hines Ward and Troy Polamalu. I don’t think people realize they weren’t the fastest, strongest, or most talented. But they gave their heart and soul every single play and it made them look invincible. Hall of Fame no brainers.
Many people forget that he was a QB at Georgia. Two rule changes because of him. The peel off block to protect the LB’s and DB’s. Allowing receivers to catch ball and come down before being tackled.
Nobody enjoyed playing more than this Man ...we tried to replace him with rookies 3 years in a row and just realized he was the answer to all our problems. Smiling the whole time
Dude ran like a bruiser running back, blocked like a Tight End, and had the most infectious smile. Miss this era so much. And not even because we were winning rings. Life was just so much simpler and the world didn't feel like it was on the brink of insanity.
Hines changed the game, no doubt a hall of famer. Someone needs to recognize that theres no player in the history that played his position like he did!!! Now show this man the respect he deserves n vote Hines ward in the hall of fame.
I met this man on my 10th birthday in Pittsburgh. He bought me my first game console. He has been and will always be my favorite Steeler and football player of all time.
If anyone is confused as to what a first ballot Hall of Famer looks like, just watch this mans career hi-lites. Correct your mistake guys and put this man where he belongs...CANTON.
Love this dude! 1999-2000 I was a senior at Shenango High (about 50miles north of Pittsburgh). Me and some friend skipped school and went to some malls in Pittsburgh (it was still the '90s... it's just what you did). Anyways we spot some dude wearing a North Carolina Tarheels basketball outfit, decked out, white Nikes and big diamonds in his ears and I'm like I think that's Hines Ward and my boys didn't believe me so we followed (stalked) him around for awhile and he stopped us in Sharper Image and just said "yeah, it me!", we cracked up. He went with us to the middle of the mall where there was a sports card kiosk and we bought some Hines Ward cards and other Steelers stuff and he signed everything. He bought us all an Orange Julius and then left! I guarantee he'd still remember us because we had him laughing non stop for an hour! He fucking hung out with us for an hour!!! I've always been a Steelers fan but I rooted for him extra after that!!! Btw.... I had to admit to my parents I cut school because everyone had heard our story about meeting him and getting his autograph on stuff and it got back to them. Oh well, worth it!!! #86 LEGEND!!!
Hines was the complete football player. I remember when he was at UGA. He played quarterback, running back, and ohh... receiver too.❤ Amazing! I was like this guy can play Anything! Lol! Probably my most favorite UGA player. 😀
He’s also one of the most underrated ladies man for the Steelers. Even on the backend of his career I’d see him with multiple girls that were 10 out of 10 I graduated high school with lol
If you don't think he belongs in the HOF, you know nothing about football. He just didn't catch and blocked, he was the most clutch player to play his position ever.
He should have been in the Hall of Fame a long time ago. The toughest hardest blocking receiver in NFL history
Why he isn't is a crime
Probably not why he not in
@cwarren2buy all time leading Steelers wr and not even close, 2 time Superbowl winner and a. Superbowl MVP, with many more accolades. His stats surpass those of Lynn Swann and John Stallworth who are both in the Hall. He will be in the HOF for sure.
Gave no quarter; asked for none.
You right, Hines Ward is the toughest receiver in nfl football period!!!!!!
Hines Ward needs to be in HOF.
He will be eventually
FAX🔥🔥🔥🔥
He's not in, yet? He should been in already. 1st ballot. I lived in Pittsburgh his entire career. Hated every nano-second I lived there. Except Sundays. Such a badass WR they had to change the rules to protect linebackers.
Ward had fucking hands too man he made some incredible catches
The most complete receiver I've ever seen. Definition of football player.
I miss that entire team. Hines set the tone that Steelers Offensive couldn't be bullied.
Hines took big hits and gave them too all with a huge smile on his face. He needs to be in the HOF
You are sure right.
This man should be in the hall of fame.
The fact that he's not is a crime against NFL & Steelers fans
H.o.F my favorite Steeler of all time. Love you Ward!!!!
An athletic beast.....who played QB.... and broke a linebacker's jaw. A hybrid *monster*!
Hines WARD. HOF ER. PERIOD. PUT HIM IN.❤❤❤💛💛🖤🖤💛💛🖤🖤💛💛🖤🖤
One of my all time favorite Pittsburgh Steeler.
Enjoyed 84 but just made me miss 86 even more. Get this man his gold jacket
Hines was a beast
I miss that
What are most admired about Hines Ward is his teammates could count on him for absolutely every play no matter what.
Hines was so good. What he lacked in speed he made up every where else. Such a talented ball player
He really is underrated
by who?? EVERYONE loves hines this needed a different title
@@navon_zsteelers fans love him, main stream media don't mention him when then they should.
He should be the receivers coach in Pittsburgh!
He is still a lil salty with pit and Tomlin for getting released
Best blocker for a wide receiver !!!!!!! On top of being a great receiver !!!!! He wasn’t playing around . Big fan !! May God bless 🙏🏻💪🏼
And best receiver at fighting for extra yardage to convert third downs
one of the best ever, I don't think ppl have forgotten
Hines Ward should've been inducted in the HOF a long long time ago WTH. This man was a beast 🔥🔥
To say he was underrated is an understatement . So proud to have his autograph on my Steelers throwback helmet . He’s at least as great as Swann and Stallworth.
Even Bane can’t stop him 🔥
Not even Big Ben could escape bane that’s how underrated Hines ward is
Yes! The man, the myth the legend!!! The man that made them change the rules
Hines was a menace
THIS MAN SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE HALL OF FAME!!!💯
He is the only player In NFL history to break someone's jaw
He is 1 of 2 now. His teammate Ryan Clark broke Willis McGahee's jaw in a game. Hines was the first ruclips.net/video/zSWcPkuvaXw/видео.htmlsi=EXN5NvsFHkePfA46
He need 2️⃣ gold jackets 🧥 🧥 one for the HOF and another for them taking so long ❤
If Hines Ward gets in demaryius Thomas should also get in considering he’s a better WR than Hines
I miss being a kid and seeing Hines Ward, Troy Polamalu, Big Ben, The Bus, all these legends play for my home team and I didn't realize just how great they were at the time.
Thee Greatest Steelers receiver and Greatest Blocking Receiver in NFL History. The reason his jersey hangs on my wall period.
What's his name then
@@Fading-Gaming Hines Ward
Appreciate it i didn't know his name 😂😂@EGarza-og9vw
@@EGarza-og9vw he's not the best that belongs to AB definitely the most loved and toughest though
Guy was ruthless and talented. Hands down my favorite WR I have watched for Steelers.
Ward won two Super Bowls and was a Super Bowl MVP.
Ward was ice cold in the postseason gang…
88 catches for 1,181 yards and 10 touchdowns in 18 games
I loved watching Hines ward ...
I want those days back
Hines is that dude
Dude was always smiling, never saw him angry before
Without a doubt or hesitation, HINES WARD is the greatest steelers receiver of all time and definitely my favorite receiver of all time, the fact that he's not in the hall of fame is a crime, 1000 receptions, superbowl MVP, 2 time superbowl champion, multiple 1000 yard seasons, what else does he have to do? He knocked a guy cold, then called over the doc to help em out 😂
Im a Ravens fan. Hines ward was Troy Palomalu on offense
Loved watching Hines play! Still have one of his jerseys in the closet. He definitely deserves to be in the Hall of Fame!
Hines was a different breed. They broke the mold with him.
The dark knight rises kick return was crazy
Many people forget that he was a QB at Georgia. Two rule changes because of him. The peel off block to protect the LB’s and DB’s. Allowing receivers to catch ball and come down before being tackled.
The only WR that LBs feared! Unique !
Nobody enjoyed playing more than this Man ...we tried to replace him with rookies 3 years in a row and just realized he was the answer to all our problems. Smiling the whole time
One of my favorite receivers of all times! Straight dog! Love you brother! Steelers for life
Best "all round" WR all time . Can block . Can throw. Good rout runner. And catch of course. all round great
Dude ran like a bruiser running back, blocked like a Tight End, and had the most infectious smile. Miss this era so much. And not even because we were winning rings. Life was just so much simpler and the world didn't feel like it was on the brink of insanity.

Could you imagine a QB doing that to you…Dude was devastating lives out there…Hines was my all-time favorite player
His Position was Wide Receiver ......But he was a FOOTBALL Player .......
Hines was a beast. Probably still is lol.
I met this man on my 10th birthday in Pittsburgh. He bought me my first game console. He has been and will always be my favorite Steeler and football player of all time.
They even made a rule because of him hitting defenders.... he needs to be in the HALL OF FAME...
The greatest receiver in Steelers history. Once in a lifetime receiver just as Troy is a once in a lifetime safety
Hines Ward was one of the best overall players ever! True gem 💎
If anyone is confused as to what a first ballot Hall of Famer looks like, just watch this mans career hi-lites. Correct your mistake guys and put this man where he belongs...CANTON.
So glad Hines was a STEELER! One of the toughest WR ever!!!
86! What a Warrior!!
Just great watching his film .. Talk about playing with heart n intensity 😎
Every year im more and more, im supprised that he isn't ever mentioned in any of our Odense coaching vacancies.
Not even Bane could stop this man from scoring
You always felt confident when he played. He was never going to let you down when it mattered.
Hines Ward, in Pittsburgh nicknamed the Smiling Assassin
Toughest wide receiver ever #PS4L
He changed the game for slot recivers n set the tone blocking
That’s why he’s my favorite receiver and I own his jersey. Ward!
I remember that TD when the field started collapsing! I was there!!! That was a very weird ride home and next few months...
Love the content keep it up🎉
Crushed as a receiver and crushed as a blocker
All around-- one of the greatest.
Back when we were good!!
😔
He was recruited by Georgia as a DB but they found out he was so intelligent that they had to put him at QB just to get him on the field.
Hines changed the game....they had to alter the rules because he hit people SO HARD. We'll never see another Hines Ward.
Fierce with a smile that shines like the sun!
Look up Art Monk Hall of Fame. That's what's going to happen to our boy.
Him and Marques Colston are some of the most underrated WR ever.
PUT HIM IN THE HALL ALREADY!!!
Pittsburgh should have him working on our staff!!
ward and Polamalu were the golden days
Absolutely. My favorite steeler
Miss hines, hope he gets in the HOF one day.
Smiled after he cracked the living hell outta who he was in front of that dude was different
They don’t make them like him anymore . Was the best at what he did. No WR will ever put fear into a D like he did
One of a be million!!!!!!! He was a Beast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you don't think he belongs in the HOF, you know nothing about football. He just didn't catch and blocked, he was the most clutch player to play his position ever.
One of the few Steelers I actually like.
He was a DAWG I believe in college he lost both his ACLs n still performed at a high level in the NFL
