Would you be able to close a tonnue cover with these installed on oem racks? Do you have 6 or 5ft bed ? Thanks

My utili track system on my frontier is not flush with the bed. It's actually an inch or so lower and this won't work. Any idea how to modify bracket length so it's long enough to go in channel and over top of bed lip?

Looking for the same thing for my $3500 mountain bike, but any locking ideas? I can maybe cable lock mine to my truck, but those cable locks are still "cuttable".

I use a heavy duty rubber coated 3/8 or 1/2 inch steel cable. Nothing is theft proof but that at least deters the quick smash and grabbers.

I use this mount to hold two RADmini ebikes in the back of a 2020 Ford F-150. Driven hundreds of miles without issue. For security, I use a think locking cable through the frame of each ebike and through the cargo tie down in rear corners of the truck bed. The only pain with these is if you want to use a bike cover to further protect you bike on longer trips and for a bit of extra security. I put some 2" grommets in the covers so these straps could slide through. Not happy with the final solution as it's a pain and if we're carrying the bikes, I want it to be easier to access them. I will say for our ebikes, it took about an hour to slide the bracket along the truck bed for the best fit.

You uploaded this a few months ago. I am thinking about buying the same racks for my Tacoma. So I was wondering how this is working out for you?

I still like the product and my modifications are holding up well. I’ve left it on the bed this whole time and it’s not rusting and the 3M tape is holding up great. If I’m taking my wife and boys with me I just a tailgate pad instead but if it’s just me I use this rack since it’s quick and I’m not worried about scratching the bike up with it.

Just use the front part and angle the back to fit in the bed, close the tailgate. Throw a strap on each side of the handlebar tofront tie downs. Bike will never move
