I think they meant that the ultraboost foam is 30% lighter, not the whole sneaker is 30% lighter. So if you take the upper out of the equation, 60 grams drop is kinda substantial.
To be honest, I wish they would've kept the ultra boost 19 in production. I loved he look of the 21 & 22 but I found that the 19 were more comfortable despite having less boost. I HATE the 21s and 22s for running if it isn't speed session.
I definitely think it’s the most attractive ultra boost yet. As a non-runner myself, is it a $190 lifestyle sneaker for me? Not a chance. But when it goes on sale around Black Friday ‘23 I’ll probably be curious enough to pull the trigger.
no need for black friday bro just keep on checking their site every couple of weeks they always have discounts and free coupons the yeezy deal fked them hard and the economy is going to shit so shoes are heavily discounted. i bought 5 adidas pairs just the last 2 months
Actually stoked on these. I like the look so much more than the 21 and 22. I like how adidas mellowed out how the boost comes to a point on the heal, was never a fan of that profile. These are a definite cop for me.
Been wearing UB21 for a while, and it's so comfy despite being a bit heavier than other sneakers I have. Love the design and this particular colourway. Hope they add more colours!
what sneakers are u even wearing if 360g is heavy? standard j1 retro weighs around a kilo, n my 4s are close to 2. you gotta be like wearing exclusively slides cuz 360 grams is so light already
Remember Adidas is advertising that reduce weight ina size 13 (More mass more reduction) when steeping down to a 8 or 9 it scales differently (less mass). It aging to be close to 18-21%. Hope you're able to update your viewers.
You’re instincts are good , Ultraboost 19 is more comfortable that 20. They formed up the stack on the 20 and made it a touch thinner too to free up weight. The ultraboost cushions only Achilles is the weight. I’m really enjoying the Terrex Free hiker on that og boost stack in the shoe boot shoot
The lightboost isn’t actually boost I think. The way it is lighter is because it’s not the same compound. Boost is made of ETPU beads but the lightboost is probably supercritical (gaz infused) ETPU or maybe even PEBA.
Same feeling here. Got 4 pairs of UB22 and difference is substantial. Also hope I'm wrong but IMO this material isn't as durable as original UB. Probably Adidas needed something to compete with ZoomX. And while ZoomX is great it is also really really short lasting material.
It can still be the whole shoe if his ub lites are a larger size then the size of shoe adidas referenced when advertising the weight of the 22s. A size 7 ub lite can still be 30% lighter then a size 7 ub 22 even if his size 9 ub lites aren't 30% lighter then a size 7 ub 22.
How do these compare to the Nike Invinsible 3s? Just got the Invinsible 3s and am loving them. I also own several pairs of Ultraboosts and they were my favorite in terms of comfort before trying out the Nikes.
Nike’s invincible run is more on the marshmallowy side of feel on foot, whereas adidas ultraboost (the latest version) feels more springy and plush somewhat.
I didn't look back to the ultraboost.... I move on to the ultra 4Dfwd . It is the most comfortable running sneakers i ever worn. If you like more for casual wear try the X polarboost
I just got these. My feet got pins and needles after my workout (numb) I have half a thumb space for my toe hopefully the knit expands/stretches after some use
Hi Elliot, what would you recommend if I’m looking for daily sneakers (Gym, running, walking daily)? Light Ultra boost or Nike Invincible 3? Thank you.
cool innovation on the boost but damn they shouldve changed the overall design of the shoe. the ub 21/22 look is by far the worst vs the dnas and the 19/20s
Could you please tell me how many grams exactly does your right ultraboost 21 companion weigh? Because my right one weighs 362 grams as yours but left one is 354 grams and I doubt it may be a fake one
Anyone know if this is good for wide footers with flat feet? Can you take out the insole and insert orothics? I would love for shoe reviews to mention this kind of information as it helps a lot.
They might be lighter but they dont last after 3 months they are already battered compared to older generstions which would last for much longer not impressed wont buy light boost again!
I think they meant that the ultraboost foam is 30% lighter, not the whole sneaker is 30% lighter. So if you take the upper out of the equation, 60 grams drop is kinda substantial.
It’s definitely just the boost that is lighter not the whole shoe
Yes. You are right
He’s not street smart
its 30grams lighter and yes they meant the foam is 30% lighter
I have anouther theory. What if Adidas was referring to a smaller size then the size of the ub lites he had when they mentioned the weight of the 22s?
Ultraboost 19 for me was perfect although it was on the heavier side still my favorite by far. Wish I could get my hands on a fresh new pair.
To be honest, I wish they would've kept the ultra boost 19 in production. I loved he look of the 21 & 22 but I found that the 19 were more comfortable despite having less boost. I HATE the 21s and 22s for running if it isn't speed session.
is this a joke, the 19s the worst model ever made...
2020 the best looking imo
The original generations are the most comfy imo 19 and up are not comfortable
@@supportyou10 agreed, 2020 definitely looked the best and comfortable too. I have the triple black pair, wish i also got the core pair to rotate it.
The 19 is easily the comfiest ultraboost. And they don’t bruise the top of the foot at the tongue seam like the DNA does
I definitely think it’s the most attractive ultra boost yet. As a non-runner myself, is it a $190 lifestyle sneaker for me? Not a chance. But when it goes on sale around Black Friday ‘23 I’ll probably be curious enough to pull the trigger.
Dude same

Yup will wait for the right time to cop these.
just copped it for 150aud today, gotta wait for it to come in now though
Its so cheap rn

I thought UB 23 hasnt been released yet??
@@baoan2783 Oops. Meant to say that I liked these better than the 21 and 22. These are technically the 23.
@@heysloppymilkshake can you tell me more specific about these UB lights? How light are they, are they durable, etc

@@felitolco yea but i’m js that 360g is super light already. like it’s crazy that someone thinks that literally a 3rd of a kilo is heavy for a shoe
Great breakdown and comparisons to the previous models without being long winded about it. Cant wait to try these out.
i really appreciate the segment at the beginning where u go into the "history" of the ultra boosts!
Remember Adidas is advertising that reduce weight ina size 13 (More mass more reduction) when steeping down to a 8 or 9 it scales differently (less mass). It aging to be close to 18-21%.

I still prefer the OGs or the 19s

supercritical etpu sounds a lot like lightstrike pro
They said the boost is lighter, not the shoe, no? The fabric still weighs the same?

@@wendigo6667 lighter boost
I oddly think these are the best looking Ultraboosts. The OG’s are cool, but I really like how thick the UB Lights midsole is.
Same. I’m not sure why as I don’t really like many thicker sole shoes but these seem to work for me.
19 was the most premium look .. but it seems they’re moving away from premium to expensive running shoes
pretty sure that the lines and dots are from the mold used to make the midsole.
Definitely looking to buy these or the ultraboost 22 as I'm standing at work all day.
Did u buy it? Could u give a small review? I'm buying gtx version. To stay waterproof.
Ultraboost 19 the best Ultraboost silhouette period. Nothing has topped those
Just ordered, im on my feet all day with lower back pain. These might be it!
I ended up choosing this vs Invisible run simply because it looks better IMO
There's like a million of different Ultraboost variants and yet they all look the same lmao
Which are more comfortable, these new ultra boost light or the new invincible 3?
Invincible run 3
@Sanjoy Kundu definitely not
between those 2, I'd still say invincible 3.
@@Kevin-cr4xv alright I'm gonna go for the invincible 3
@@jemrylie thanks m8
glad to see didas finally upgrading their boost
@2:23 it says that its made with 30% lighter Boost material.
Got these for 62 usd 😊 really proud of myself to buy at such phenomenal price.
I just bought them yesterday and they should arrive in a few days can’t wait to try it out
Do people believe the exposed boost will simply go yellow quicker than usual?

Is invincibile 3 good fot wide foot?
@@billy4806 yes, Nike has widened the forefoot area in the latest version more than ever, much wider than version 1 and 2.
@@wonkydonkey7899 i see, thanks for the info
Which should I get it I'm looking for a pair of shoes suitable for running and daily use to work
The theme at the beginning keeps making me think you're playing the halo theme
I didn't look back to the ultraboost.... I move on to the ultra 4Dfwd . It is the most comfortable running sneakers i ever worn. If you like more for casual wear try the X polarboost
Got it for $55 in india on big billion sale. More like black friday 🥳
Thanks for the details comparision. I think the statement is that the boost is lighter 30% not entire the shoe.
Sizing is the most important thing I need to know about sneakers. Sometimes, I wonder if it's just me🤔
I'm usually a UK6, got the size 6, it turned out to be a super snug fit. I recommend getting half a size up
Maybe it's 30%lighter when you take the strings out. You know stuff they don't tell you ?
How's the boost feel compared to older ones other than it's lighter? Is it softer? More responsive? or?
It’s 30% lighter compared to the previous ultraboost LIGHT model which isn’t the 2022 model shown in the video
Do they ever made sneakers for men, all of them looks girlish
seem like they run smaller, i had to go up size 10 . I went up 1/2 size up .
I had this issue as well
I just got these on sale for $67 Canadian!
There laces keeps on opening while running. Not happy Adidas on this. Fix this please !!!
They clearly stated the material is 30% lighter, not the whole shoe lol.
The weight of the shoe is not linear with the size so I think it is up to 30% lighter in a very specific sizing
If it isn’t broken why would they change it
More comfortable than the Nike Invincible 3
Can you try the new chunky Adidas Campus 00s. I really like them and don’t see many videos on them
I think you should try Ultraboost 22 it is more comfortable than Ultraboost 21
I just got these. My feet got pins and needles after my workout (numb) I have half a thumb space for my toe hopefully the knit expands/stretches after some use
Got them yesterday... Noticed same thing
. Did they stretch out?
@@NIK199222 a little but not 100% yet. I only wear them at the gym so 2 hours a day
Hi Elliot, how about sizing? Are they still half size up to better fit?
Yes
Is this another "version" of the ultraboost 22 or the next generation of ultraboost
They ran out of the blue ink for their boxes 😂
the boost is 30% lighter the shoes in total is around 16% lighter
Hi Elliot, what would you recommend if I’m looking for daily sneakers (Gym, running, walking daily)? Light Ultra boost or Nike Invincible 3? Thank you.
Anyone have an opinion on this? I have the exact same question lol
Yeah, I’ve been using these for the exact same things you’ve mentioned for over a month now 😊
hey man, what pants are you wearing in this video? They looks really cool! Thanks
4 BIG GUYS
Nothing beats UB1.0 😹
If you had to choose between these or the Nike Invincible Run 3s, which would you consider more comfortable for everyday use?
Hoka
Asics gel nimbus 25
Invincible run, NB fuelcell, NB freshfoam, Nimbus 25 should be all more comfortable than UB Light, midsole wise at least.
I am after one of these 2 looking on the web when they go on sale. I want to be comfy of course as I am standing all day but have stability too!!!
just come back to casual/running categories lol.
30% mean only midsole parts, not whole shoe?
very helpful 👍
cool innovation on the boost but damn they shouldve changed the overall design of the shoe. the ub 21/22 look is by far the worst vs the dnas and the 19/20s
Adidas needs to return to ub19 which is superior for running in every way my entire feet has connection ground and I don't look like clown
Those boosts look like they have a growth in their sole and not in a good way.
Where do you get those pants! Hard to find jogger like pants. But I’m also a 38-40 x30 kind of guy
Whenever the color pickers are, they are horrible. Like the only good colors are white or black
you wrote tiday and not today
Could you please tell me how many grams exactly does your right ultraboost 21 companion weigh? Because my right one weighs 362 grams as yours but left one is 354 grams and I doubt it may be a fake one
Is on cloud better than ultraboost?
Stoked
2:24 it says 30% lighter BOOST material meaning they used 30% less BOOST for this model compared to previous ones
Hows the cushioning???
Which would you recommend these or invincible 3?
man that bottom foam sole is so overly massive! looks so disproportionate.
I got the orange white one now it's completely black how to clean it ?
Hello, which model is the best in your opinion? DynaSoft Nitrel V5 or ULTRABOOST LIGHT tnx
It said it by size
Side by side with Nike Zoom 3??
I bought ultraboost 2033🔥🔥🔥🔥good one❤
I bought it yesterday
So how it feels?
So…more air?
Shoe is terrible on my feet. Went back to the 1.0s
Just bought a pair for $60
Can i know your pants info in the video ??
So are these the ultra boost 23? Or will the 23s come out later this year?
I think the 23s will be released later, this is just a new type of Ultraboost
Mad pricing .
Are these more comfortable than Yeezy 350s?
definitely
Who is most comfortable, yeezy 350 v2 static or bred, or this ultra boost?
I have five pairs of 350’s if u want comfort for casually day to day ..the Ultraboost is BETTER
Is this the Ultraboost 23? Wtf is going on with these names
Adidas is falling off. I thought last model was ugly, this year is even more garbage
Now I can get my size on $107, is it a good deal?
