Sorry Ken and Orion. I Am A Conscious Buyer, Don't Mean To Be Challenging Or Rude. I Love This Scope And it's Specs, And Even Though I'm Willing To Spend Top Dollar For Real And Serious Equipment, Lets Be Real, In This Scope Range (104 mm) And Price Range, Even Though I Might Be Able To Afford It, Is There A Real Destinct Visual Difference In Other Triplets Of The Ssme Quality And Is that difference Really Worth an additional Thousand?
Hi Rollie, the EON ED-X2 is no longer available. To answer your question though, the unique feature of the EON ED-X2 was that the triplet objective design included two ED elements for more enhanced color correction. Most triplets out there, including the Esprit series, include only one ED element.
