Just played Day 1 of Gofest in Asia. Here's a tip, if you are playing with friends, get into a party. Completing tasks in a party, gets you an extra encounter with the costume pikachu. Was able to get a good IV shiny Pikachu with the crown from doing party tasks
I usually try to remember to party up on events like this but that’s good know, thank you!

Only if the ivs mattered :( it cannot evolve and is not at all a niche league leader

Moves can be learned after global gofest starts at 10am in your timezone and can still be learned until 6pm on Sunday i just learned the moves on Saturday night after event ended the first stages of these pokemon all spawn during the event if you don't have them.
For those wondering, I can confirm the evolutions.

just evolve my charizard and hydreigon both have legacy moves... the event bonus details says fast and charge attacks.. too bad chargabug isnt one them

Stakataka & Blacephalon where spawning in raids alongside all the other ultra beasts featured in the week leading up to GoFest, as well as Necro in New Zealand- the GoFest raids started dropping at 6am & went until 9pm, we had beast balls the whole time with the increased catch rate.
Yup, had this in the U.S. as well
Even though I was a bit under-prepared for the event I knew why and how and did the best I could ahead of time thanks to your content. Great stuff! Thank you!
3:46 yes, if you could get enough energy you could fuse necrozma with a pidgey. This would probably be the best flying and normal type in the game beating mega rayquaza by a landslide.

I think “Beast Balls” give high catch rates. Was silver pineapping Kartanas & catching them w the first ball :D
It makes the ultra beasts almost guaranteed.
I’ve been using normal pinaps on mine and have been catching them within 1-3 balls.
Definitely recommended holding your silvers.

I caught ALL OF THE NECROZMAS AND ULTRA BEASTS I'VE ENCOUNTERED IN GLOBAL GO FEST. Beast Ball and golden razz, GG. I also have Shiny Necrozma. But yah. With beast balls none of them run. It's so powerful it's bullshit

Blacephalon and Stakataka were in 5-star raids all day Saturday (Day 1) in Thailand.
Pretty excited for that ultra god Pidgey Necrozma! 😂

Great Vid, Lucky. Good Questions. But have to correct one: I've seen at least 1 stakataka raid and 1 blacephalon raid today (Saturday), so looks like Niantic may have pressed the wrong button on the raid selection machine XD.
I did over 160 necrozma raids in Sendai. My special background rate was around 20%. Sadly, my hundo didnt get it...
After fusing necrozma w/ wings or mane, can we level up that fusion? Like I assume yes & if ever un-fused it's the necrozma that would have been leveled up but just checking..
What happens if you fuse a Shiny Pokemon with one will it automatically become shiny???????
Day 2 was only better, for me, in that the solar and lunar energy was available. Hatches, catches, shinies, all were better on day 1. Digging the videos.
I got 1k of solar necrozma energy and 770 lunar necrozma energy and a hubro necrozma.
Are you still able to Get more after the event somehow?
When you fuze, do they all get their exclusive move or will it depend like how origin form palkia and dialga were?
Do the 9 raid passes from day one transfer over to day two if I don't use them?
nope
If you fuse a Lucky Necrozma with a non Lucky Solgaleo or Lunala and max the CP, will they both have max CP when I unfuse them?
If so, this might be a way to up them cheaper if you have enough energy.
The Lunala or Solgaleo have a special background.

It's gonna be a great Go Fest! I started raiding remotely last night. Did about 10 Necrozma raids. Already got a Hundo with the weather boost, one shiny and one 98%! I never have raid luck! I'm so stoked.
No catch cards but...whatever.

Some of these really hurt my brain, how do people that paid zero attention have the confidence to be making bold claims like ZERO Cosmog. It's literally right there and surprise you get a free Solgaleo or Lunala to include the other free Cosmog we already got.
I wonder...if you can trade a Dusk Man or Dawn Wing from an alt. account to your main account IF they are lucky friend with one another??
Since the Necrozma falls under the "Legendary" category in PoGo??
You can trade necrozma, you cant trade them when they are fused because lunala/sogaleo is still its own pokemon when its fused,its just greyed out
so the dawn wings and dusk mane necrozma raids on day two also gives you necrozma and their energy for fusion? I was under the assumption you can only raid for necrozma on day 1 then day 2 are only for duskmane and dawnwings or do they get both on day two?
Regular necrozma is day 1 along with all other ultra beasts. On day 2 you can raid only dusk mane and dawn wings necrozma, after completing the raid you will get either solar or lunar fusion energy (around 90-150) and an encounter with a regular necrozma. To actually fuse the necrozma you will need a solgaleo or lunala and necrozma then the 1000 energy and then you may fuse
My biggest mistake was thinking the 18 raid passes could be used freely between day 1 and 2. NOPE! 9 on each…..
Soooo many people werent keen on raiding necrozma! Me: "um more candy, more for trades, catch cards. More licky chances?" I get the rest of the beasts dont spawn, but aside from Kartana and Xuriktree, none really worth it. Necrozma has meta relevance. I still joined!😂 phero and buzz, but menh!
Is it possible to get a a lucky Necrozma with a catch card? What would that look like on screen?
The catch card shows up like normal then turns to the lucky screen
For cosmog candy you can get it through fused necrozma raids!
What happens when you unfuse? Does *everything* go back to normal? Do you need again 11k energy and a lot of candies?
Yes, there are no fusing bonuses like megas. It is full cost and candy
What do you think is a better IV necrozma to fuse, 14/12/12 or 15/12/11 or 13/14/15
I heard if you had background in solgaleo/lunala and fused it with a necrozma with a background you would get a unique background that cycles through both. No?
i got lucky i got 3 shiny Necrozma and one 15-14-15 iv and i raid 22 inperson and 3 remote and that was day1
There are exclusive move evolutions this go fest, I caught a shundo gible and got his com day move, I also evolve a hundo deino I had and got brutal swing, I don’t know if there were other CD move evolutions.
I got 37 shinies playing from 11-5 on the saturday so i think the shiny odds are higher than 128 with the ticket. Probably more like 1 in 64. I think raids were boosted as well.

7k eggs only worth it if friend who sent gift from far away, if nothing else, you get a distance trade then. That being said, i did hatch a shiny ducklett today from Norway (im In usa). Im not going hard on eggs.

wow if the rate is 1/128 my luck was so incredible on day 1 i got so many shinies i missed the comm days for. day 1 i got 21 shinies. and even got a shundo dratini from a mirror shiny dratini lucky trade, and I definitely wasnt super efficient or fast catching just played the full 8 hours
I find it funny we had 3 in person events leading up to this and ive not seen how mich energy those in attendance got. And even my friend wouldnt say how much he got

On pokemon go's website it says you'll get a 3rd different catch card for fuzing a catch card solgaleo/lunala with necrozma with a catch card. Did they just jot word it right?? I can see the three catch card of them separately, but I haven't seen a double catch card fusion. So idk.

No you can’t. Only through evolving or catching in the wild.
I have tested in my time zone to make sure you can learn the moves after 6pm on saturday and you can so the end to learn the moves is sunday 6pm

@@alexkwon6004 yes, everything is based off the necrozma, if you have a lucky necrozma, it will be a lucky fused, but not the other way around
