What I dont like is having to build Pokemon, investing resources and Elite TMs and then they make those mons useless. I like the Counter nerf though, it was too OP.
Also G Stunfisk RIP, they nerfed it with the EQ damage nerf last season and now they nerfed both Rock Slide and Mud Shot again.
I mean certain moves which energy generation changes we don't know how much yet 🤷♂️ also meta changes every season though the next season seems the biggest changes yet. niantic is encouraging us to keep catching new pokemon 😂 they don't want you to use the same pokemon over & over apparently 🤷♂️

I have no idea about PoGO competetive play. Why are some Pokémon still shadow Pokémon? Aren't they weaker than the purified ones?
Shadow Pokémon deal 20% increased damage, but with the trade off of having 20% lower defence.
