Thank you all for the support on this video! I never imagined this would blow up like it did! I'm extremely grateful, and very glad you all liked it! Thanks so much! (1k views...)
@ensignmarker 312 I will usually make songs that I already know the notes to, or generally have an idea for what they sound like, if I dont however, I'll look up "[song name] synesthesia" which shows me all of the notes! Then, I'll also pull up the original to get a good sence of what each track sounds like, and I'll put it all together, making sure to use retro/8-bit noises, and then, somewhere between a half hour - 5h+ (not consecutive) I'll have my finished product! I record it via obs, add the end card, and edit out parts if the video that arent the song, I'll put it into YT, then schedule it to come out sometime later on! Hope this helps!
@@sera_phim_nice yours is cool! for the record, this cover was made a long time ago, and I could definitely do a better job now, but also it doesn't really matter, because we just both like the soundtrack, and are making music, and it doesn't have to be a competition :) (but still, yours is really cool)
Every track is 8-bit! I've seen other "8-bit" songs that have like, a normal bass or a lot of pads that dont necessarily fit into the 8-bit style, so I always try my best to make it as 8-bit as possible, whilst also not limiting myself to any number of tracks or noises within the 8-bit category, as some of the older consoles had had! Glad you liked it though!
@@vectorimagefun when you think about it yeah. the left hand is close enough to rush e and the background arpeggios definitely make this a lot like rush e
Well, there's a lot of practice involved, it definitely helps that I've been playing piano since I was 5, and I've studied music theory (kind of) lol I'm sure you'll get better over time!

I think mine sounds at least a little different, bare mind though, were doing the same song, in the same style, so its inevitable that they sound similar in some regard!
