- We go round bars for you to find where this Irish beer is. It was a hard, tiring job to walk from bar to bar but we were able to locate draft Guinness in several of those we visited. From the very first line entertainment establishments to quieter bars further back, the Guinness can be found. We taste tested it and confirmed it tastes as it should! The price does vary as with all bars here depending on the location and what they offer. Sunny Beach in Bulgaria has hundreds of bars but do try the local drinks they are very good and cost a lot less than the imported ones. Here in Bulgaria the lagers are king, probably due to long hot summers, unlike the Irish climate.
Have fun in the bars here on your holiday, do have sensible fun in the sun .

@@sunnybeachlife5860 I was referring to the parrots on a stick and that charming young lady with a camera ... near Jack's. She and her friends are also operating Dr. Fish, the colourful hair braids, and what appears to be a crêpe shop.

Spiders still isn't open, condor is a can and those were not in this video. Another on bars and prices will show them of course.
Despite the booking and reservation at Kalina Garden I got bumped to the Astoria at the very last minute because Kalina wasn't yet open when I arrived Saturday. It turned out to be a blessing. Nice hotel the Astoria is. I can tell you up front that I don't know how to use my mobile telephone on RUclips and for some reason my wife's name showed up on my comment 2 days ago. But I'll reconfirm that the Mini train did start up and is running as usual. I had the fried octopus at the Funny Pub. It was dear and not worth it at all. I took your advice and had an embroidered cap made by your "Hat Man", just at the back side of the Astoria. A very fine job he did too! 😊
If you watch our videos there isn't one in the Funny Pub at all in over two years . Won't go into details because straight away people will jump on me saying how brilliant it is. We film what we see and experience which isn't the top ones on trip advisor very often. If we edit and publish a video we enjoyed it, we have binned a few where it wasn't good , no point doing the cheap it was terrible video to get views like we see all the time. You are close to the wheel , Aura is lovely and not a long walk, we were in there for dinner yesterday. Staff at colone steak housel are really a great crew , also next wheel.

Ok not seen a train yet just got in for annual haircut. Not seen any trains but could be a test run they do a few with new drivers just before starting

The barrel price has gone up for the bars this year but it seems many are now having it available.

Big beer is 3 leva away from these bars in main areas. I have been on brandy at 2 leva tonight. Don't do imported drinks myself very often

Other than one statement about the price of Guinness draft on the front line being too cheap (after stating the correct price first), it was another very good video showing what's opening up on and the prices for Guinness draft as you travel farther inland. 10 Lev for Guinness draft is a good price for folks coming from Ireland and the UK. Can you show where the Nevis TUI Blue resort is in relation to the main resort? Just wondering how far the walk would be. Can’t wait to explore everything you’ve shown!
It is up a hill, long entrance road so we have not filmed it. It's a 15: minute walk to the mini train nearest point at Helena resort or 10 to a bus stop. It's at the northern end of the resort standing on its own as such. Not easy to really film.
I have lived in Varna for 9 years. I love Sveti vlas and we come down at least 4 times a year. Would be great if you can do a video of that area. Check out Bobby's bar. Venci the landlord is the best. 👌 see you in September mate, cheers.

It's very cheap, it's what I drink in Iglika bar and condor when out, between 3 and 4 Lev a go. They make it at Pomorie a few miles away.
Dave love your videos can you reccomend a nice Chinese restaurant near Flower Street.
Name is Andrew, the Shanghai at the Barcello Mall is the most recomended. Its not like UK you get less dishes as all normal size as such.

The place. I filmed it as it was very clear to read. It's really nice inside as it had a complete refit last year.

You can walk back a few mins and pay half on local beers.

Tonight you can wear shorts all night but I prefer trousers if out late , we sometimes get a thunderstorm early evening for a short time and after it's cooler for a few hours. Good idea to pack a really light waterproof top just in case.

It's up a high hill. Best walk down and get the bus from below the hotel or walk 5 minutes more for train outside the Helena on the front.

Better than we've had in Yorkshire we've had loads of rain and yesterday we had thunder and lightning and hail. we get in at 12pm Friday night to ivanna Palace hotel.
Hi Andrew & Susan. Were back at the start of July and I've heard that there is a pub somewhere that does Scottish square sausage with their fried breakfast , any idea where this is please ? I've struggled to find looking through FB groups etc . Thanks
Not seen anything about that. I will film it and do a taste test if I see any. The cost of a breakfast has gone up more than anything else, on Flower street I saw 22 leva so wont eat one there.
@@sunnybeachlife5860 I won't be paying in the 20s either haha. That would be great if you happen to find the square sausage much appreciated, it was a few years back I was told. We normally just get a nice baguette and some bacon for a quick snack before going out for the day , but will have the odd fry up out or a good banitsa or something else Bulgarian. Thanks

Hello I was just wondering if the prices have increased in spiders, iglika and condor?
Very similar to last year but Guinness will have gone up at spiders. Cocktails 50 cent more at Iglika so rises obviously. English breakfast has got silly prices over 20 leva on flower street

Is Chaika Beach Hotel at the front open this season?
They were trying to clean it up last time we walked past. Possibly a restoration may take place next couple of years it apparently has a new owner.

It's not local beer so coming out from Ireland it's Irish price per barrel but around half the cost in an Irish bar.
