Honestly it was a really great idea to have the USS team chose to save Leon canonically in the end, because think about it they where left in a city to die, which Umbrella didn’t know if they would survive, pretty much alone through being screwed out of their support, and just UMBRELLA being transhumanist genocidal bastards was just way too much. I kind of wish there was more buildup for the conclusion, it didn’t do as much to allude to it, besides Command practically screwing them over. Well what do you expect from psychopathic, extremely Darwinistic, god-complex, atrocity creating bioterrorists who lie to the world about doing good work when all they want to do is evolve the human race by killing everyone. I mean you really look back at RE’s story, I have never seen such a faction that acts like it wants to commit ultimate evil and commit mass omnicide against humanity. Well written Capcom.
I wish Capcom would make a game like this again, with loads of action, amazing combat mechanics, melee combat, acrobatic action, and an arsenal of powerful weapons.....But overall loads of realism in every aspect!
Ok, now extract carefully the parasite for the neuro-cortex. "Absolutely without care put the huge seringe in the brain." - "parasite extracted with success" This got me laughing.
well, these were survivors in raccoon city, they are gonna be strong and lucky. about 99.99% of survivors were infected in the first few days. being a survivor of the leaked t-virus speaks for itself.
It looked like a concept video of the general mechanics, weapons, and character abilities. It does not shit on any particular character to prop up other mercs.

I actually like the idea a team is out there and up against everybody, but not really the "what if" moments with original characters. I don't know, but while playing near end, the cut scene just stopped mid way and it was like a team deathmatch. That really confused me
@@wh3nderson95 I think if the team consists entirely of human players, they can all choose to take the same side. Sadly, kinda hard to have that happen nowadays.
I felt that the final decision scene was a good idea, poorly executed. It just came out of nowhere and didn't have enough development. Felt kind of tacked on.
@@EbonyManta That's a better way to put it. Because the Wolfpack seemed to accept they were left to die and did not have dialogue referencing about renegotiating with Umbrella.
And technically a vector is a being capable of transmitting disease...so shouldn't four eyes name be vector? Specter should be four eyes and vector should be specter. This used to agitate me every time I played.
Same, I believe I was in late middle school or beginning high school when it came out. I know one of the reasons is because it kinda shits on the original ending of RE2 but since it was non-canon I just viewed as light hearted fun and enjoyed it for what it was. I do remember the dlc weapons were broken as shit as the weapons were so op they’d demolish the enemy team in versus. Can’t really remember the other gameplay issues though it’s been so long 😂
It was the heavy marketing of HUNK being a central character and Leon being killed. Both are fan favorites and HUNK was not in the game long enough and killing a main character to prop up unknown characters does not make for a good first impression. (Granted, the game did respect HUNK, the game felt like it disrespected Leon). While the characters and map artwork look good. The gunplay does not always help. The ARs and their damage/sound does not provide feel satisfying. The game does not convey it's character specific mechanics. Such as the unique execution kills of Bertha getting herbs, Beltway's grenades, and other utility. The game excelled at making cool and unique Umbrella/Spec Op mercs. The gunplay did not feel as well developed as it should. The game's above average soundtrack. Works for the paramilitary presentation. You also have to remember this is approaching the time RE6 was coming out. Given the action orientated design. Had the survival horror purists feel heavily neglected.
@@BigMobe And in Singleplayer 2 bots will always pick the opposit. If you play coop theres a chance all players choose the same and it end on that. The canon if it can be considered is the ending where you betray umbrella since they betray you.
Khaos you clearly didn’t play this game if that’s your opinion. This game came only with the Umbrella Soldiers story, to this day you can go to the online store and find the USA soldiers campaign for 20 dollars each half. 40 dollars for an old game’s DLC, kinda of a bad deal right?
This game needs to be remade and added to canon in a really good way that does not conflict with canon like maybe the umbrella characters are responsible for the police stations fall. that simply they killed any guards of the station and led a horde to the RPD causing it to be overrun giving a reason to irons feeling of being betrayed. Maybe they could make them responsible for the helicopter crash in re3 intro of the news chopper showing they shot it down. And how they would destroy any proof of umbrellas involvements in RC.
I loved playing as vector and I really loved the game...it might not be a good survival horror game but it's a damn good action game ..and playing as the USS was an awesome experience!
Late response here. There wasn’t enough diverse set pieces to avoid feeling tedious and the weapon selection all feel the same. Plus the enemy variety felt very limited in the Raccoon outbreak with all the Umbrella experiments. Plus the main selling point that was hyped up was creating what if scenarios that altered the RE timeline. The only instance was the final mission which was to either kill Leon or spare him. That only mission was very anti climactic.
Plan B: You're on your own. Damn, that's betrayal. And any, they're kinda your best choice of soldier and would be bad if they would turn their backs to you. Pretty bad decision of choices e
19:30, banging on door. "Looks at door, hears banging. Looks away from door like nothing is going to happen" It's stupid stuff like that, that's sooo hard to watch. I got this game as a kid when it came out on accident. I told my family I wanted the new Resident Evil game because I saw the trailers for Resident Evil 6 on the TV, they ended up getting this instead and while it wasn't what I wanted I still loved it anyways. Loved the twist ending .
I'd have loved to see a survival game revolving around Racoon city. Not story progressed like this but something like State of Decay 2. Like where you're a survivor in the city but you try to set up a safe haven for the survivors besides you but each survivor can have a consequence. Like one is a STARS member which leaves a high risk nemesis will constantly attack your base if you dont exile them, or you let a person in who hid an bite and now everyone is at risk when he turns if you're not there and such
The music and HUNK's line of "Ready for action" just screams badass! Plus, as crappy [review and score wise] as the game was, the character design and music needs to be praised.
@Jurica Sambol in the last 24 hours, a group of people were quarantined in america and tested. all were released, 1 was infected. yesh, they just let them go before the results. sounds legit.
I really liked the idea of this game and the characters in it but the gameplay and mechanics were awful. It's too bad the storyline isn't canon, it would be awesome to see further development or reference of these characters some time in the future.
It's not that the mechanics are awful, the gunplay feels like it was designed for precision aiming when the enemy design is heavy on swarming the players. From the amount of bullets needed to kill a zombie swarm and BOWs. The ammo placement was sparse and some players would frantically run around in search of ammo. Some animations felt off and hurt the presentation. Where the weight and power of the guns did make some guns feel weak. Like the lazy reload animation, the weird pump animation for shotguns, and SMGs do not deal enough damage. Some of the controll decisions are weird. Like the A/X button meant for dodging and picking up equipment. Meaning some players in a hurry are lunging when they need to grab an herb or ammo. The melee mechanics were not well communicated and the overall utility it offered to the team. (Bertha's execution gives herbs, Beltway causes a small explosion for crowd control, Lupo's execution does good melee crowd control, Spectre's execution causes a flash grenade explosion for crowd control, Vector gets a free mimick on the human target he executes, Four Eyes gets to summon a free creep to assist the team). The game's marketing heavily hinted about HUNK's involvement. Granted the character felt respected but some players felt cheated by how his presence was relegated to the first level. While at the same time, Survival Purists/RE4 fans had their favorite character Leon being killed, which felt disrespectful for their appreciation of the character. This was still 2012, so the survival fans felt heavily neglected by Capcom. I personally love the concept, the Mercs, the presentation, and soundtrack, but gameplay mechanics, seemingly underpowered weapons, and strange marketing decisions heavily soured some fan expectation.
My wish for a RE game in the future: A non-canon storyline of Resident Evil: Bio Warfare, in a first-person mode Call Of Duty and Doom-like gameplay style, 60FPS, featuring HUNK, Carlos, USS Alpha Team, USS Delta Team and UBCS Team. Made by the collaboration of CAPCOM, Treyarch and Bethesda with epic boss fights in every stages from all RE games from RE0 to RE8. Cool, dramatic, emotional storylines, epic missions, awesome and satisfying QTEs finishing moves on enemies (no human enemies please) and bosses, customisable and unlockable weapons, costumes, finishing moves, stages, etc. So many things can be done if done it correctly and properly.
I wish those special operations teams had more screentime and storyline in more RE games and CGI movies, especially HUNK. I mean why it always has to be Leon?
Resident Evil should go along with both Action/Horror and Survival/Horror at the same time. Just imagine being a online room for each map you play with 3 or 4 simultaneously chosen characters in the same map with specific campaigns like Racoon City, for example: as you try Survival with Leon with X objectives, there's someone playing Hunk campaign with Y objectives, a STARs like Claire member with Z objectives, and eventually you cross your paths in a street or something, kill a horde and then continue simultaneously on different directions. A map with 1 hour of approximately campaign would be enough for a part, then you come to another map and etc. It would please all kinds of public, have diversity of gameplay, be memorable for the series, easy matching and of course it would sell a lot. Think about that engine that is already running on RE Village, the systems are more receptive today than ever have been, and it would have the perfect timing for this! Well we are on internet, if you agree please continue this ideia and send on the developers website as an actual ideia :)

Re6
Personally, my experience with this game was a common concept but hey. Its a fun time of a game and you hear ZERO complaints from me.
Thanks 😘
played the hell outta this after school like everyday on the 360
When I started playing it In 2018 I was all over this Mug 24/7 got The Spec Ops DLC and all Intel
Yooo me too this is my child hood game
I like this game too. Granted the USS campaign is short, but I felt like it gets the job done.
I knew Lupo’s voice actress was Nike Futterman as soon as I heard the Asajj Ventress- accented voice.
That's why I loved her character!
Ok, now extract carefully the parasite for the neuro-cortex. "Absolutely without care put the huge seringe in the brain."
- "parasite extracted with success"
This got me laughing.
That first scene was kinda ridiculous umbrella unit should’ve easily made quick work of them.
Dante Mcmillan it was fun
well, these were survivors in raccoon city, they are gonna be strong and lucky. about 99.99% of survivors were infected in the first few days. being a survivor of the leaked t-virus speaks for itself.
Special Forces vs Special Forces. They looked pretty evenly matched.
It looked like a concept video of the general mechanics, weapons, and character abilities. It does not shit on any particular character to prop up other mercs.
If you are referring to the soldiers, they're US SPEC OPS so its actually pretty accurate.
1:27 he gets so excited to blow people up I love it
I loved this game I know not a lot of people didnt but I loved it I would love a part2 for ps4
3 weeks ago? you still playin it? I modded the game so no bullet sponging, weapons have better range, ammo and damage. thinking of making a video soon to show off my mod. If anyone is interested, comment here or msg me directly and I can pass you the edited files and I can teach anyone who wants to mod the files to their needs.
@@KaiNLinda I'm interested man!

I love how Beltway was being professional and tries to keep it together but he suddenly lose it and yells "FUCK YOU" while trowhing a grenade
I actually like the idea a team is out there and up against everybody, but not really the "what if" moments with original characters. I don't know, but while playing near end, the cut scene just stopped mid way and it was like a team deathmatch. That really confused me
it makes no sense you had to kill your comrades who fought along with you the entire time...
It doesn't feel right to me either. Even though the USS are not good people, but I believe they are still comrades at arms.
Since Vector has the camouflage that makes him invisible for a brief period, shouldn't he be named: "Spectre"?
I always thought exactly the same thing.
And technically a vector is a being capable of transmitting disease...so shouldn't four eyes name be vector? Specter should be four eyes and vector should be specter. This used to agitate me every time I played.
This was my second Resident Evil game after 5
Enjoyed it, didn't understand the hate for it back when it came out
it was all gameplay related
Same, I believe I was in late middle school or beginning high school when it came out. I know one of the reasons is because it kinda shits on the original ending of RE2 but since it was non-canon I just viewed as light hearted fun and enjoyed it for what it was. I do remember the dlc weapons were broken as shit as the weapons were so op they’d demolish the enemy team in versus. Can’t really remember the other gameplay issues though it’s been so long 😂
PurpleAce 719 Exactly why it deserves REMASTERED
Biblical Adrian Same here man, those RE games got me into the franchise
I feel like this game would’ve been better as one of those animated movies, like resident evil vendetta ya know?
You're not wrong.
what happens when you chose to execute leon?
Leon dies,Claire gets shot in Face,And Sheryy gets Captured by Umbrella
You fight the players that choose to save him.
@@BigMobe And in Singleplayer 2 bots will always pick the opposit. If you play coop theres a chance all players choose the same and it end on that.
The canon if it can be considered is the ending where you betray umbrella since they betray you.
Resident Evil 4 wouldn't exist.
Alternative title
Slap in the face to the Resident Evil 2 fans
I wish they would put this on PS4!! it was a good co-op game in general. Felt like left 4 dead but resident evil
A remaster would be nice.
I'm tired of games having DLC give us the comple game it's redicules to pay 60 for an unfinished game.
BRO! I WAS THINKING THE EXACT SAME THING!
Not exactly remastered, but the game's for PS4 if you have a PS Now subscription. I really wish you could but it separate though...
This basically L4D2 and COD Zombies combined
Love the mission with Nemesis. We’re basically hired to do maintenance on Nemesis like he’s a car..
4:28 Reminds me of Fallout 3 - the first scene with a Behemoth at GNR.
Angel Valdez Also have them be the ones to calm down the Nemesis.
And also have them be the ones who took down the other 4 out of the 6 t-103's sent to raccoon city
So this is the Umbrella's "lackeys" side of the story? Never played this game but now I get to see the cutscenes without sweating my fingers, thanks!
"Ooh, the site of an operating table gets me excited!"
XD.
I loved playing as vector and I really loved the game...it might not be a good survival horror game but it's a damn good action game ..and playing as the USS was an awesome experience!
Don’t know why people hate on this game. It was good play with your mates and the online pvp was pretty good as well
Late response here.
I grew up with Halo, Halo 2 and the Clone Wars. This game has a nostalgic feel to me; loved it. Can't wait to see what happens to Umbrella!
Halo lan parties were fun and born in 87
Out all the games that have come out this one needs a second chance
Plan B: You're on your own.
Damn, that's betrayal. And any, they're kinda your best choice of soldier and would be bad if they would turn their backs to you. Pretty bad decision of choices e
I'd love to have a remaster of this game! It's one of my favorites!

All this was happening while I was exploring the rcpd on re2 lol
I thought hunk was going to ask about if I'm going to the cloud district very often for a sec there
19:30, banging on door. "Looks at door, hears banging. Looks away from door like nothing is going to happen" It's stupid stuff like that, that's sooo hard to watch. It was super obvious the door was going to break open but for some reason, he looked away. I'm sure there's more cases like this, but ahh it hurts watching people who do stuff like that.
even though this game is not canon and a what-if-senario game, its still kinda gets me which is very awesome and cool
I love this channel. Good videos my friends keep it up.
Thank you!
Like one is a STARS member which leaves a high risk nemesis will constantly attack your base if you dont exile them, or you let a person in who hid an bite and now everyone is at risk when he turns if you're not there and such
This game was pretty dope ngl
Most badass team in gaming. I love this game.
Vector here. Good to see you again, sir.
When Stormtroopers fight Stormtroopers.
Game was ok but the cutscenes made it seem better!
Absolutely wild that these trained soldiers genuinely have worse aim then storm troopers
😂😂😂
Me as a Resident Evil fan I really love this game
HUNK
H: Huge
U: Unbeliavable
N: Neat
K: *KILLIMANJARO*
The music and HUNK's line of "Ready for action" just screams badass! Plus, as crappy [review and score wise] as the game was, the character design and music needs to be praised.
The soundtrack kicking in during the multiplayer was fantastic.
I appreciate Burkin's commitment to his research and feel for him very much . It's sad what happened to him

I loved playing this game.

operation wuhan city.
@Jurica Sambol in the last 24 hours, a group of people were quarantined in america and tested. all were released, 1 was infected. yesh, they just let them go before the results. sounds legit.
it's literally like raccoon city
I'm here my man

Bertha was the best teammate, I’d be super low on health across the map and she’d Usain Bolt just to heal :’)
2:45 wait this dude is LT.KIMS voice actor from gears of war Bro!
Oh and hunk's might be nomads voice actor from ghost recon wildlands
I really liked the idea of this game and the characters in it but the gameplay and mechanics were awful. It's too bad the storyline isn't canon, it would be awesome to see further development or reference of these characters some time in the future.
It is Canon if you want it to be.
That's what Capcom said.
mechanics and gameplay were awful? lol idk about that
It's mechanics are not awful,u just gotta Play and learn my man
It's not that the mechanics are awful, the gunplay feels like it was designed for precision aiming when the enemy design is heavy on swarming the players.
This game does a lot for lore and all the behind the scenes stuff that the mainlines kinda fill u in on thru notes and readable/collectibles
So many things can be done if done it correctly and properly.
runza123 this is just stupid
Trsitin Kovach No it doesn’t. Nice opinion btw.
They should Definitely make operation raccoon city 2 - payback time 😈
Yean boii I would Immediately drop 60$
I'd buy it.
GOD, they really have to make a remake for this game.
This was my first resident evil game.
I wish they would remake this game with better game play mechanics and left shoulder view being an option just like resident evil 6.
I miss this game. Wish it was on ps4

2:45 They played them like a damn fiddle!
The guy who says, “This is a quarantined zone/area.” In the intro, is that the same voice actor for Minh or Kim in Gears of War? And that Russian dude, is he the voice actor for pavlik or some shit like that for gears as well? Seems similar to gears. Never played RE but like watching it on RUclips and the actual movies
They need to do a part 2 to this game with hunk I think this game is massively underrated
Given how universally panned this game was, don't expect a sequel anytime soon.
This raccoon city outbreak should have made a real movie. They missed it big time when they released RE.
I agree, I would have loved to see this in action.
