Actually there is nothing called "hifi" ,it is "hi five"..basically "hi five " society means the westernized society in SriLanka who did greeting like "hii" when meeting someone and putting a hand five,past days like nineteen eighties nineteen nineties. So in India also there are two parties.Hifive society and Namasthey society....But the thing is nowadays all the youngsters do this with their friends.But traditionally the "hi five society " means the westernized society(who spoke English and generally they had money also).My personal 2 penny is,we should remove these words but what this guy says is also correct in SL😂 Sorry if I jumped into your convo.Peace✌❤️
