If you want any detail about any other car or a review you can interact with me on Instagram: instagram.com/car.freak.reviews 1. The lag when accelerator pedal is pressed is not because of transmission and is because of Drive by wire (DBW) and it’s more noticeable with econ on . 2. Never use CVT oils they’ll destroy the transmission. 3. The recommended oil is readily available in Pakistan Honda japan recommends ATF-DW1 ultra which is same as ATF-DW1 (confirmed from Honda japan + researched well ) The difference between both of them is ATF-DW1 is japan made and ATF-DW1 is Thailand made . I’m using ATF-DW1 from 3 years . ( note Local civics also use ATF-DW1 except the civic X ) 4. We Pakistanis mostly use economic cars . We mostly haven’t owned a BMW or an AUDI so we don’t know much about DCT transmission... CVT and other automatic transmissions just have transmission fluids but a DCT (Dual-Clutch Transmission) also has clutch oil (actuator fluid) . Both the clutches are dry but the clutch oil just keeps the clutches from overheating. It functions to cool down the clutches. Clutch oil must be replaced before 40,000kms because it’s a DOT4 brake/clutch fluid and moisture accumulates in it . (Moisture has a very lower boiling point 100 degrees so it can’t cool down the clutches as good as a dot 4 oil ) I’ve seen many many of Vezels and Fit with burnt clutch just because people don’t know about the clutch oil ... that’s all Hope people get some knowledge about DCT transmission and they stop complaining about recalls as recalls were all about software issues .
Sir i really loved your review. I am in a tough spot because i really Love Honda Fit but most of my friends and family are against my decision just because of the word that is out in the market that transmission of fit will eventually fail after 70k Kms driven. I don't like Aqua why should i pay for something i don't even like but i lose the argument when they hand over me a phone call from a Japanese importer and they are like *Bhai fit na lo uska transmission ka masla hai I told them the same k is mein manufactured demand oil use karnay sy nahi hota and they always reply jo marzi kar lo transmission kharab hoga* I don't know what to do i am so confused. This is going to be my first purchase car ever. I really don't Want a local Honda city or aqua but still i also don't want a faulty car because then i will regret i went against everyone's suggestion. Please. Will wait for your reply. Thanks in advance.
Thanks alot for the Support! I know a guy who has been using fit for very long now time and he kept the required maintenance up to the mark and never had a fault but still i would say your friends and family are kind of right in a way that in Pakistan the car mechanics and sometimes even the car owners dont know about actuator fluid or putting the reccomended transmission oil by Honda! This is also a problem because when buying a second hand car like a honda fit in Pakistan you never know how the previous owner has been doing with the car. In my opinion, If you really really want a Honda fit trying by a latest model in a very good condition which is driven very few kms. Otherwise i personally like the Civic 9th Generation in this price bracket other than buying a honda city or aqua! I would say if you like the 9th generation civic that would be a good buy too!
@@Carfreakreviews Thanks for writing back. I personally like hatchbacks more than sedans TBH. So Civic is a no. Bro, can you tell me have you faced any transmission problem with your Honda fit? I would have loved to go with the 17 face-lift model but obviously i have budget restrains. My max is 2.5 million. So at the most i can find a 2016 but i would prefer a 2015 with low mileage than paying for a 16' with more. Also the talk about the meter reading being reversed is also a pain in the head. I would prefer fit 10 times on Aqua or all it's competitors in its price range but also i am confused by all the talks about faulty transmission. Which model are you using? Also, is there anyway i can verify a Fit's transmission before buying it to know is there any damage already. As per my research Honda fit 3rd generation up to April 2014 had a software problem that would lead to a transmission malfunction. Do you think it's a good idea to get a 2015 and start using the gear oil Honda Japan recommends? Would that make it any better? I am confused so please excuse my illogical questions. Thanks in advance.
Sir thankful to you about this video kindly suggest me still i am confuse what i buy. I want hybrid daily up down Karachi to hyderabad sometime 300 km daily milage ? Which car u suggest me ? prius Alpha Aqua corolla 2015 ? I am waiting for your reply
If fuel efficiency is your number 1 preference i would say Aqua and otherwise Prius alpha is a good choice too 2015 corolla would be good if u need a very low maintenance and a easy parts availability

Then should not have been written in the video.
Ur reply is not valid. No need to justify. Just don't repeat in ur other videos as it irritates a lot.
