    I made several pairs of these last year and absolutely love this pattern/tutorial. I should have commented before now and learned a good lesson-I had misplaced the pattern-hadn’t save it-lesson definitely learned. Thank you for doing this easy, well thought out tutorial ❣️

    Love the texture of these gloves! I made a pair last night. Not perfect ( dues to my error not the pattern) but you can't tell due to the texture and the striping....Thanks!

    I love these... thanks for the pattern/tutorial! I have a skein of the LB landscapes yarn as you show on the glove on the left. The recommended hook size for that yarn is K. Should I use the K or the H (5 mm) hook you show in the tutorial? Thanks!

    The ones you made with Landscape yarn did you use size 5mm also? Is there a trick to get the 2 gloves to match their color stripes? Thanks for making the video so soothing ( your voice and music at perfect volume 🥰)

    If you have an even number of stitches, how do you end up with two of the same stitch together? Wouldn't it just always alternate dc, fpdc, dc, fpdc and you'd never have dc, dc or fpdc, fpdc like you show between the continuous rounds?

    Hi, Thank you so much for this tutorial. My fingerless gloves turned out so lovely 😊.
    Please can you tell me if there is an actual name of the stitch when the front post & the double crochet come together as a whole? Or is it just classed as front post & double crochet ?

    When doing a front post and then double crochet why do you skip the next front post underneath it

  • @heatherhersha2654

    I am struggling a bit with this, my confusion is do I count the row of just double crochet as the first row or is the "first row" considered the 1st row that we add the FPDC into the pattern? I can't seem to make my stitches line up with hers on the video after row "6" she's crocheting a FPDC where I would be putting a DC and my ocd brain can not handle it cause it's not "right"😂 help

    • @jolieknotscrochet3550
      @jolieknotscrochet3550  2 года назад +1

      At 9:50, i state the end of the first row and the end of the second to show you what it should look like, so, yes, the first dc row is row 1

    This is the first time I've come across the pattern for the body of the mittens. I have a stitch dictionary, but I couldn't find it. I am working on my own design. Do you know the name of the Stitch?

    • @a.r.3476

      Hi, sorry about not being clear. I am referring to the Stitch that comprises the bulk of the back of the hand. Not the ribbing, or the edging.

    If you use bulky yarn for this pattern what would the needle size be and how many rows would you do?

    • @jolieknotscrochet3550
      @jolieknotscrochet3550  2 года назад

      I don’t know, i didn’t work it in bulky yarn, so I’m sure the row and stitch counts would be different, that’s something you would have to do the match for

      I’m with you. I have crocheted for years and could not get mine to come out to my satisfaction by following this tutorial. I think it might have been how difficult to see the stitches due to color and pattern of the yarn and something about the camera view bothered me.

    i do not see how this is an increase. you're just doing the next stitch in the next space. how is this making an increase, because i cannot see where it's supposed to go in that yarn

    • @beckybrtva3873
      @beckybrtva3873 8 месяцев назад +1

      When you do a front post stich, you are going around the post of said stich, which leaves the top of the stitch unworked. What she is doing to increase the stitches is doing the front post stich around the stich, then putting a stitch in the top loops of the same stich.
