I agree that the sun and moon anime is my favorite anime series and the number 1 also is my second favorite(my real favorite is the episode with the dead cleffa)
That one’s also great! Definitely an honorable mention.
YES. FINALLY SOMEONE WHO THINKS LIKE ME
In all honesty, “Mad About Blue” is one of my guilty pleasures. For me, it’s one of those episodes that are so bad & stupid they’re funny.
I’m a fan of that one too, don’t worry :)
I absolutely loved journeys, and I was shocked to find out it was divisive
Your #8 and #3 are on my favorites list too! (I'm a gremlin who *adores* Journeys' slice-of-life content.)
I've been watching your content since the kirby copy abilities video and I really really like your videos.
This NEEDS more views.
Man I really want to see you talk about the other series, really love your stuff
If team rocket's podcast episode isn't in at least top 5 we riot
I hope I did not disappoint too badly…
@@SilveryMP it's high enough, I didn't expect it to be on the list TBH
Perfect choice for No. 1. 👍
lillie
I also adore journeys! My favorite eps were all with ghost pokemon, sobble's journey, go's journeys to catch all pokemon, and chloe's journey to like pokemon more
And *defenetly* the cryssa and ren episodes! (My favorite is ren's)
Beauuuutiful!!
Episode 114 was definitely the episode Journeys needed, especially for Ash on his road towards the end of the World Championships! No arguments from me on Paul being Ash’s greatest rival!
After I rewatched Diamond and Pearl a few years back, and loving the rivalry between Ash and Paul even moreso than before, I was definitely hoping for Paul to return someday, especially when I realized that Journeys was the final journey for Ash.
Aside from another battle between Ash and Paul, all I wanted to see between them was a showcase of seeing how far both trainers have come, both as trainers, and as people! Episode 114 definitely delivered that in spades. There’s a little bit more I would’ve loved to have seen or heard from Paul, like if he beat Brandon, which I imagine he must’ve at this point.
But at the end of the day, I loved how Journeys handled Paul’s return and overall character and dynamic with Ash! Only thing I felt was missing from the episode, besides the inconclusive background regarding Paul challenging Brandon, was Paul’s signature theme, and him calling Ash “pathetic” 😂
It definitely would’ve been cool to see Paul in the Masters 8, especially considering that besides the Masters 8 roster, Paul is probably the strongest trainer Ash can possibly face at this point. I felt a little iffy on him being a Gym Leader at first, considering his enormous strength, to the point where he can be arguably be considered to be on a Champion’s level.
But like you pointed out, the competitive side between Ash and Paul has pretty much been concluded! The fact that Paul came to help Ash train, essentially wanting Ash to defeat him in order to prepare him and his Masters’ 8 team, and seems content with being a Gym Leader, pretty much shows that Paul isn’t obsessed with battling competitively anymore, and seems intent/interested in being a constructive mentor as an obstacle to overcome in the form of a Gym Leader. Plus, there are other Champion level Gym Leaders.
The episode managed to balance his role/character perfectly, both with him being the blunt, intimidating badass he always is, while also highlighting how far he’s grown! It’s nice to see how far he’s come, but it’s also appreciated how they didn’t change him TOO much.
jonarda is a season that i had a lot of emotion from positive to negative, a season that i love and hate
JN45 will always be a personal favorite for me because of how it was straight up epic from beginning to end. Lucario and Cinderace's evolution moments are special to me for how they took place at the same time, but have different outcomes that are special with Ash and Goh.
the final battle of ash vs leon it was necessary to save the money for this episode, that's why the previous episodes had bad animation and also has the problem that the studio was having
We need more Journeys ,my favorite cap is 112 xD
👌
the director of sun and moon is the same director and he promised, he wouldn't make a worthless episode
simple answer, it's not xy
the reason i hate go is because of episode 102 the worst episode i remember maybe its the translation but what a bad episode
Alan is the worst rival
They Bullied Alain. So much for him teaming up with Steven on unlocking Mega Evolution power to be bullied by crappy Leon with base Charizard.
