Very rare indeed. The fan is actually an all-metal fan complete with shroud; But instead of grilles, this is wrapped around a durable, thick plastic shell. And it isn't a slouch either with a 3.7 amp 1/12HP motor that moves an incredible 5000CFM! And it is a beast, weighing in at 26lbs!
Definitely i have that fan on at night for sleeping at night love the sound of a fan running 🌬
This fan has an interesting plastic Grill on it. Never seen his style before. And I must agree it's very rare as I have never seen it. You guys have not posted videos of fans in a while I actually thought you guys stopped collecting them. But now I see I was wrong. Nice find and very clean condition.
GORGEOUS fan! Thank you for posting. The hum of the motor, especially fading out at power-cut is very interesting indeed.
Excellent startup sounds from this beast, and that fade away on low to off is a nice touch! I've never seen one like this, thanks for sharing.
Missed you Harley! First time I’ve ever seen a fan like that
I believe that fade away sound is the sound of the motor traveling throughout the fan blade. You hear it more on low as there is less air pressing on the blades. That's my guess on the fade away sound.
Very cool! Definitely an odd ball for sure!
Spats your literally my favorite
Love them old fans😁
This is a really cool fan!
There’s one of these on FB marketplace with a stand
Never seen many of these. There was one other collector who has one of these. Very cool find! Basically an early version of a Robeson Even Flo in a way..
Here comes another video by Spats Bear but with Harley Badger
I basically just do the fan videos
Good fan for it's age.
HARLEY!! Haven't heard from you in a dog's age. Hope you're doing well.
Heyo! Yup, it's been a minute. Doing fine, hope you're well too.
Also i did some research, $30 in 1969 almost directly translates to $230 is todays money. Most box fans on average in the 80’s were around 70-80. Sounds like alot, but its also made in USA.
I love you spats
Love that fan awesome
A time a fan was built soild American made
Interesting motor. I wonder who really designed this fan, sears never made theyre own fans. Had lasko , mcgraw edison and someone else.
Vernco made it.
@@spatsbear yes that was the ‘someone else’ thanks for the reminder.
