Leica lens are highly prized. The glass is top notch. This camera was more expensive than the typical cameras of that resolution on the market those days. It's a shame you disassembled a working camera of that quality. I know you are not going to reassemble it. I think you should consider taking apart non-working devices in the future. You are just creating more waste in the world. It could have at least have been recycled. Now you have a mess to throw out in the trash just to make a youtube video. I think this is irresponsible.

Fun teardown! I have a 90's 35mm Pentax compact camera with a 140 zoom if you are interested (for free) for a teardown. Not so much my full size 35mm or digital one, both almost useless but nice machines.

Lie- kaa. Some of the best glass in the world . They had 2 or 3 point and shoots of their own, then decided to leave that market, and make stuff for others, then had Matsuisha (Panasonic) make them. I had a c2 zoom in about 1999.
