Tino -- some food for thought. I think the "two heads" thing on sailboats really started with the charter market for two couples spending a week or two aboard. For a solo sailor -- or even a couple, the second head is a total waste of space. If I were ever to buy another boat with two heads, the first thing I would do is to take out the toilet and sink, and convert the entire space into storage -- for sails, tools, and probably to hang wet foul weather gear. Unless you are planning on bringing a family aboard, or sailing a lot with another couple, the second head is not needed. (I have never, ever, used my second head a single time in 4 years. On long passages, I store fenders in there, along with the spinnaker.)
Great video Tino Its interesting that you show us the marina and discuss so much about the ice. As a Western Australian who had to travel overseas to see ice, it makes a good education. Best wishes working to your next yacht!
Thanks for showing us around your frozen marina Tino. We dont get ice like that in Pittwater Sydney Australia. Good luck with your boat upgrade. Ive just sold my Phantom 32 and looking at something around a BAV 36ft. Boats are very easy to sell here as we cant travel overseas due to covid and this has pushed prices up. My boat sold for full price the first day it was advertised for sale
Super with a new video from you Tino.... that has gotten longer between them. Miss some more! You better stop working and make more video for us. 😉it will be easy to sell KITO.... There are not many boats that are in such good condition! 👌 I do not quite know why it is important to have a bigger boat? 🤔 We are a family of 3 in our older Hallberg Rassy 31 feet, and are having the same views as the large boats, but with very low costs. You just have to sit on the toilet and brush your teeth, then you can easily see yourself in the mirror. 😄👍
Another good update. I have really enjoyed your videos as an owner of a B32. I know u are not going to invest in your present boat, or maybe you will. I am looking for someone with the Volvo penta saildrive MD2020 that has added LiFOP4 batteries with a dc to dc charger installed. I would love to see how they did it. I am having issues working out the wiring. So if you know of anyway to find out more about such a project I think it would make a great video with lots of interest. Take care!
I have thought about the DC to DC system, but it has not been necessary in my current boat. I'll let you know when I come across some info regarding the system 😊
thanks Tino. that s always a great pleasure to see your video. just a question...is it impossible for you to buy and to live aboard you new boat? may be is that the solution..what about you?

I'll like to live on the boat in Skive where my new job is located. Of course also possible to do in Kito, something I also have considered.
Damn! that's a lot ice!
Thanks for watching my video. I have followed your channel from the beginning and have seen all your videos. Greetings from Denmark europe 😊

Why not change things little? You can have the mirror on the door and the towels where the mirror is now?
Why buying another boat? -Thats means nomore maintaining videos?? (as for my motor, Volvo Penta md2020)
The new boat may have a MD2030, I also have a plan to switch out the saildrive membrane on the next boat and do other engine related things :)
