Hey Asuka, first of all, big fan from Brazil.
Second, the reason that the pancake didn't work out was because you mixed the eggwhites with the wisk you mixed the egg yolks. Pastries are a really hard part of culinary school, and we've learned that you can have egg whites in your egg yolks but NEVER eggyolks in your eggwhites, the mixture get heavy and the structured air inside them gets dismounted.
Hope you give it a try, and don't chill the eggs, it gets them harder to work, always use room temperature ingredients.
Yes, I cringed a bit when she mixed a bit of the yolks with the whites.

To make the egg white foam u have to mix it at full speed for quite some time. Sadly your whisk broke down. U can do it by hand but gosh it really works out ur arms. BTW LOVE U ASUKA!

$120 for pancakes? I would have gotten the Aunt Jemima pancake mix and called it a day.
Also know the feeling of buying a new electronic item only for it to break and have a mind of it's own shortly after taking it out of the box. Had that issue with a couple of blenders.
Obviously typo she said 120 yen and just didn’t convert but I don’t think pancakes are 1.20 either lol
@@Nervar She spent $120 but not all that went for this single instance of pancakes. The griddle, the non-working blender, the spatulas and whisk which were the expensive items, will presumably be used for many years so their cost for this one breakfast was pennies. Likewise Kana didn't use five pounds of flour and a dozen eggs at once.

Congratulations, my empress. I've never seen a pancake recipe that includes honey. They still cooked up well, and look delicious. I usually put butter between them, and cover with real maple syrup. You did very well (just like everything else). Thank you for sharing.
