As someone who also gets two Summers per year (here in Melbourne and then in New York/Connecticut during Aussie Winter) I completely agree it is the DREAM and best way to beat seasonal depression lol. Not sure if you have any nights off while you're here but if you do you should see a theatre show, our productions are genuinely some of the best in the world.

Sony ZV E-10 is an amazing camera, but I would say also look into the DJI Osmo Pocket 3! It's very very portable but has an amazing 1-inch sensor & if the screen is too small for your liking, you can actually connect it to your phone as a view finder/controller. It's already wide, but you can still add their wide-angle (& filters)for a bit more room. Creator Combo for it is in similar in price & comes with all the needed bells & whistles, but I would say the biggest benefit is how you can film both vertical & horiontal content with ease. So it will def enchance your tiktoks too! Idk, just a big fan of it even if I had bought the DJI Osmo Pocket 2 a year before 🥲 The upgraded version is chef's kiss!

There’s honestly no reason to shoot in 4k for RUclips. The files will be so much bigger and you’ll get less footage and tax tf out of your laptop. And most ppl aren’t viewing on RUclips in 4k unless they’re gamers. However, I have the Sony and canon as well and I just like the Sony better for vlogging. I wouldn’t give myself a headache trying to do 4k tho. Film is 24fps and that’s great enough. Love you!
