I’m waiting for mine to ship and they can’t get here soon enough!!! Ordered mine back in Feb so the anticipation is building. I need them for a hunt in late August so getting close. Glad you did video though cuz you showed the full function and something you don’t see in shot show and promo videos. I might be doin some one sticking to but sometimes multi sticks are better option and the weight you can’t beat on these sticks!!!
@@NextStepOutdoors I haven’t done it before either but I was a licensed arborist back in the day so I did some SRT/DRT climbing on the private tree work we did and that’s not a big stretch to one stick. Now I don’t believe I could do the SRT/DRT thing now nor do I think I could it quietly so gonna try the one stick thing. Now I believe this to be an early season/warmer weather thing for me. I live in ME so cold weather is assured during our deer season and I think one sticking is gonna require just a bit more effort for me at least so need multi stick option. Also there are a lot of trees I’m not sure I could one stick even if I wanted to with limbs everywhere and crooked as hell. Also I’ve hunted with a climber foreva and if you do know where your goin or have a preset tree it’s doable but a saddle and one stick for those trees would be even better as it weights 20lbs less!!!!
Can't wait for mine to ship. How are they when stacked for transport? I saw a stacking attachment from Genesis 3D made specifically for these sticks, so I'm considering purchasing if sound is an issue when transporting.
They come with a strap that I think will work well to hold them together while transporting. I've been playing around with just stacking them and use the amsteel rope on the top stick to wrap up the rest of them. It has worked really well and that way I don't need any additional straps, etc.
I am really glad I found your review I wanna order these but was scared not knowing how much foot room I would have I ordered the one sticks and and to sell those did not like how little room I had
I posted another vid talking about all the mods I did to them. After 8 days in the field already, I'm super pumped on them and not sure id change anything.
Had a single step also xop it was not ok for me I returned them and git skeletors. Cool review just wish they were four packs so I can justify buying.WI
I have 4 if these sticks. I feel that the size and weight are perfect. I still don’t like hanging system. Latitude needs to produce a gen 2 with tabs big/strong enough to use this system or Amsteel daisy chains.
I appreciate you saying that. The video I made was based off of the original directions they had at ATA in the spring. They must have changed it right after I made this video.
I didn't have any issues. Rarely do I ever use a flashlight going up or down in the dark (do this at your own discretion) but I don't foresee having any problems even in real low light. Was running a versaaider before which was a little more tricky and still didn't have issues.
I've tried on a handful of different trees and sizes including some weird curvy ones and they did well. Have not tried them in the rain yet but expect them to bite solid still.
@@NextStepOutdoors damn, that’s a massive difference. I’ll have to look into them! I went scouting with my saddle and sticks last week to finalize what trees to sit and by the end I was dragging ass.
No flex for me. I weigh 220lb. Attachment method was a nice change from the Amstels daisy chains I had been running on previous sticks. Seemed to bite well even on some goofy trees. So far so good.
I know they are rated to 275lb and are third party tested. The 5 year warranty they offer shows how confident they are in the materials and design for these.
Alright stand-off distance is about 4" and the steps are 9" wide. Good call on the weight. I'll make a video with how I mod them and include that with/without stealth strips.
This was the first time I climbed with them and just hooked them to a tiny caribeaner on my right hip with the amsteal connecting to one of the cleats. It worked really well but I am going to play around with a few other things. With other sticks I usually make a little loop of 1/8" bunjee shock cord and have one on each stick and hook that to my caribeaner. I'll make another video here soon showing how I mod them out to fit my system best.
You can definitely grab the steps. There's just not a ton of room to wrap your hand all the way around it if that's what you meant due to the way the standoff is designed. You can grab the post tho too.
@@NextStepOutdoors I wish that was something I knew but we will have to just wait an see brobro.🦌🏹3D printers are definitely cheaper than they ever been an more user-friendly than the past machines. XD

Good review. I wasn't planning on upgrading anything this season but I really dig how flat they stack together. Might be reconsidering...
Ya, I'm pretty stoked with how well they pack up. Excited to run them this fall!

Nice video... I like the sticks. Do you have an FAA Part 107 or are you a pilot?
Neither
Can’t wait to get mine

Thank you for doing the tape measurer ....
What are you using to attach them to your saddle?
I explain that in this video if you’d like a visual ruclips.net/video/K4VCCTR2qJ0/видео.htmlsi=1tdunkfx13Cb-yNG

I love the attachment method. Not much would change at all.
Just fyi, the instructions from Latitude want you to cinch both right and left sides after running the figure 8
I appreciate you saying that. The video I made was based off of the original directions they had at ATA in the spring. They must have changed it right after I made this video.
How was it coming down the tree? Were you able to get into the aider without any issues? Wondering how it would be coming down at night.

@@MoldingLegends no problem!!
I wonder what the usable life of those sticks are?
Do you think you’ll have to push stealth strips on them to make more quiet
Yeah, I do that on all my gear regardless.
Have you tried them on different types of trees? How well do they bite?
I've tried on a handful of different trees and sizes including some weird curvy ones and they did well. Have not tried them in the rain yet but expect them to bite solid still.
How much do these weigh vs say hawk helium minis? I’m always looking to lighten my set up, especially for getting to spots deep into public.
They are much lighter. A hair under 1.2lb compared to 2.5lbs for the hawks.

Can anyone tell me how these compare to Gen 3 One stix????

What is the stand-off distance. Looking at these and Tethrd one sticks.
I'll measure tomorrow and let you know.

How much do you weigh? Are these as strong as the last version?
These are brand new. To my knowledge there isn't a previous version. I'm 220# tho and they were rock solid.
How are you attaching them to your saddle while climbing?

Hair ties work
Will these sticks be compatible with a lwcg 1.0 stand?
They pack super nice so I'm sure they will compliment a 1.0 well.
Wow nice bunnies at 0:03
I still got it...even with those swampers on
I wish I could use them but only 275 lbs rated

I canceled my order I doubt they will ever ship lol. Sticking with lone wolf.
Launching new products is a huge process. I recall LW going through something similar when they launched theirs.
