That interior looks really luxurious it's refreshing to see something different than the mainstream cars. I'd prefer this interior and layout over a 5 series anyway.
I get what you’re trying to say like Volvo and safety or whatever but this car is actually second to Mercedes-Benz right now. The S class and the E class have better crash ratings than the safest Volvo, which I would assume is this.
Your pretty much Right they are cheaper in ways, my Grandpa always said Volvos are like Subarus. Because they last for a long time and best winter cars to drive in but some Volvos are expensive but cheaper in the same ways. But Volvo and Subaru are pretty much the Same car but not related by the same company. So Volvos are cheaper and expensive. But your right they are cheaper than the BMW, Audi and Mercedes Benz.
Volvo is KILLING the game right now. Sure, they usually dont offer the same power or driving performance as a BMW or Merc, but they have actually become exponentially less expensive, and have some of the nicest interiors of any car brand, period.
***** It's not aboit cylinders. It's about performance. In the 90s, the 850 was the first rounded edge Volvo ever. The aesthetic ancestor of these new cars. And it jad an amazing 5 cylinder engine. And inline 5 and for a sedan of that era it was fantastic!
Kudos on being just about the only reviewer to show the seats folded down. Others don't seem to get that if you're buying a larger sedan you care about things like space inside. The interior is nice, but they go on and on about and forget this important issue.
It's not the worst I've seen, but it's in no way on par with the rest of the car. I wish the rear fascia was more concave like the front grille instead of convex like it is now.
I saw this car in person about an hour ago, in white at night. Very attractive looking car and that's honesty to the fullest. Those LED's were sharp too
One of the best affordable luxury sedans on the market! That interior even puts certain upper tier luxury brands to shame! Even though I don't like the 4-bangers being the dominant engine option, I think I'll be willing to live with one of these!
Really nice , Kyle! The top of the line Volvo's have always been some of the nicest and most unique luxury sedans and this one doesn't disappoint! Love the multi screen on the touch screen , and the placement of the CD player in the consol(yes people still listen to CDs!) very nice video Kyle, and thanks for still adding your Saabkyle04 trademarks " let's start it up and let it run" and "let's check out the exterior shall we?"
So beautiful!!! I go to the L.A. Auto Show every year & always skip Volvo, but I really want to check one of these out when I go there next month! I really wish it offered a V6 or V8. That's my only complaint. Otherwise, I would definitely put it on my shopping list if I was buying a vehicle in this segment.
LOVE YOUR CHANNEL - one suggestion - just stopped the video at 9:23 because you've been talking about the grille for about 15-20 seconds, but all the video has been of the rear end. I have noticed this in some of your other videos before too - talking about one thing but showing video of something else. When I'm listening to what you're saying, I'm not seeing it, and so I'm having to think in my head from what I saw previously to make sense of the details being discussed. It's something small, but with all the effort and dedication you put into very thorough, high-quality content, I thought it worthwhile to offer this constructively as a suggestion. Keep up the great work, Kyle!
It has not had any reliability issues, other than a recall or two. My OEM tires had to be replaced at 17K miles, despite plenty of tread left on them. I wobbled pretty bad at highway speed. I am original owner.
I'm confused why my parents don't care about Volvos, my aunt has 2 Volvos and she likes both of them, she has a 2008 XC70 and 2017 XC90 Volvos are cheap and her truck cost more than a Volvo. A Volvo would be 40,000 - 60,000 and 40,000 is about one more ten thousand than an average car price, Volvos are the best cars you can get in my opinion, it's sleek and smooth and the interior is brilliant, the safety it offers is incredibly safe, Also a ten year old car freak and I love this guy's videos.
Mom has an XC90, and it is AMAZING. Much less expensive than competitors, drives really nicely despite the 4 cylinder, and has much better safety, a lot of tech, and super efficent. Engine is pretty punchy in the T6.
Screw Acura TLX, screw Lincoln MKZ...heck I think this even eats the Buick LaCrosse, right into the heart of competitors like Mercedes E300 and BMW 530i. It is that good. Does the transverse FWD bother me? Considering how Volvo so aggressively prices it (about $10k cheaper than Germans) and how upscale the interior is, I frankly don't care.
A 2017 Volvo S90 T6 Inscription reminds me of a full-size Buick: quiet, front-wheel drive and luxurious. I would consider a Volvo S90 topmost competitor to a Lincoln Continental. Both vehicles are priced significantly with each other, as well as the Acura RLX and Kia K900.
A great in depth review and such a beautiful car. Volvo is a very underated brand, this Volvo looks very luxurious inside and out with a beautiful designed interior, they have the most confortable seats made, they are safer, cheaper and more reliable than the Mercedes E series. I considered the Mercedes but it's very plain outside design wasn't appealing and the iinterior digital dash looks cheap, it's like a large tablet was just placed there. It would have be better intergrated in the dash. I owned a S80 with a straight 6cyl. and it was great and I felt very safe when driving . It was a very heavy a strong built car. This Volvo will be my next new vehicle.
I have not seen a Volvo S90 like no other country. It turns out that the Car has a Sleeker large body and Has a leather interior and Three choices of leather interior Amber, Blonde and Charcoal.
Hey Kyle.. Long time subscriber and viewer. One that ALWAYS lets all the ads play out fully. I've got a "Request" I've always loved the 1986 Mercury Capri 5.0. If you happen to stumble upon a clean one that's still mostly stock, I'd love to see your take on one. Have you ever thought about doing a weekly video on an American Classic? Just a thought and an idea... Thanks for the videos!
Hello Kyle! Can You make a video about some classic American car from 1970s in the near future? I really want to see something different from these modern cars.
It kind of funny how Volvo switched to a red turn signal in the rear. On the XC90 at least its a bright led unit, why on earth would they put a normal bulb in the S90?!
Yes this drives me INSANE about so many cars. Either go full LED or don't. Stop mixing and matching, no one has given me a satisfactory answer as to why they do this.
That interior looks really luxurious it's refreshing to see something different than the mainstream cars. I'd prefer this interior and layout over a 5 series anyway.
they say volvo is expensive, but its cheaper than a bmw or audi and has more safety to offer
doodskie999 but it doesn't offer an engine ;)
I get what you’re trying to say like Volvo and safety or whatever but this car is actually second to Mercedes-Benz right now. The S class and the E class have better crash ratings than the safest Volvo, which I would assume is this.

They've really improved their image, by introducing the XC90 and now this. Oh and the V90 too
I agree, Volvo is the definition of luxury queues. Who could dislike the interior? It seems they're bringing back chrome accents, that I love.
Why do they lose value so quickly?
Oh my god... I just found my new dream car.
watch my S90 video--it is better than this one. punch my name in the search engine and watch
Jay Premier Same here
When I first got my Volvo S60, my mom had her reservations, but after driving it, she loves it. Now to just get her into a V90 T6...
Man. That's awesome to see that you're almost at 1 Million subs. Keep up the great videos !!!
Thanks so much!
Mercedes
I subscribed like 6 years ago. I have been following Kyle around since he was a freshman in college.
Kool Acclaimed™ same!
These new Volvos are SO sexy!
Yep, Volvo's new product line looks better than ever.
Yes, if they would have 6 cylinders
Na it's not up to par with German, the front fascia looks great but the rear looks thrown together, GERMAN all the way
***** It's not aboit cylinders. It's about performance. In the 90s, the 850 was the first rounded edge Volvo ever. The aesthetic ancestor of these new cars. And it jad an amazing 5 cylinder engine. And inline 5 and for a sedan of that era it was fantastic!
HossKirkland like me

the front looks amazing , the back im not so sure of , needs some getting used to probably
I've been getting used to it for the last couple of months here in Sweden and I still think it looks a little odd... The V90 looks MUCH better!
holymolydamn I dnt like the rear too, it looks weird
It's not the worst I've seen, but it's in no way on par with the rest of the car. I wish the rear fascia was more concave like the front grille instead of convex like it is now.
holymolydamn I didn't like it at first, but i see them on the road quite frequently in Sweden and it looks great.
holymolydamn look at the lincoln continental
Had one of these for about two years now and it's one of the best cars we've ever had
The finest of Scandinavian craftsmanship!
Oooh Kyle, soon a million subscribers!!! You deserve this man, you have really worked hard and you always provide excellent content.
I saw this car in person about an hour ago, in white at night. Very attractive looking car and that's honesty to the fullest. Those LED's were sharp too
These Volvos are so beautiful, I have no idea why I haven't seen any of them on the road at all.
Kyle...This is the nicest Volvo sedan inside and out that I have ever seen.
One of the best affordable luxury sedans on the market! That interior even puts certain upper tier luxury brands to shame!
Even though I don't like the 4-bangers being the dominant engine option, I think I'll be willing to live with one of these!
Not affordable at all

Kyle I have been a sub when you were at 3K subs! I'm amazed on you being at almost 1 million! Road to one mil!
Literally the best video about this car.

DisneyMusicVideos its very fast, buy i get you point i have the new xc90 and its very fast
Thor Strömbäck Who wants to recharge their hybrid all the time? Especially somewhere like in the mountains, the XC90 is a good Mountain car
I saw one of these on the road once and wondered what the hell it was. Glad this review came out so now I know.
Beautiful just beautiful I own a 2006 volvo s60 2.5t AWD and I love it it's super fast and luxury
Hi Kyle! Please don't forget all the first person shots like you used to do! That's what made you better over the competition for me 😊
I'm officially in love with the new Volvo S90! BEAUTIFUL CAR and AWESOME REVIEW!!
This car is BEAUTIFUL!!!
love everthing volvo is doing with these new cars
Volvo has stepped it up to another level! Great job guys
My first Volvo sedan! Awesome video bro.
Volvo, Saab and koenigsegg- all from Sweden, I live in Sweden and see that Volvo car every day.. Love american cars (and Saab

Thank you for this review! It helped me make the decision and I just bought a loaded 2017 S90 T6 Inscription.
How is your T6? Any reliability issues?
It has not had any reliability issues, other than a recall or two. My OEM tires had to be replaced at 17K miles, despite plenty of tread left on them. I wobbled pretty bad at highway speed. I am original owner.
We're about to start seeing more of these on the roads this next year forsure. This car is nice fr

Jesus, so nice car...amazing
Nice job Kyle! I could after about thirty seconds in the video you really liked this car.
Volvo is stepping up their game since the SUV with the same style came out!
Quality, all around.
good luck on getting 1,000,000 subscribers

Can't wait to see the V90's to show up.
I've been waiting for a review on this! Love the inteiror!
my s90 review is better---punch my name in the search engine and watch
I wish there was a 5/6 Cylinder Option. I hate the sound of a 4 Cylinder
Ikr. It sucks
my grandma's 2.0 (4 cylinder) ecoboost ford taurus makes a funny noise. never liked it. but an aftermarket exhaust would make it sound better
to put it into perspective, it sounds like a mini-chainsaw
Or V8 engines in such a great car :(
ThatGearHead I have a 5-cylinder turbo V50, and it sounds amazing, even with the stock exhaust. It also makes power everywhere.
Great job! Love your vids.
Will you get the V90 in the US?
Yep! I cannot wait to drive it!
Volvo V90 T6 AWD R-Design with the Bursting Blue metallic paint... Aaah, looks amazing! i.imgur.com/FhZu04C.png
Not a fan of those plastic covers in the front bumber that all new cars have nowadays, looks cheap and bad.
Blame the pedestrians, they die too easily.
plastic covers? what are you talking about?
I have a 2012 volvo s80. It's beautiful. I don't know why people wouldn't buy it.
the interior looks luxury af
Love this Volvo, the only one I would ever buy from Volvo.
you make great videos. keep it up! you helped me decide on getting the R53 Mini :) Thanks Bro!
New Volvos look awesome!
Not a big fan of the rear of this one in particular though. A little too rough
A 2017 Volvo S90 T6 Inscription reminds me of a full-size Buick: quiet, front-wheel drive and luxurious. I would consider a Volvo S90 topmost competitor to a Lincoln Continental. Both vehicles are priced significantly with each other, as well as the Acura RLX and Kia K900.
another great review kyle keep it up!
Volvo is back!
Wow! Those are the highest resolution camera's I have ever seen!
I need one in bright red. Bagged on big black 22" wheels. Windows tinted darker than space.
Since that's what you think makes a car look nice I can tell you could never afford one
volvo really stepped it up
MY2017 Volvo S90 and V90 (upcoming) all have front coil-overs and rear leaf spring suspension. The air suspension is only offered in the back.
you don't have to explain to us every video how keyless entry works, its been around for a decade

Great looking car, very high level of quality and luxury
That rear end makes it look like a Ford Taurus, but I still like the car. Nice review Kyle!
I have not seen a Volvo S90 like no other country. It turns out that the Car has a Sleeker large body and Has a leather interior and Three choices of leather interior Amber, Blonde and Charcoal.
Hope to see a CX9 review in the near future.
Greetings from Singapore!
They should bring over the V90, it'll be so cool
Can you please do a review of the 2017 Lincoln Continental!
Hey Kyle.. Long time subscriber and viewer. One that ALWAYS lets all the ads play out fully. I've got a "Request" I've always loved the 1986 Mercury Capri 5.0. Hello Kyle! Can You make a video about some classic American car from 1970s in the near future? I really want to see something different from these modern cars.
You're great! Thanks for these crazy thorough reviews
How many times should I watch videos about Volvo s90 without getting bored!!!
Great video, I also can't wait for the V90.
exceptional review, thank you!
Great video keep up the good work so many people tried to do what you do but fail lol
I'm just sittin here waitin on the 2017 Super Duty video.
still waiting for him to reach 1 million subs
Good review again.
American auto manufacturer still cant make something this pretty and with simple eloquence.
so beautiful car. I love 👍
Stunning car, great job on the review. :)
That's one beautiful automobile. I think Volvo is going to sell many of them.
I like the switch up in review style.
great video, thanks so much!
I had a Volvo 2017 s60 T5 awd rental, it was nice but I prefer a v6 option over a turbocharged
Can I subscribe twice!!! Wow, this is an awesome car. I'm surprised.
Hey kyle great video thanks man !!!
I'm glad Kenneth from 30 Rock is still getting work.
Volvo made sure to give it a nice long hood to distract you from only having 4 cylinder options in a full size luxury sedan.
It's a turbo and supercharged hybrid tho
The funny thing is that the volvo is making better and more premium key fobs than bentley and rolls royce...
well detailed good that you mention the price as well . nice one
Could you ever get a review of a Volvo 850??
I need this car in my life
OMG 4 cylinder?! I'm still buying a Volvo S80 V8. But I like the look of s90
If volvo made a bmw x6 or mercedes glc coupe equivalent it will be the sexiest car ever
love that interior
Awesome review Kyle! Will you be reviewing any of the new Acura's anytime soon?
I really hope the 600+ hp S and V90 polestars will actually be real. I would by the V90 in a heartbeat.
Sorry but 365hp is the current spec for the Polestar trim.
Maxime Clermont Yeah, the S60 Polestar have 367 HP, they could easily make the S/V90 above 500 HP
***** What made you so fucking offended? Are you on your period again?
***** Mad? If you think so, okay...
***** It's running real good, just broke down on thr highway.
I can't wait to see a new S60 with Volvos new design language.
I can't wait for the 2016 toyota avalon limited indepth review
It kind of funny how Volvo switched to a red turn signal in the rear. On the XC90 at least its a bright led unit, why on earth would they put a normal bulb in the S90?!
It does look like there are 3 LED lights in the turn signal? Look at 8:55
Thats what I thought too.. I just got to check one out in person the other day and its just an incandescent bulb
Was it the Inscription trim level? I'm wondering if they're different between the packages.
Yes this drives me INSANE about so many cars. Either go full LED or don't. Stop mixing and matching, no one has given me a satisfactory answer as to why they do this.
They're all the same. I was at the Volvo dealer checking them out, and as to why, I would say cost cutting but then again its not a bargain priced car
